Euphoria Resort

Euphoria Resort is marketed as five-star ultra all-inclusive, and while the facilities are certainly impressive, I’d personally place it closer to a very good four-star. The rooms are absolutely beautiful though—spacious, modern and very well equipped, with everything you might need. Pools are huge and look fantastic, and our swim-up room was a lovely touch. The big downside is temperature—none of the outdoor pools are heated, and in October they were about 17–18 degrees, which is really cold. The sea was actually warmer. There is a heated indoor pool in the spa, which was great. Food-wise, the buffet has plenty of choice and is perfectly decent, but it does feel a bit canteen-like rather than high-end. We only stayed one night, so we couldn’t fully explore the restaurants. We were told specialty dining would cost extra with our package, and the Asian restaurant didn’t look particularly refined either. That said, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and it feels like good value for money. I’d recommend it, especially to families, but definitely in the warmer summer months when the pools are more usable

Nice but disappointing for the price and not what we expected.

The resort just about checks every box of what a 5-star all inclusive hotel resort should be but in terms of amenities but falls far short of what we expected in terms of delivery.

The service is lacking in all areas including :

• Lifeguards who spend most of the day watching videos on their phone

• A complete absence of any table service for drinks at either of the bars despite this being technically offered it is so rare that people instead queue at the bar

• I saw bar staff lie to a customer when they were double checking that their coffee was dairy free

• Our room door doesn’t close properly unless pulled but we’ve found our door left unlocked several times by housekeeping

Furthermore some of the facilities have not been to the same standards at other similarly rated resorts. Since none of the pools are heated they are absolutely freezing, much colder than the the sea. I was also disappointed to find that our “fully stocked mini bar” had very little in it and is not restocked. Even the jacuzzi in the spa isn’t heated. I could go on, just every aspect has been just OK not the luxury stay I paid and expected for.

We had a booking at the Greek à la cart restaurant tomorrow which we’ve just been notified has been cancelled as the restaurant shuts tonight for the season. Mistakes happen, I get that but when we spoke to guest relations about this they were unable to offer up any alternative and made no offer to make amends for what was their mistake.

The silver lining is that despite all this we’ve really loved the island exploring and would highly recommend Crete itself but personally I’ve not found this resort to meet the 5-star standards at all.

Just returned from a 7 night stay at this lush hotel. Arrived late at night. Welcomed to a lovely refreshing drink and our cases taken to our rooms while we had a bite to eat. Super friendly staff all around the hotel. One main point for us as we are a foodie family, the food was unreal, especailly in the speciality restaurants. Our fave was the asian. Omg - to die for. Rooms were lovely and spacious and water provided daily in the fridge. We got upgraded to a pool view room, the pool near our room was so nice and calm and peaceful. The main pool was a big hit for us, the swim up jacuzzi was lovely, water was abit cold but what can be expected for time of year. Sea was lovely and warmer than pool. Recommend taking water shoes as pebble beach. We went for super long walks both left and right of the hotel along the beach front. One staff member that stood out for out family of 5 was Maria Tripsi, she always had such a smile on her face and nothing was ever any trouble. Gem to the hotel ❤️ Would definitely come again had the best time
