Atlantica Kalliston Resort

We have just returned from our third consecutive stay at Atlantica Kalliston in Crete, which says everything about how much we love this hotel. We have never been the type of people to visit the same place twice, but Atlantica Kalliston is the exception. It keeps drawing us back, and each visit has been just as special as the last.

We stayed on the all-inclusive package and, although it is certainly an investment, we can honestly say it is worth every penny. The quality of everything on offer, from the food and drinks to the service and overall experience, makes it excellent value.

The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly the customer service. Every single member of staff was genuinely warm, welcoming and friendly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, making us feel valued from the moment we arrived until the day we left.

A special mention must go to the Guest Experience team, especially Emna who was simply second to none. Her warmth, professionalism and genuine care for guests made a real difference to our stay and perfectly reflects the exceptional standards of the whole hotel.

The atmosphere throughout the hotel is wonderfully calm and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s an elegant, classy hotel with a real sense of luxury without ever feeling pretentious.

The recently refurbished main dining room is absolutely beautiful. The design is stylish and elegant, creating a wonderful setting for every meal and giving a real sense of quality over quantity. Everything feels thoughtfully considered, and it enhances the whole dining experience.

We also enjoyed beautiful lunches in the newly refurbished Greek restaurant overlooking the beach. The setting was simply stunning, with breathtaking sea views, delicious food and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. It was just perfect!

The evening entertainment was tasteful and sophisticated, providing the perfect way to end each day. It complemented the tranquil atmosphere beautifully and was enjoyable without ever being loud or intrusive.

The food was another highlight. There was an excellent variety of fresh, delicious dishes at every meal, all beautifully presented and of an exceptionally high standard. We looked forward to every meal.

Our room was equally impressive, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we had a fantastic night’s sleep every evening. It’s the little touches like this that really elevate the whole experience.

If you’re looking for a relaxing, high-quality holiday with outstanding service, fantastic food and a peaceful atmosphere, Atlantica Kalliston is hard to beat. We left feeling refreshed once again and are already looking forward to our next visit.

We spent 10 days at the hotel in July. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were really lovely (lagoon rooms) which mean you can dip straight into the pool from the room. Rooms were spacious and spotless - the cleaning team do an exceptional job and are so friendly. The front desk and customer experience team ( Maria Eletheria, Maria, Emna, June, Irini, Eleni - and many more ) are always on hand to answer questions or help recommend restaurants and beaches. The team are really first class. Maria is from Crete and so her knowledge was first class and was always so helpful and friendly. Manolis was always on hand to help at the front door. Chef katerina led the cuisine classes and we thought she was excellent and the Chief chef was helpful too. The breakfast is plentiful and so fresh. The beach is clean and sunbeds are in abundance and the bar team and beach team are very visible and helpful. Also enjoyed the range of activities including the yoga and the pool aerobics (thank you Tanya). Overall a very nice stay and a huge thanks to the whole team at the hotel who made our stay really comfortable and welcoming. Can’t really fault it. We hope to return to the hotel.
