This fantastic beach resort is nestled on a hill and provides its guests with amazing panoramic sea views. Located on the east coast of Kefalonia, the hotel is secluded form the main vibrant areas of Skala town, 3km from the premises. A number of local bars and restaurants are reachable within walking distance. Argostoli, is approximately 37 km away.

Not a 5 star but pleasant stay.
Just enjoyed a lovely relaxing week here, I have been to many 5 star resorts and this was definitely not 5 star for me....maybe a 4. Positives: The view was beautiful. The pool is huge, clean with lots of sun beds available. At the bottom of the steep hill is a little cove perfect for snorkeling. Staff were ALL so friendly and helpful. They all work extremely hard and are an asset to the place. Our room was spacious with a powerful shower, great air con and a big balcony with a lovely pool and sea view. If you want a chilled relaxing holiday then the location is perfect. Negatives: There are no bars, shops or anything within walking distance. Skala is around a 50 minute walk though the hotel offer a shuttle service during the day and a taxi is only €8. Our room was very dusty on arrival, the edges of the flooring were thick with dust and hair. The toilet had urine and faeces on the seat. Towels were changed twice and bedding only once during our stay. My husband stupidly left his ear pods by the pool, we went back and they had gone. Now we had been sat on our balcony and the only person there was the pool cleaner. He denied seeing them. We checked daily with reception and pool staff and nothing. 3 days later my husband asked the pool cleaner again and yes he had them! We knew he had! He must have realised they were no use to him as had been reported as lost/stolen. My husband gave him some euros for handing them in finally as we were just relieved he got them back. My husbands fault entirely but tarred our trust.

Fantastic location
Our family of 8 including 3 children arrived late at night and the only food on offer were some soggy salad rolls that had obviously been made in the morning. We had to pay for these as we were half board. The staff tried their best and brought out a plate of cold chips and salad, then a plate of watermelon.
We were taken to our rooms and were not pleased when we saw them. They were dated and had been furnished cheaply. The worst thing was the fact that they were quite dirty. Certainly not worthy of a 4.5/ 5 star rating.
We contacted our Jet2 rep the next morning and he came to the hotel. He viewed our rooms and agreed that they were certainly below standard. He took many photos and contacted his area manager who arrived soon after.
The hotel agreed to move us to better rooms, which were certainly a great improvement but still below the standard that we would expect. They even offered to upgrade us to an all inclusive package!
The breakfast was good but we would have appreciated more fresh fruit. Most of it was tinned. Lunch and dinner were very good with a huge selection of food on offer.
The location is stunning and the gardens beautiful and well maintained.
Fresh pool towels obtained from reception are only allowed every 3 days!
The staff are friendly and helpful and they made our stay very enjoyable.
The reception area was stuffy as the air conditioning was not very effective. We saw the events manager surreptitiously spritzing the furniture.
Throughout our entire stay there were dead ants in the corner of the bathroom which was not properly cleaned.
On the lawn outside our room a dog had left a mess. We requested that it be moved on multiple occasions but it remained.
We really did enjoy our holiday in spite of the setbacks but this hotel needs to improve certain aspects to be worthy of its rating.

10 great days at Apostolata Resort!
We had such an amazing time at the Apostolata Resort. The room was great, we had a beautiful view of the main pool and then of the sea which was one of the highlights of the trip for me. However, the main aspect of the hotel that I loved the most was the staff. Every single department within the hotel was flawless. The ladies at the reception desk were ALL friendly, welcoming and more than happy to help you with anything you needed. The bar staff were very attentive, and excellent at their job. Same with everyone at the main restaurant & pool side restaurant. At the pool side restaurant, the main lady in charge (unsure of her name) was polite and friendly, and great at her job. The cleaners were outstanding, our rooms were flawless in regards to cleanliness. Last, but certainly not least was Nikita & Lee the girls doing Daytime & Evening Entertainment. The girls were full of energy, and you could absolutely see how hard they BOTH were trying to get everyone involved. From Aqua Aerobics & Water Polo in the day to Games Nights & Discos in the evening the entertainers were outstanding at their jobs, especially as they were carrying the energy all day. We all appreciated their efforts to get to know us all, something we had never had before with entertainers in the past, their friendly nature made them very likeable and made you want to join in. Thank you both girls! Our only fault would potentially be for people to consider the distance from the hotel to skala, you do need to get a taxi or use the free shuttle to get into town. As the walk is impossible in the heat - this is not a major issue however as the hotel do offer transport throughout the day with a super nice driver who gave great insight into Skala and what we could up to. Excellent all round !
It was an Awesome experience
We had a wonderful time visiting this resort for the first time. All of the staff were helpful and friendly.
I especially loved the young girl “Niki” at the swimming pool area. She was
an AWESOME Lifeguard and took care of Everyone young and old. It’s obvious that she loves her job. She took the time to help Everyone, young and old, at the pool area. The pool aerobics was so much fun. Niki made our stay here more enjoyable because she really cared for everyone.
It’s really hard to find dedicated people like Niki. We look forward to coming again. We wish you much success in the future.

Fantastic, amazing staff!
This hotel is fantastic, we came with our 2 year old Milo and the staff went out of there way to be kind to him. The breakfast and Dinner staff was lovely and the food was great there was plenty of choice each night. The pool is great with a special mention to Nikki the lifeguard who was a star on our holiday and always went out of her way to make sure Milo was OK in the pool and surrounding area she's a superstar! We spent a lot of time on the play area for children as my 2 year old loved it. The snack bar lady who wore white and did dinner service too was amazing and also so lovely to my son! Well done to all the staff. Our room was great and the shower was amazing! Thanks to the room cleaner lady who was lovely every morning and always did a great job. The views from our room was excellent could see the boats passing by on the sea all the time even sat on the bed. The bus from the hotel to Scala is great and the driver is lovely. Overall a fantastic hotel but the shining stars are the staff. Thank you all
