A wonderful 10 day stay, the food at this hotel is stunning 6 excellent restaurants the quality exceeded our expectations, even the buffet was very good, a wonderful wine room to enjoy tasting or just to go in a get a glass of something special to accompany a course, the drinks at the hotel do not feel all inclusive, they are all branded the cocktails are properly mixed and the service both bars restaurant and pool side is attentive and generous, you do not feel like you are at an all inclusive hotel it feels very much al a carte, my only tiny moan is that they are very strict about reserving loungers in the morning even for a 20 min breakfast, which means you have to choose between a breakfast alone and done in shifts , while one sits on a lounger or not getting loungers by the pool, in theory you should be able to get a lounger but people choose to have one person sit on the lounger while the other has breakfast and then swap so if you dont do this you are very unlikely to get a lounger by the pool, I understand why they do this but it doesn't seem to cause problems in other high end hotels so I would change this, but it did not spoil our holiday, we had an amazing time, thank you.
Very high standard
We just spent 10 days at this hotel. It was incredible. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were amazing. Everything you need is catered for. The food in the resturants was great and yhe poolside food was great quality. Thoroughly enjoyed this holiday with our three kids. They had a blast and the kids pool and kids club was great. The kids pool has a covering providing nice shade. Everything is in close proximity so not a huge amount of walking to get around the hotel or to the beach. Will definitely be back.
Beautiful Hotel with Stunning Sunset Views
A beautiful, clean, and elegant hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We truly enjoyed our stay, and our vacation exceeded our expectations.
A special thank you to Nikolai for his outstanding service and for taking such great care of us throughout our stay. He made our vacation even more enjoyable. We would also like to compliment the entire hotel team for their kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality.
There are fewer sunbeds around the pool, but they are absolutely worth it. They are incredibly comfortable private daybeds that offer plenty of space and privacy. If the pool area is full, there are always plenty of sunbeds available on the beach, which is just a short walk away.
One of the highlights of the hotel is the breathtaking sunsets. Every evening, you can enjoy spectacular sunset views from the restaurant terraces, making dinner an unforgettable experience.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back in the future.
Family Holiday
We have just returned from a fantastic 7 night stay at Grecotel LUX-Me and had a brilliant experience from start to finish.
One tip for anyone visiting is to book the à la carte restaurants as early as you can, ideally before you arrive if possible, as they are very popular. They are well worth it, with exceptional food and a great dining experience.
The service throughout the hotel was excellent. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly, creating a relaxed atmosphere that made us feel at home. The drinks selection was great and the quality of the food, both in the restaurants and throughout the hotel, was high.
The sunsets each evening were absolutely stunning, rooms were comfortable and quiet, and we slept really well.
Overall, this was an excellent holiday and a hotel that we would happily return to. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, friendly service and a relaxing stay in Crete.
Outstanding Hotel and Incredible Staff
We had such a fantastic stay from start to finish. Our room was beautifully clean, and the hotel was spotless throughout. The dining facilities and food options were excellent, with plenty of choice for our 3-year-old son, which made mealtimes so easy and enjoyable. Every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond to make our holiday special. There are far too many wonderful staff members to mention individually, but they all deserve recognition for their outstanding service. Thank you for such a memorable holiday—we can’t wait to return next year!
