Fantastic hotel with excellent value for money. The structure is beautiful, super clean and perfect for families.
A huge compliment to all the staff: extremely polite, professional and super accommodating. From hospitality to kindness, for any request we had they were always super efficient, helpful and with a smile.
And a special thank you to Nino from the animation team! She is an exceptional entertainer - so lovely, kind, funny and full of contagious enthusiasm. Our daughters couldn't wait to join activities with her every day. She made them feel special and they had so much fun. You can really see she loves her job and she was the highlight of our holiday!
We highly recommend Sunrise Village for a peaceful, relaxing and happy holiday with family, especially with small children and friends. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Vacation!!!
Perfect Vacation at Sunrise Village Hotel
We spent a week at the Sunrise Village Hotel in Crete and were absolutely delighted with our experience.
From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay.
The resort is very well maintained, and the swimming pool was one of the highlights of our vacation. It was perfect for adults looking to relax while also providing plenty of fun for the children, who enjoyed it every day.
We stayed in a spotless two-story maisonette that was spacious, comfortable, and ideal for our family. We especially appreciated having two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, which made our stay even more convenient.
The food was excellent throughout the week, with a great variety of dishes and themed evenings every night that made each dinner unique and enjoyable.
The all-inclusive package was truly outstanding, including breakfast, lunch, dinner. Snacks, ice cream, and granita available during the afternoon at the pool bar. What amazed us most was that both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails were included until 10:00 PM, which made the experience even more enjoyable. On the days we spent at the beach, the hotel even provided us with a packed lunch in a cooler bag, allowing us to enjoy our day without having to return for lunch. This level of service and attention to guests was exceptional. They were absolutely fantastic!
The additional services were also outstanding. We particularly appreciated the possibility of free renting beach towels and umbrellas, as well as the excellent organization of our tour to Balos, which allowed us to enjoy one of the most beautiful experiences of our holiday without any worries.
A special mention goes to the entertainer Nino, who was simply amazing. From the very first day, she won over our children, who adored her and enthusiastically joined every activity she organized throughout the entire vacation. Her energy, kindness, and ability to engage the kids made a huge difference and helped make our stay truly unforgettable.
We would like to thank the entire Sunrise Village Hotel staff for their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. We highly recommend this hotel to families and anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and well-organized holiday in Crete. We hope to come back soon!!!
Lovely quiet hotel
A lovely quiet hotel with friendly staff . Spacious apartment on second floor which was very clean and comfortable and had lovely views unfortunately during our stay our view was of stormy sea . The weather did not detract from our stay however as we enjoyed the food and drinks . Would have loved to have got use of the pool bar Mother Nature was against us on this visit !

A family hotel that gives a warm welcome
The location is a little out of town 10minute walk to shops and restaurants down a hill .The hotel is very clean and the owners should be proud of its very friendly staff and lovely rooms .The only downfall are the amount of steps and a slope to get to all the rooms so anyone with walking or disability would find it difficult .The food is well displayed and tasty but could be hotter .My personal opinion the Hotel deserves 3+ for its friendliness cleanliness and being small gives a welcoming experience for all nationalities that can mix together and feel they. can enjoy a very good hotel that gives all there guest a wonderful experience of Crete hospitality.The owners are always about so stop and have a conversation with them .

A late break in the sun
we decided on this location based on the previous reviews The hotel is located on a road a short walk from the main road through the town which was via an unlit alleyway
the reception was welcoming and an explanation of where everything was.
One downside top the site is the number of stairs. we were located in room 504 which was accessed by an external stairs case located above the reception area. The pool, bar and restaurant was on a lower level which meant that two sets of external stairs had to be negotiated each time. These became very slippery when it rained as they were marble. This was further exacerbated as the rainwater downpipe discharged directly across the steps.
The room was clean and tidy but the walk-in shower was subject to fluctuations in pressure and temperature.
Maid service was daily and regular changes of towels.
The restaurant was a little disappointing in that the arrangement of the tables tended to be for larger groups and not conducive to couples. The buffet was generous if a little repetitive. Some of the theme nights didn't offer a large selection around the theme particularly the Asian night As this was the last week the hotel was open this may have had an influence on the choices
The hotel met our needs but anyone with access needs should be aware on the limitations around the site.
