Great Chilled Out Family Holiday (with teens)
Hotel is in a great location across the road from the beach (partial sea view from the bar but can’t see the beach from the pool as it’s obscured by another hotel), also ideally located for bars and shops a short walk away. Hotel has a nice vibe to it, chilled out during the day, though sometimes the pool music drones on a bit. A little entertainment in the evening but finished no later than 11, otherwise no disruption. The rooms are smaller with not loads of storage space which felt like it might be a problem but we barely sparely spent much time in the room over 11 nights so wasn’t a problem at all. The rooms themselves are nicely furnished and feel modern, Air Con is great, beds are comfortable. We thought value was good, would agree with the reviews that the hotel is perhaps not quite 5 star (eg unbranded spirits) but a good 4 star and was priced fairly for what you got. Cleanliness was excellent, though some of the sun beds need repairing. Maid service was very good and service on the whole was excellent (5* Service) staff were friendly and helpful, had an issue with shower draining was sorted within 30 minutes. One gripe, some days but not all there aren’t quite enough sunbeds for the venue so you need to be down early to be 100% sure to get beds, there are beds on the beach but this fills up too and seems to allow non-guests. Hotel does have rules about reserving beds and leaving towels but not really enforced until you make a complaint, then they will remove towels left on a bed which is fair. Food at all inclusive was very good, not quite 5*, but loads of choice at all mealtimes, didn’t have any problems with cold food but it is buffet so maybe some of the other reviews had bad timing. Bar cocktails are a good range but can tell they are not branded, the Mojitos were really good though. Whilst it’s not adult only officially it kind of felt like it is, there were a few small kids when we were there which was fine but if there were more because of the size of the hotel it might have have been a problem as it’s only a small pool area with small bar, not really enough space to occupy lots of smaller children, though there are 2 pools one of which is adult only. Overall really nice hotel, reasonable value, great location and staff, recommended.

Our second time to Cabana Blu wow from the moment we arrived, everyone was so kind, friendly and welcoming, and honestly the staff made our stay even more special. A big thank you to Viva and Konstantina at reception they were amazing and went out of their way to make my husbands birthday extra special by providing a cake and champagne to our room which was lovely. Everyone was genuinely lovely and made us feel so comfortable, which is something you really appreciate when you’re on holiday. This hotel is such a beautiful place with such a nice atmosphere, but the people are what really make it special. Thank you for everything and hopefully see you again soon! 🥂
The most beautiful day as a guest at the hotel
We didn’t stay at the hotel, but we spent a day at Cabana Blu enjoying the pool and brunch, and honestly, we had a great time. The drinks were really good quality and the food was absolutely delicious. I also tried the shisha, which was really nice and good quality.
Our waiter was very friendly, polite and helpful, which made the experience even better. Everything looked beautiful and well taken care of. We’re definitely thinking of booking a stay next year because the hotel looks amazing. Can’t wait to come back!
No 1 choice
This was my third time visiting the island, and this year my friend and I decided to stay at a smaller hotel, which turned out to be one of the best choices we could have made!The food was honestly amazing, with a great variety at the buffet and everything we tried being really tasty. The à la carte restaurants were all wonderful and definitely worth trying. The drinks were also very good, and a special mention to the bartenders, who even remembered our orders after a few days!The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and we always felt comfortable and well taken care of. We also had some really lovely and interesting conversations with the girls there, which made our stay feel even more personal and special.Overall, we had such a wonderful time at Cabana Blu. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks and especially the people made our stay truly memorable. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend it!
