Analipsis, a verdant Cretan Village is located 20km east of Heraklion and 6km west of Hersonissos. It took its name after the church of Analipsi (Ascension of Christ). It is a small village located in a fertile valley, has small houses with lovely gardens and fields with olive trees. Near the Centre of the village there are shops, bars and restaurants. In front of the village, there is a small pier with a picturesque church next to it dedicated to Agia Marina. Analipsis has an organized sandy beach. Hersonissos is one of the most popular coastal tourist resorts in Crete, offering a wide variety of gastronomy and entertainment options throughout day and night.

Not for us at all
This hotel is mainly geared up for French people when staying there the first week there was only 4 English people. The entertainment is also in French and when he does speak English you can’t understand . The food seems geared up to French as well. The cleaning wasn’t great we smashed a cup and three days later even though we asked for it to be cleaned t ice by then my husband stepped on a bit he was lucky he cut his foot. The area it’s self is nice and you can go on nice walks along the beach the bus stop is up the top of the hill don’t look at times as they don’t seem to run at times stated. I wouldn’t go back here because of the fact that they r all French and rude. There is also only 13 sunbeds for the whole hotel unless u are able to lay flat on the ones in water of which there is 5 of those. Beds were gone most mornings before we even got up and we are not ones to lay in bed so by 8-830 they r gone.The one plus is the sunsets are amazing !!!

Didn’t feel like Crete
The hotel is in a good location, clean and the food is good. There is a hanging rail no closet. Really great if you speak French it was used as the first language too few sun loungers

Amazing
Lovely hotel buitful staff lovely quality off food entertainment fantastic great entainer Dou Dou getting everyone involed . Local amunties out off hotel down road
Enjoyed our stay.
We had a great time. Very friendly staff, room was good with kettle and fridge. We only did B and B but the breakfast was plentiful with a good range. The entertainment was excellent, really enjoyed the participation.
Disgusting hotel
Well where do I start,I arrived at this hotel wed the 13th not a nice greeting at all all they wanted was tax money.wasnt helped to a room they watched me struggle,when I did get too the room I was greeted to a filthy room with mosqitoes everywhere a broken rusted shower and a dirty bed..I went back down to reception and complained they moved me to another room which was just as bad there's area was terribly run down,the food was disgusting 1 lady found a worm in her food and when she complained easyjet and the hotel threw her out at 9pm on the evening and left her vulnerable...the pool food is awful full of French who clearly dispose the brits and the hotel was clearly for them!!I had a letter on my door saying go to reception so I went and they advised me if I complained again they would throw me out I was a vulnerable woman on my own...would definitely say this is not a 4 star hotel more like a 1 star,all this led me to getting a jet 2 flight home yesterday im distraught by the whole situation I will be calling easyjet to put a complaint in as I want my full money back....please if you are British and thinking of visiting here please I strongly advise you not too!! And also the streets are not safe
