Kipriotis Panorama Hotel and Suites

Our experience with the Kipriotis chain proves that last-minute overbookings are a pattern here, not an isolated incident. Booking Issues & Overbooking: Last year (2025), just two days before our arrival at Kipriotis Maris, we were informed about an overbooking and relocated to another hotel. To compensate us, the hotel offered a complimentary one-week stay for the following year. We confirmed our booking for this year as early as February. Unbelievably, two days before our trip, we received another notification stating that there was no space for us once again and that we were being moved to Kipriotis Panorama. Upon arrival, we found out we were far from the only guests treated this way. Hotel Standard & Rooms: Although Kipriotis Panorama is officially rated similarly, the actual standard is noticeably worse. The rooms are badly in need of refurbishment, and the carpets in the rooms are in terrible condition. The only positive note goes to the housekeeping staff, who worked hard and did their absolute best despite the circumstances. Food & Health: The food throughout the stay was very repetitive. Unfortunately, after Wednesday's dinner, both my wife and I suffered severe food poisoning and spent the entire following day trapped in our room's bathroom. We reported the issue to the reception, but no one from the management or staff showed any concern or checked up on us. Summary: While we appreciate that the hotel honored last year's promise of a free stay, the unacceptable handling of bookings, lack of guest care, and poor food hygiene make it impossible to recommend. If you enjoy finding out your hotel has been changed two days before your vacation and risking food poisoning while away, feel free to take the risk. Otherwise, stay away.

A beautiful experience at the kipriotis spa today, I purchased a full body massage and the experience did not disappoint.

I had therapist olga and she made sure to take her time to understand how I wanted my treatment and even made sure to ask how I wanted the pressure to be and confirmed it was okay half way through the treatment

I came away feeling revived but also relaxed

We were scheduled to stay at the Kipriotis Hypocrites Hotel, which we had booked in February 26, but three day before travelling we were informed that that booking could not be honoured we were to be transferred to the Panorama, which was rated as 5* as opposed to the 4* we had booked, furthermore we were informed that we would be upgraded to a Junior Suite and afforded the ultra All Inclusive package, which we were elated about and gladly accepted. On arrival We were presently pleased by the appearance of the extensive lobby and reception area, but did comment that it was of a late 70s early 80s design. We were told that we had been further upgraded to an executive Suite on the 3 rd floor. On arrival in our appointed Suite, it was patiently obvious that the decor and fixtures were really dated, but must add were kept nicely clean. The bathroom has been adapted for disabled customers and both my wife and myself found using the toilet difficult due to the configuration of the seat. This room was a large suite but executive in name only. The redeeming factor was the comfyness of the extremely large bed. The cleaners worked extremely hard to make the room as cosy as possible. We had some problems with the room and had to make several journeys to reception to report these as the phone was not working and not repaired during the course of our stay. We personally found the reception staff were very professional and we contend them for their friendliness and approachable demeanor. The food wasn't commensurate expected off 5 star, but there was always something available that was acceptable, but the salads were really good. The staffing in the restaurant was obviously not up to strength to fulfil the needs of the number of guests, and their uniforms need upgrading soonest, or an Iron needs introducing to the laundry department. The drinks served at all bars were beyond reproach as were the bar staff. The pools were excellent and well kept. In summery, we had a lovely week in Kos and we had some lovely evenings in the hotel. But we did feel we needed a better quality of food and chose to eat out on occasions in Town. This hotel needs extensive renovations to climb back to its 5 star billing and the longer time elapses until this happens, the harder it will be too gain popularity.
