Mixed review really. Staff at resort really are 5 star. Very friendly and give great service remembering what you drink etc. You cannot fault them! The food was also excellent. Great variation à la carte options were fantastic and so much choice. Food definitely 5 star! Great sized pool - water was very cold but once you were in it was fine. The things we felt let it down were - the area yes you can get a bus to the old town or taxi and yes you can walk/bus/taxi to Faliraki but within the area there wasn’t a lot. No nice walking areas. Beach was very pebbly and looked very unkempt in places. The walk to Faliraki there were areas that looked extremely run down. Inside the hotel room was small and due to a huge thunderstorm (cannot be helped) room become claustrophobic. It did not help that the hotel was advertised as having satellite tv however only 8 English channels and they were 6 news and 2 music. Zero entertainment however there were a lot of German channels - this made it feel that the hotel catered mostly for German guests not British. There is also a lack of privacy in the bathroom area. A 3/4 glass door to toilet and shower but open plan to the rest of the room is less than ideal. I would rate this as 1 star. Hotel entertainment was poor and throughout the weeks stay only 1 show we rated as good. Overall a mediocre experience nice to have a break but felt certain areas could and should be improved upon especially when rated 5 star

Close to perfection!
A beautiful hotel with great decor in the rooms and bars. The bed was unbelievably comfy and the room was spotless each day on our return. The staff were great, really attentive and friendly. I honestly cannot rate this hotel any better!

Amazing !!
We have just returned from the most unbelievable amazing trip we . I don’t even have words for how grateful we are for the staff making it the best holiday ever we had so much fun ! Nothing was too much trouble . We loved it so much and felt so relaxed and comfortable we have booked to come back next year ! Thank you so much ! We stayed in room 7048 and it was perfect ! Not a 5* experience.
Although a beachfront hotel it is a very pebbled beach with minimal sand. Sea shoes recommended. We were surprised not to be offered a welcome drink on arrival. The first room we were given overlooked a building site. This was not acceptable to us. No notice having been given about this in advance by Jet2. The next day we were moved to a different room. The rooms were poorly lit and the bathroom area needed much better lighting. As others have mentioned the toilet door and the shower door were frosted glass and the sink & hair drying area had no door at all. This meant a lack of privacy. The beds were comfy. There was no long mirror in the room. Robes and slippers were provided. Two bottles of water were given each day. The Staff on the whole were very friendly. Thanos at the adult pool bar was wonderful. Due to bad weather 3/5 of our restaurant bookings were cancelled. The buffet food was plentiful with a good variety. When at the Buffet we sat in the adults only part of the restaurant but children were often allowed in. The desserts were mostly creamy but the chocolate sweets & chocolate fountains made a nice change. There were plenty of Greek options to try. The pools were absolutely freezing. Sunbeds were old and tired. Pool towels could only be changed once ( we were there for 10 days). The sun umbrellas were very difficult to put up and needed replacing. The Adult cocktail lounge was large and a range of drinks were available. One night we tried the evening entertainment. It was located outside on concrete terracing. Not for us thank you. There is nothing to walk out to in the surrounding area. We took a boat trip to Lindos which we loved. We went by bus to Rhodes old town and returned to the hotel in the water taxi. Sadly the boarding stairs and waiting area for the water taxi & boat trips were swept away in the storm. On the whole we did have a nice holiday. However it is not a 5* experience. We are unlikely to be returning.

Amazing family hotel
We recently had a wonderful stay at Amada Colossos Resort in Rhodes, Greece, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.
From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The resort is absolutely fantastic, with plenty of activities and entertainment for the whole family. Our children had an amazing time and enjoyed every moment of our holiday!
The staff were incredibly kind, polite, attentive, and always willing to help. We would especially like to give a special thank you to Maria from the main restaurant. She was exceptionally friendly, caring, and helpful throughout our stay. Her kindness and warm hospitality truly made our experience even more special. She is a wonderful asset to the hotel!
Another thing that really impressed us was the excellent level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the resort. Everything was very well maintained, and our rooms were always spotless, fresh, and comfortable.
Overall, we had an unforgettable family holiday filled with beautiful memories. We would highly recommend Amada Colossos Resort to anyone, especially families with children.
We will definitely be coming back in the future!
