We stayed at Utopia Blu for a week and it was the best hotel we’ve stayed at. Beautiful scenery, 20 mins to get into Kos town with local buses every 20 mins. 10 min walk to the beach which was lovely. Pools were lovely and plenty of sunbeds. Staff were class all so friendly and accommodating. The 2 3 course meals included in the all inclusive at the à la carte restaurants were amazing. We will be returning soon.
It was the best experience of my life. We had Sophia and Philip; they were incredibly lovely people. We booked the full experience—the best thing we’ve ever done.
We are just back from a week in the Utopia Blu - 2 adults and 'children' 16 & 20. We had 2 x Junior Suite with Private Pool which was fantastic - plenty of space and a good sized pool to relax in. Looking at the rooms with swim up and shared pools they looked great as well and would be torn on which to choose again. I would echo all the great points in these reviews - staff, cleanliness, food & drink, entertainment and grounds are all fantastic. We used the Padel court, got the bus back from the beach, got gifts in the supermarket across the road and watched football in a sports bar down the strip, plus got a trip into Kos Town on the bus - but mainly we relaxed by the pools and made good use of the bar and restaurant facilities.
Thanks for a great stay and would recommend this hotel as it lives up to expectations!!
Really clean, beautiful hotel. I would say aimed at adults mainly. Kids entertainment team were lovely but it only last about 20 mins in an evening and very repetitive songs. Face painting was a nice touch and music by the main pool is nice. Food: really nice but sometimes cold. Lunch time is very samey but evening was lovely. Fish night is a challenge if you don’t like fish. Very clean and tidy all the time. Pools: really nice, no music at the kids pool but crepe station is great! Evening entertainment: really good shows if you can get a seat to actually see them through the plants. Ended up standing up a lot as couldn’t see at all. Reception: some of the staff are so kind and lovely but I did have the odd one that was outright rude. We had to change rooms and night staff didn’t want to know. Next day they were great and we got a better room. First room was tiny and not fit for a family. Al a carte: we were only able to go to one as we had children. It tasted amazing but no kids options at all or portion sizes reduced for kids. Coffee shop: so lovely but expensive. Coffee on all inclusive was drinkable but not great. Ladies in the coffee shop were amazing. Location: 20 mins walk from the beach, bus service if you want but times are a bit odd. Supermarket across the road as bottled water not included in AL. Tigaki is lovely and some great beach places- couldn’t even find uptopias as it was so far down. We paid €20 for three beds at banana beach section. Patron is also lovely and great for a drink and to watch the sunset on the beach. Taxis: go online and you can book them and see where the nearest one is. We got one to and from Kos with no problems. Jet skis on the beach were expensive for 10 minutes but beach is lovely. I would say utopia is mainly a German hotel. Not many English people not that it mattered but was hard for my daughter to get involved sometimes. Spa: I booked but then cancelled as we were going out and the guy was so rude, asked what the problem was, I explained and he put the phone down!
I would go back to Kos but not utopia as I feel it’s created for adults mainly and as a family probably not the best. However it’s spotless and lovely.
A beautiful couples massage from Ena and Phillipos A relaxing aromatherapy massage received by both myself and my husband, we frequent a lot of spas in most countries we go to, so it always a huge positive when you hear the snoring coming from the other bed, husband was very relaxed and very pleased with what he says is one of the best massages he's had. Likewise for myself, I felt like I had melted into the bed by the end. The facilities weren't used although we have been here before and they are lovely and serene overlooking the landscape at the back of the hotel. A gorgeous atmosphere, personalised care throughout Thank you so much A*
