What a brilliant resort, our rooms were spotless, all rooms are only two storeys high. Food selection excellent, something for everyone. Restaurant did get busy, but as a family of 6 we always found a table. All waiting staff brilliant, Sofia the restaurant manger kept everything flowing and was so kind to our little grandson. Pools excellent, nice to have an adults only pool. Entertainment team work so hard and the shows were very professional. Kos only 15 minutes away 15 Euro in a taxi. We had a day out on the pirate ship Captain Morgan, brilliant day out 25 Euro for adults. All in all an excellent family holiday, not sure I'd go as couple though, very much a family hotel.
Great experience. All the staff are very hard working and very tentative. I mean ALL of them and always are smiling and very approachable.
The kids entertainment is a great laugh and very engaging. The entertainment team is amazing with the kids.
Special mention to Flora at the reception bar and Nik, what a great asset White Olive have within their ranks. Very professional, her drink station and bar is spotless. I will miss the Palermo drinks and I would definitely return at some point.
Lastly, the hand made pizza's are a delight. Thank you to White Olive and all the staff.
We have just returned from an amazing stay at White Olive Marine Aquapark and couldn't have asked for a better family holiday. We travelled as a family of five with our three daughters (aged 12, 8 and 6), and it was perfect for all of us.
The hotel was spotless throughout our stay. Our family room was modern, spacious and beautifully decorated, with fresh towels provided every day. The food was excellent, with a great variety at every meal, so there was always something for everyone.
The pools and aquapark were fantastic and kept the children entertained for hours. They also loved the bowls, darts and all the activities organised by the entertainment team.
A special thank you to Sonia and the entire entertainment team. They were warm, friendly and so welcoming from the moment we arrived. They made such an effort with our girls, and the evening shows were brilliant and something we all looked forward to every night.
The location is wonderful, right on the beach, and it's easy to explore the island. We caught the local bus into Kos Town for just €2 each, which made for a lovely day out. We also booked the Blue Lagoon boat trip, which was absolutely fantastic and is well worth doing.
We genuinely couldn't fault this hotel. Everything from the staff, food and facilities to the atmosphere made it a memorable holiday. We would highly recommend White Olive Marine Aquapark to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing family holiday and would happily return ourselves. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Sonia, and the entertainment team were incredible, they were so kind and bubbly.
We stayed at the White Olive Marine for 11 nights as a family with two young boys.
Overall, we had a nice holiday, but there were several disappointments that future guests should be aware of.
The hotel and rooms were always clean and tidy, and the housekeeping staff did a good job throughout our stay. The location is beautiful, situated right on the beach, and the pool and waterslides were excellent. Our boys had an amazing time, and this was undoubtedly the highlight of the holiday.
It was also my partner's birthday during our stay, and the hotel kindly decorated our room with balloons and left us a bottle of wine. It was a thoughtful gesture that we genuinely appreciated.
The food was fairly basic. There was enough choice, but it became repetitive over the course of our 11-night stay.
One thing that disappointed us was the "all-inclusive" package. Several items that many people would expect to be included, such as poolside ice cream, iced coffees and a number of cocktails, all came at an additional cost. This made the all-inclusive experience feel quite misleading and poor value.
The evening entertainment was average at best. It was enough to pass an hour, but it certainly wasn't one of the hotel's strengths.
The gym was also extremely disappointing. The only treadmill was broken throughout our stay, and the only piece of weight training equipment, a basic multi-gym, was also broken. I had to request that it be repaired before it was usable. If having a gym is important to you, don't expect much from the facilities here.
Unfortunately, our biggest disappointment was that one of my vests, worth around £30, went missing during our stay. I clearly remember seeing it in my suitcase early in the holiday, but when I later went to wear it, it had disappeared. I waited until I got home and unpacked everything to make sure I hadn't simply misplaced it. After thoroughly checking all of our luggage, it was nowhere to be found.
I contacted the hotel after returning home, but despite them carrying out an investigation, they said they found no evidence of what had happened and declined to reimburse me. While I appreciate that they investigated, I was disappointed with both the outcome and the way my complaint was handled.
In their final email, the hotel also stated that if an online review explicitly accused the hotel or its staff of theft without proof, they would refer the matter to their legal team to protect the company's reputation. I understand their position, but I found this response disappointing, as I was simply trying to resolve what I believe was a genuine issue regarding a missing personal item.
Based on my experience, I would recommend keeping a close eye on your belongings and avoiding leaving anything in your room that you would be upset to lose.
Although we enjoyed spending time together as a family and our boys loved the pool and waterslides, the limited all-inclusive offering, poor gym facilities, average entertainment and the unresolved issue of my missing item mean that I would not recommend this hotel, and I would not return in the future.
