Ikos Aria

This was our fourth visit to an Ikos resort, the first three being to Andalucia, and our first visit to Aria, and the entire holiday can only be described as absolutely Outstanding! We arrived early afternoon and the check in process was easy and seamless and we were fortunate that our room was ready for us. This allowed us to unpack and use room service and within an hour of arriving we were relaxing in our garden, eating superb food and sipping champagne. What a Start!

The room we had was a deluxe Junior Suite with a private garden and pool view, and came with all the usual amenities and was of a fantastic size both inside and out.

Our usual haunt during each day was the deluxe pool, and there were more than ample and available sun beds each day, the service and assistance from all the team was attentive and excellent and they all took time to chat with us during every interaction. The pool temperature was around 28 degrees each day, which made it very enjoyable for swimming and just sitting around in the water.

It is a larger resort than Andalucia, and probably at least twice the size, however it did allow my wife and I to enjoy some good walks around the resort, taking in the beautiful views and well maintained gardens, with the added benefit of plenty of hydration stops of an alcoholic nature to ensure we did not suffer from the heat! Kastri Island is a beautiful focal point and a well photographed landmark situated opposite the resort, and you can indeed make the journey from the resort in various way’s, to the Island.

We enjoyed a seven day stay, and ate in all seven of the à la carte restaurants, either for dinner or breakfast/lunch, celebrated our Wedding Anniversary with a dinner by the sea, and also utilised the buffet restaurant, Flavours, and all the food, service, locations and ambience was excellent. We do have a stand out favourite restaurant and that is Ouzo. This restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, led by restaurant manager Vangelis, whom along with his team just made our stay extra special.

Every member of staff at Ikos Aria deliver fantastic Customer service and appear to genuinely enjoy their roles and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time talking with each and everyone we interacted with. Notwithstanding this, the following team members deserve special mention and recognition for making our stay the best and so memorable.

Thomas, our deluxe collection Manager, who organised so much for us, ably assisted by Anna. Katerina, at the security office, we enjoyed our chats every night. Nikos and Greta @ Provence. Joanna @ Oliva, she was very funny. Theodora, the sommelier for the lovely wines you chose for us. Paola @ the lobby bar. Magda and Dimitris @ deluxe pool. Lastly, but by no means least another extra special thank you goes to Vangellis, restaurant Manager at Ouzo, who really looked after us throughout our stay. Along with his team, Alex, executive chef, Giorgos 19 and Giorgos 21 ( this was their ages as they both celebrated their birthdays on the same day), Igli, Jugen, and Marios made this our favourite restaurant as I have already stated.

Overall, we enjoyed this stay so much that we have already booked again, to return next year. Thank you!

Just returned from a week stay

Check in was very late about 12.30am but was seamless and informative.

Sun beds were plentiful and never had to get up early for a bed , service at the beach pool bar was perfect morning and afternoon.

Made our way through most of the cocktail menu and most were great .

Food we enjoyed most our least favourite was Anaya which was such a shame as in other Ikos it was our favourite. The food just wasn’t good maybe we were unlikely.

Service in all the restaurants were superb apart from Kos , we walked out before desert as it was cold (very windy day) and had waited over an hour for our mains. Our favourite food was probably Olivia and Ouzo.

Evening Entertainment was okay but not great, it’s always pretty much the same at Ikos and it’s the one thing we wish was improved as we usually like to stay up but by 11 everything has finished , but we love the Ikos brand so will not let that deter us.

This was our third Ikos and Aria is probably our joint favoutire with Dassia .

The entire resort is exceptionally clean, pristine, and relaxing, providing the perfect peaceful backdrop for a luxury getaway.

The service here truly sets a new standard. Our highest compliments go to the management team. They are clearly very good at their job, and their exceptional leadership shows not only around the beautiful resort but also in the outstanding calmness and professionalism of their staff members.

In fact, every single member of the staff is amazing—calm, friendly, and deeply professional, ensuring you never have to lift a finger. We actually feel bad only mentioning a few names because every single staff member—from cleaning, stocking, restaurants, bars, and everywhere in between—has been absolutely incredible. We simply do not know all of their names!

With that said, we do want to give a few highly deserved special mentions to the team members who made our stay unforgettable:

Claudiu at the restaurant, who provided flawless and attentive dining service.

Rizwan at Seasons who constantly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Vlad at the nightclub, who was absolutely amazing and kept the energy fantastic.

Vasilis at the sports centre who has been incredibly patient and helpful with our son. So much care and dedication, he has definitely left an impression.
