Right on the Blue Flag beach at the end of the Rethymno promenade overlooking the Cretan Sea, 5-star Aegean Pearl provides stylish rooms and a Greek breakfast. The room you gave me for 3 people is very small and not suitable at all, the bathroom is open space and not suitable for a family with a 14 year old child, I do not recommend this type of room, the coffee in the room from the espresso machine is extra (embarrassing for a 5 star hotel), the air conditioning works when it wants to, the pools are overcrowded, the food is about ok and the attitude of the employees is pathetic!!!! I do not recommend this hotel plus it is overpriced for what it offers.
Overall a wonderful relaxing holiday and would definetely stay again.
Lovely hotel situated across the road from a beautiful beach. It's situated about one mile walk along the promenade from rethymno town. If that is too far there is a taxi rank a few yards from the hotel entrance. The hotel staff were friendly and very welcoming.Nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was varied and plentiful. No need to eat the same meal everyday. The staff were extra helpful and a special mention for Popi who looked after us very well.
Best massage I've ever had
The people are very friendly, the atmosphere is refreshing. A superb location from the hotel where it is easily accessible. The quality of the massage was superb and would highly recommend it
Lovely hotel
Location was ideal very close to the beach. Taking a taxi into the main town was very cheap but also walking was not too far (approximately 20 minutes. Good atmosphere, older adult vibe, peaceful and quiet area. Rooms are very clean and tidy however note the bathroom is not separate. There are doors for the shower and toilet but they do not have a lock and the sink is part of the main bedroom. Iron available on request. Staff very friendly and helpful. There was a helpful hotel concierge who helped us to plan day trips. Food was nice but not in keeping with the quality of a five star hotel in terms of variety, taste and presentation. The food was still very good just not five star. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Rooms are being properly cleaned every day, as a neat freak I’m always happy to have that, especially in a 5 star hotel.
Breakfast and dinner is buffet style with a great selection of Greek traditional food and delicious international ones. All tastes fabulous!

Ps: yes, they do have an open bathroom, which is clearly stated in every picture on the website and in the description everywhere. It was not a problem at all. We knew what we came for.
