We booked an All-Inclusive package for five rooms as a family. While the hotel's exterior grounds are genuinely beautiful—with direct beach access, lovely pools, and an attractive outdoor seating area between the pool and the sea—there is a complete disconnect between how the property looks on the outside and the reality on the inside.
Our first day was ruined dealing with exhausting logistics, room repairs, and swaps. In the first room, the shower door was entirely missing. In the second room, the shower door had literally been ripped off, leaving zero partition between the shower and the bedroom. In our own room, we were upgraded to a larger room, but it was simply unsuitable for staying with a baby, and despite our prior request, no baby cot/crib was provided, which forced us to move rooms. Management gave us a hard time about switching, and we had to argue and firmly insist just to get functional rooms. On top of that, none of us had hot water for showers on the first day across all our rooms.
The rooms were generally clean, except for one day when we returned to find our room hadn't been cleaned at all, forcing us to specifically go and request a cleaner. Furthermore, despite being on an All-Inclusive plan, the rooms didn't provide complimentary drinking water, and we had to pay out of pocket for bottled mineral water throughout our stay.
The dining experience was another major letdown. Only breakfast was reasonable; the rest of the food was dreadful and well below acceptable hotel standards. At lunchtime, the included snack stations (gyros, crepes, and ice cream) appeared deliberately understaffed, with only a single employee working at a glacial pace, forcing guests to wait over 30 minutes in line under the heat—giving a clear feeling that they wanted to discourage guests from taking advantage of the all-inclusive food. When management offered dinners at the à la carte restaurant to compensate for our initial struggles, it proved to be a completely hollow gesture: the restaurant was either closed or fully booked, so we couldn't even use it.
On top of everything, the elevators were constantly overwhelmed with painful wait times all day long, and the outdoor seating areas were stripped of cushions under the excuse of "fear of rain" that never came, leaving the outdoor areas hard, bare, and unusable.
The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff was friendly and polite. Among the things that negatively affected our assessment of the stay, we must mention: the food (some of the drinks served in the dining hall were simply too salty, and the dishes—even those from the warming trays—were lukewarm at best; we even tried dishes that had just been brought from the kitchen—in 90% of cases, they were cold). Comments from other guests who had stayed at the hotel previously about a frequent unpleasant odor coming from the sinks and showers were, unfortunately, also confirmed. The entertainment program wasn’t particularly well-advertised—it made us laugh when, in response to my wife’s question about where the yoga classes were held, the receptionist was unable to provide an answer. That doesn’t change the fact that she tried to be nice and helpful :)
The hotel is great. Staff are good, facilities are great and the location is good - right on the beach and walking distance to falaraki. We booked two rooms, one for me and my partner, and one for our two adult children. Went to children’s room first, it was really nice and had a fantastic sea view. The only issue with the room is it was a weird bathroom set up. Although the toilet could be shut off, there was no door to the shower area which isn’t idea when a brother and sister are sharing. They had to shower / get ready to go out in turn as neither wanted to shower with the other in the room. My room is where it went down hill a little - clearly they are updating the hotel and whilst the kids room had been done up, ours was much more dated. Not a bad room, but not as nice as the updated room. Another negative - you can’t trust the labeling on the food for allergies. My partner is gluten free, and a few days we saw labels that stated no gluten, yet the food clearly contained it (tortilla wrap / pasta etc), and that was assuming the food was labelled as a lot of it wasn’t. Not a massive issue, but means if you have an allergy, be careful. We spoke to staff one day and there was a clear language barrier and we gave up. Outside the front of the hotel is a bus stop, and at the back in the beach (hotel next door) there is a water taxi pick up / drop off point where you can get a return to Rhodes for 18 euro each. GET A RETURN. We did thankfully, because when we went to get the last water taxi back, there were too many people for the boat and they gave priority to those with a return ticket…! There are multiple pools and plenty of comfy loungers. Drinks are standard - local beer, spirits and cocktails etc overall, we were happy with our stay and would go back.
Location was lovely
The atmosphere was like a 18-30 hotel, folkes drunk, sinking and causing a nuisance until early hours, hotel did nothing
Room was lovely and clean
Food was very poor, lack of selection and constantly cold
Gym facility had most of equipment broken or faulty
All inclusive drinks like drinking water
Not value for money for the price
Hotel is down as 5 Star, the only 5 star bit is the views
Not de luxe by any means. On our arrival at 10pm we asked about food. The girl at the desk advised there were cheese or ham rolls. No good as I’m lactose and gluten intolerant. When I asked about anything else, she just shrugged nonchalantly, like she didn’t care. Since then, food is okay but same things at lunch and dinner. apart from the pools there’s not much to do and entertainment is mediocre.
