Great stay with family
We really enjoyed our autumn break at this resort. You’ll get a lot from pictures about the place so I’ll focus on the things you can’t. 1st of all: The staff is great, always friendly and supportive (Big Hi to Eleni). We always felt it was easy to get nice deckchairs close to the pool or sea. Same goes for tables at restaurants. We also really enjoyed the food and evening entertainment. Another observation would be that all guests seemed to be really relaxed, too. So no quarrels at the buffet, bar, sport areas etc. Everybody helping out each other and sharing a laugh. Not sure if I can credit the resort for that but certainly the place providing a great time for everybody contributes to that. With everybody I mean that it is not only kids friendly but also has put some thoughts for the needs of parents. Just one example: hammocks next to the trampoline were so nice to use while the kids were having fun.

Amazing staff
The standout feature of this hotel is without a doubt the staff. Everyone without exception went over and above to make our trip fantastic. We particularly appreciated the lovely welcome from Nadia at the restaurant every day. My husband and I unfortunately contracted a stomach bug during our trip. The hotel staff were great, really helpful and ensured we had everything we needed in our room. The hotel is really big but everything is easy to get to. The food was excellent with a wide choice every day and very few repeat. We were entitled to one "a la carte" meal during our stay. We chose to eat out in Panormo, at the Captain's rest, instead of the hotel. It was a treat, lovely food, atmosphere and staff. We would love to come back some day.

Mixed experience, some things great, some disappointing
There is a lot to like about this location - good food which feels authentic and changes quite frequently, kids club with engaged and fun staff, attentive wait staff, good family entertainment in the evenings… the only things that let it down for us…
- one of our children felt ill, so we went to the medical Center. After getting a lengthy form to fill out, we were told that a simple check up would cost €180… Greece is a country with a publicly funded healthcare system, so this was a surprise and a disappointment.
- we asked well in advance if we could get late check out - only a couple of hours. We were told the night before that we could, but it would cost €95, which feels excessive.
- the sun loungers were very difficult to secure. We saw random towels draped over them for hours without anyone returning, there should be a policy to prevent this
On balance, lots to like, a few small improvements would change the experience immeasurably.

Everything ist all fine. We like it here a lot. The Staff is really friendly. Manos ist although realy friendly.
