Located in one of the most convenient areas of Kos, the hotel is just 50 m from the sandy Lambi beach, 4 km from the centre of Kos town and the harbour, whilst the shopping centre is 2 km away. The hotel is also some 24 km from the airport. It enjoys magnificent views of the Aegean Sea. Guests can relax and unwind with drinks in the lobby bar and poolside bar. The hotel also has a beautiful chapel, the perfect setting for a wedding or religious celebration. All modern and luxurious rooms, suites and maisonettes enjoy superb garden, pool or sea views from the balcony or terrace. Guests can also relax in the hotel SPA, which is one of the largest in Kos. There are also tennis / basketballcourts , as well as an outdoor pool area.

Would not recommend this hotel
Big sign by swimming pool steps stating no inflatable’s allowed which was such a shame as this would have been very relaxing. Another guest I was talking to also said this was such a shame as she liked to use her float on holiday, inflatables are sold in on site shop but I presume these are for use in the sea maybe ? No hot meal on arrival just a jar of tomatoes, cucumber, 3 olives and 4 bits of feta, have been informed by hotel that this was because I had “made my own travel arrangements” ! I booked a package holiday through TUI and would have expected a much better meal after travelling all day (this is usually the case in all other hotels I have stayed in) Swim up room was very disappointing (just went into main pool so not much privacy) and only one carton of water was supplied on arrival after that you had to buy water (even in the restaurant at night) most penny pinching as this is normal standard provision in all other hotels I have stayed in. Would not recommend this hotel.

A beautiful gem found in Lambi, Kos.
The Diamond deluxe hotel is set in a peaceful location, near a private beach with plenty of comfortable sun loungers to relax & soak up the rays. Outside the front of the building is a bus stop, where you can hop on a bus for a short ride to Kos town. On our arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome from Maria & the reception team. The grounds, buildings & gardens were very well maintained & looked beautiful & classy. Our swim up room was modern, stylish & spotlessly clean. During our stay we had an issue with pigeons outside our room near the pool;Maria went above & beyond to resolve the matter. All the staff were friendly, helpful & professional, especially Charisa, Zeitzan & the restaurant teams. We were greeted each meal time with a welcoming smile & chat by Sofia. The food at both restaurants was amazing. In the evenings, gorgeous sunsets were often seen from the rooftop restaurant Perrizi, giving a very romantic atmosphere. This is our second year at this hotel & would certainly recommend it 😀

Perfect!
We were moved to Diamond Deluxe Hotel & Spa once arriving at our original hotel in Kos as there was a maintenance issue that could not be fixed immediately. At first we were a little reluctant as we wanted to stay at the same hotel as we did the previous year...BUT...once we arrived at Diamond Deluxe we did not want to leave. By far the best hotel we have stayed at to date in Kos. The hotel was beautiful, the room was spacious with perfect working air con, fridge to keep drinks cold and a very comfy bed! we slept very very well. Breakfast and tea was amazing with unlimited choice at breakfast and a very decent choice for tea. The staff especially the waiters and waitresses and a certain lady at reception whose name we can not remember were incredibly friendly and helpful. The cleaners were 5*****!!! Onsite shop for essentials or little cute gifts. There was just the right entertainment for this kind of hotel. Nothing too loud and too much. The hotel itself was little further than we thought from Kos centre but we rented bikes every day from the hotel which was cheap and easy it took us only 15/20 mins to get to where we wanted to be (the bike ride was just beautiful riding right by the sea and bike path was great. We could not have asked for anymore and did not want to leave. Thank you to all and we would absolutely love to return again in the future.
Not Five Star
It’s quite remote. At least five kilometres from town. Bus stops outside the hotel but not very frequent. We took taxi back. Our hotel room had no hooks whatsoever in the room/bathroom so nowhere to hang our robes or towels. When we mentioned this to reception we were told we should have a ladder which we did not. We asked twice for this ladder. Eventually got one the second day. No bidet. Very little storage space in wardrobe but a huge cabinet for a nespresso machine and pull out fridge. No mini bar. No water delivered daily. We had to buy it from their shop. All the swimming pools were freezing. Not even the one in the spa was heated. The small beach opposite was extremely windy. We were unable to enter the sea as there were too many large pebbles and seaweed. The gym didn’t open until 9am and closed at 6pm. TV did not have any English channels ie. CNN or Sky. No ‘turn down’ service in the evening. On the positive side all staff in restaurant and spa were very friendly. Breakfast and dinner adequate. In my large travelling experience and having frequented many five star hotels in Europe and around the world this hotel should be demoted to a three star hotel. And Jet2 has a responsibility of making sure that it has the requirement of a five star hotel.

It’s a Diamond!
This was our second visit .. first one 12 years ago. It was great then, but, amazing now. Wonderful welcome from concierge at arrival, suitcases whisked away. Very warm welcome from reception and complimentary drink. Registration and information re hotel was excellent and we were upgraded re our room . (214)
Room was super clean, and had a great view of the pool area. Balcony was a bit small, but enough room to have a glass of wine of an evening.
Breakfast was buffet , but freshly cooked eggs in variety of different ways were available. Great selection of yoghurts, breads and fruit. Great welcome by the very hardworking staff who served, coffee etc.
Evening meal, was waiter service , ordered what you wanted from a good selection on the menu and the food was bought out to you. Very well cooked , presented and lots of choice.
Pool area and pools were amazing, super clean and no hassle re getting a sunbed. This may have been as it was coming to end of the season and the hotel was not full. But, even so there was plenty. Sun beds on beach opposite the hotel.
The hotel itself was extremely clean and well looked after, gardens well maintained.
There was no activities at this hotel, apart from music at pool bar and occasional DJ of an evening. All very quiet and relaxing.
If you want to go into Kos Town, it takes about 45 minutes on a lovely scenic walk, but there is also a regular bus service, or of course hire bikes, which are plentiful and at times dangerous if you get in there way!
Did not use the Spa, so can nit comment on that.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and it’s certainly worth the 5 star rating.
