Very Good Hotel
A very good hotel in close proximity to the airport. We had a garden room(704) which is a bit dated but was fine. The garden however was more mud & weeds than garden. Red wine in the mini was not nice but the white & rosy was ok. Food in the buffet restaurant was good but as with all AI hotels becomes repetative. We ate at the Greek, Pan Asian & American and they were all equally good. I advise you to book up as soon as you get to the hotel. You can also email hotel to do this before you get there. We also got the bus into the local town which was 2 euro and took 5min. We went to a local restaurant and had a meal & drinks for 50 euro's. Some of the entertainment in hotel was excellent. Read some reviews on big queues which is nonsense. The hotel was full and we didnt queue for any longer than a few min. Staff are amazing and work incredibly hard always with a smile. We used the pool nearest our room. Quite deep @ 1.8m. Very refreshing tempreture. The beach wasnt for us but it was packed. Loads of sunbeds. We didnt like the grit/stones. Read about the Gyros cabin on the beach so we tried it but meat looked raw so didnt risk it. All the drinks we had were good. If i picked a fault it would be they used too much ice so didnt take long to drink. Street food was ok. Nice Crepes. Perfect place for kids. They will want for nothing.

We had the most amazing stay at Mitsis Blue Domes Resort. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations.
The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, with so many pools that are always spotless and well maintained. There was never any problem finding somewhere to relax. The beach is stunning too, with crystal clear water where you can even see little fish swimming around your legs. There were always plenty of sunbeds available, and they were cleaned every morning, which really showed the attention to detail.
The food was outstanding, with an incredible choice of restaurants, all serving food to a very high standard. We especially loved the sweets and fresh fruit corner, which was always beautifully presented and full of delicious treats and fresh produce throughout the day. The gyros on the beach was always fresh, hot, and delicious. The young man making it clearly knows how to cook, although a smile and a bit more interaction with guests would make the experience even better.
We stayed in Room 541 with a sharing pool, and it was absolutely perfect. It made our holiday even more special.
What really made our holiday unforgettable, though, was the incredible staff. Every single member of the team worked so hard every day, yet they always greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel so welcome. Their kindness, professionalism, and positive attitude never went unnoticed. They are the true heroes of this resort and are the reason so many guests leave with unforgettable memories.
A special mention has to go to the housekeeping team. They did an outstanding job every single day our room looked and felt brand new each time we returned. It was always spotless, fresh, and beautifully presented, and their hard work really added to our experience.
We’d also like to give a huge thank you to the lovely bar lady who looked after our area around Room 541. She had a ponytail and was always wearing sunglasses, and she did an outstanding job keeping us refreshed with drinks while also making sure our porch was kept clean and tidy. She was always smiling, friendly, and worked incredibly hard throughout the day. She really deserves recognition for the fantastic service she provided.
Another special mention goes to the amazing chefs and the ladies at the grill station. They are absolute machines! No matter how busy it got, they kept everything running smoothly while always staying happy, smiling, and full of energy. They worked tirelessly to make sure everyone was looked after, and the quality of the food they produced was outstanding. Their passion and dedication really shone through every single day.
And finally, the biggest thank you goes to Stamatia. What an incredible lady! She is full of energy, passion, and genuinely loves what she does. Every single morning she welcomed us with the biggest smile and always made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. She went above and beyond to make our holiday special, and our kids absolutely adored her. She is a true credit to Mitsis Blue Domes. If anyone deserves a medal, it’s Stamatia and she deserves her picture hanging proudly in the main hall for the outstanding job she does every single day!
We’ll be sharing photos of these amazing people because they truly deserve the recognition for everything they do. Thank you to every single member of staff at Mitsis Blue Domes for making our holiday unforgettable. We have made memories that will stay with us forever, and we can’t wait to come back. ❤️

Beautiful resort
We had a wonderful stay at Mitsis Blue Domes. The location is beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. If you’re looking for a lively party destination, this probably isn’t the place for you. However, if you want a relaxing holiday with family or as a couple, it’s perfect.
The restaurants were excellent, with delicious food and plenty of choice. My advice is to book the à la carte restaurants as early as possible, as spaces are limited. If you can’t get a reservation, it’s due to high demand and limited capacity—not because of poor organisation by the hotel.
The staff were friendly and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. Rather than looking for tiny faults, just relax and enjoy everything the resort has to offer. We had a fantastic time and would happily return. Kids are already asking to get back.
Very disappointed – not the 5-star experience we expected
We booked a 4-night stay at Mitsis Blue Domes, but checked out after only a few hours and had to pay an extra €900 for alternative accommodation because we felt we couldn't spend our holiday there.
Our biggest disappointment was that the resort did not look like the photos used to advertise it. In our opinion, the hotel and grounds appeared tired and in need of maintenance, and it did not resemble the 5-star luxury resort we were expecting.
Another major issue was the dining. When we arrived, every à la carte restaurant was fully booked for the duration of our stay, meaning the buffet was the only option. We were never informed before arrival that restaurant reservations needed to be made well in advance. Had we known this, we would have booked them before travelling. Finding somewhere to relax was also extremely difficult. Every sunbed around the pools and beach was occupied, leaving nowhere to sit except on the ground. On top of that, the queues for food and drinks were consistently very long, which was frustrating and not how we wanted to spend our holiday.
Within two hours of arriving, I raised all of these concerns with reception and explained that we wanted to leave. To be fair, the hotel did offer assistance with restaurant reservations and also offered to move us to their sister hotel, Mitsis Summer Palace. However, by that stage we had completely lost confidence that the holiday would meet our expectations and decided to book another hotel instead. Unfortunately, the hotel refused to refund the unused three nights of our stay despite us leaving on the first day.
Everyone's expectations are different, but based on our experience, Mitsis Blue Domes did not deliver the 5-star experience we were expecting. Between the condition of the resort, lack of restaurant availability, overcrowding, and long queues, we felt the hotel was poor value for money. Sadly, we would not return or recommend it.
