- Tigaki Beach

Tigaki lies just a short 15-minute drive from the town centre of Kos in the northern part of the island, right by the 10-km-long stretch of white sandy beach. The shallow waters of the area make this hotel ideal for kids and an easy place where they can learn to swim and have fun in the waves. Build in the middle of a beautiful and well-tended garden it is a true sanctuary for a relaxed and tranquil family vacation. After spending the warm summer days at the beach or around the onsite swimming pool, guests can enjoy a delicious meal at the onsite restaurant or head to the beach tavern for some evening entertainment. The little guests can play in the special playground or enjoy the water at the separate children's pool.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
be very mindful when booking all inclusive here, as the alcohol isn’t included until after 6pm and only up until 11pm, outside of these hours you have to pay. Which is crazy to me! Very boring hotel, 0 entertainment and not even any music by the pools. Everyone seems to be back in their rooms by 11pm. Cocktails are watered down drastically! No selection in the buffet for kids so be aware of that! Even though I paid all inclusive I ended up going to the town most nights to eat and have abit more entertainment as the hotel was by far the worst all inclusive iv stayed in. Staff are nice, but everything else 1/10.
Booked a last minute holiday for some rest and relaxation, was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews before we came.
We stayed in the main building (paid to upgrade around £80) worth it as the annexe buildings look beautiful from the outside but upon speaking to people round the pool they are run down compared to the main building.
Our room was clean and modern perfect for what we need. Although we didn’t have a kettle and the hair dryer was broken. Wet room style bathroom, comfortable beds and beautiful balcony overlooking the mountains.
The pools and sun bathing areas are very nice. Two pools so lots of room. The pool we stayed around has a jacuzzi built in too. No fighting for sun beds but we did come just before the summer season.
Food was very nice which was the surprising part as the reviews were mixed. Always something to enjoy although very much the same most days. Salads, meats and cheese with a hot option too. The desserts were tasty. For all inclusive the drinks were a bit disappointing, beer, wine and soft drinks a plenty all day but spirts were only available from 6-11pm and some cocktails were chargeable at 5 euros each.
A 5 min walk from the hotel is the strip with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The beach was just across the road from the hotel, there is a charge for the sunbeds from 15-20 euros for the day.
We went in to Old Kos Town would definitely recommend very pretty lots of shops and bars. The port is nice if you go before 9am you can see all the island hopping boats they are all like old pirate ships. There was a bus service 2 euros each and about 45 mins but we got a taxi for 20 euros and only took 15 mins.
All in all I would definitely come back as it ticked all the boxes of a relaxing week in the sun.
Me and my partner stayed jun 2026.we just wanted to have a nice chill holiday as it was are first time to Kos.we loved it on the island.the hotel is very nice and clean rooms big enough food was fine for us both.the bar staff in the day young lad was very helpful.and the two men at night time are fantastic very friendly people.we got on well with them all.nice area closed to beach.all the hotel staff work very hard to keep it clean.not much entertainment at all to be honest and drinks like shorts not served until six o'clock.but we had a nice time we was on the beach every day so did not stay around the pool
After reading the reviews (after I booked the holiday) I was a little gutted. But this is ultimately why you should make your own opinion. We arrived late and were hungry and thirsty so was a little gutted as we knew everything was closed. Much to our delight we were told to go and take a seat at the bar and they brought out a lovely plate of cheese and meats, a bottle of water and a beer! Accessing the rooms was a little confusing and we entered what we called the ‘murder cupboard’ it was the cleaners room with old furniture with sheets on. Quite scary as you can imagine as we thought it was our room😂 we worked it out in the end though. The actual room was so clean and fresh smelling. Loads of plugs, kettle with tea and coffee, towels and hand soap. We had a beautiful view of the gardens on our balcony. And could barely hear our neighbors. The air con is free and sooooo good too. The only annoying thing in the room was the shower. The pressure is fab and the water supply is great but the shower head itself wouldn’t stay angled as we wanted it. Also the shower curtains barely went inside the bath so water was constantly getting on the floor. Towels were changed a couple of times a week too. Oh and you can also hire beach towels (€10 for the week) they appeared to change these too. There’s a cute little shop on site. Slightly more expensive than the strip but had all you needed like Lays, chocolates suntan lotion, cigarettes, goggles, tampax, water. The pool area is so clean and tidy and all 4 pools were very clean. The sunbeds are the comfiest I’ve ever had and plentiful. The beach is just at the end of the hotel driveway and a strip of shops and restaurants just further to the left. Food and drinks were ok I just wish that more snacks were available when you wanted or that you could at least order something different to eat when you wanted it. I didn’t always want a massive choice of lunch from the buffet, just a cheese And ham toasty or maybe a club sandwich or pizza. We only ate out once because the food is actually ok at the buffet. Loads of chances to try different things. It perhaps could have been warmer, but when you cater for so many people, what can you do? The staff in the food hall were so lovely and helpful and spoke really good English. The hotel also offers a shower room with towels for late check outs, which was great. You just need to book yourself a slot on the day you leave. You will need your toiletries and a hairdryer though. Oh talking about hairdryers, you would be best taking your own as my daughter said that it just basically blew weak warm air around 😂It was usable but not very effective. Over all this is probably one of the nicest places that I have stayed and we had such a relaxing time. All of the staff were so lovely and accommodating and would definitely go back.
The hotel grounds were beautiful and staff were great but it's definitely not a 4* hotel. Our rooms were horrendously dated and in need of serious renovation. We had a couple of issues in our room, firstly the safe wasn't working, then there was an ant problem. Both things were dealt with swiftly and the staff were great.
The food was fine, but the buffet isn't huge so not a lot of choice. Salads were good. We ate out a bit in the nearby restaurants which were lovely. Drinks on the AI again not the best.
Overall it was fine for a cheapy short break but wouldn't like to do a long stay here.
