This city hotel has the ideal location in the centre. Overlooking the harbor, exquisite views of the many traditional wooden ships anchoring there can be enjoyed from most rooms. Both the beach and the bus station are within walking distance. The hotel is a perfect starting point for those who want to explore the beautiful island of Kos. Guests can relax in the outdoor swimming pool located on the roof which offers a unique view of the medieval castle of the 13th century. The centre of the town can be reached within a few minutes, where visitors can find the best taverns and nightclubs.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel has a great location. The pool has great views and it is great to relax by on the day you leave. Staff is helpful. Room was clean, the bathroom and shower are a bit dated. The hotel gave me a quiet room as requested. All in all a good experience.
Absolutely fab hotel right on the port great views the staff were all amazing from the reception people to the bar staff the breakfast lady and all the staff the pool bar girl honestly could not fault this hotel, clean and very welcoming
Been to Kosta Palace many times, stayed in basic harbour view and superior view which are fine, but have stayed in the Panorama Room twice once as a lone female and as a couple and would recommend it for the extra money. Nice and quiet, only the five rooms on the top, close to the pool and snack bar and very private with lovely views. Only negative was a frosted door to the bathroom which let in a lot of light early morning. Smoking at breakfast on the veranda also not so nice but understand we have been used to having no smoking in UK. Staff are lovely, especially Hygerta on reception. Breakfast is very nice and extensive, new manager also very interested and likes to check in when you have made a review online at the hotel. Hoping to book again for October. Hygerta I will be in touch !
Great place to stay. Staff really good, location really good. Hotel very clean
Checked in, yes we had booked a loft room, give key to room 18, omg what a dull dingy I'm thought I was in a dungeon, on entering the "living room" was down stairs, it consisted of tiny coffee table and 2 not very comfortable chairs, the bathroom was here too along with the wardrobes, kettle small fridge, ( old takeaway was left in fridge 🤮 ) etc, patio area looked out on street very dark no sun here! Then up the spiral staircase which was quite steep into bedroo which was big enough, double bed and dressing table and chair, very blank and bleak, i absolutely hated it went to reception to see if I could upgrade but couldn't till next day as they were busy, didn't bother unpacking next day the only room available was a business superior double room with veiw of the harbour at a cost of £40 euros extra per night so paid the £240 euros n changed, tbh I don't know what was superior, yes decor was nice, view was lovely but not a lot to make it superior, a printer, a exercise bike oh n slippers, staff were ok not as pleasant as I'd read about apart from the barman he was lovely always had a chat n joke, pool area was nice and girl seeing at the snack bar was lovely, would I return? The jury is out on that one if I did it would be for the beautiful veiw.
