We are ideally located in the tranquil resort of Kato Gouves, 600m away from a sandy beach and very close in walking distance from shops, restaurants and bars.
CretAquarium, the International Exhibition Center of Crete and the picturesque village of Gouves are accessible within walking distance or a short drive. The Cretan Golf Club and two of the largest water parks are only a short drive away from our properties. Heraklion city, appox. 17 km. Our Hotels are easily accessed from Heraklion Intern. airport (14 km) and Heraklion port (17 km). Additionally taxi, car rental service is offered and the local bus station is only 150 m away from the hotel.

Outstanding service from Gagan
We’ve had such a great stay at the hotel, but I especially wanted to give a massive shout-out to Gagan, one of the waiters working across breakfast, lunch and dinner. He has honestly been fantastic throughout our stay. He is constantly on the go, working tirelessly to make sure everyone is looked after and everything runs smoothly. Despite how busy he is, he is always friendly, helpful and welcoming. I really feel that staff like him self deserve recognition. He has worked incredibly hard every day and has made a real impression on us. I sincerely hope the hotel recognises his hard work and rewards him for everything he does. He is a real credit to the hotel and deserves to be appreciated. Thank you, Gagan! 👏
Terrible
Very disappointing stay – multiple problems and no meaningful response from management
Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing due to several issues with the room and, more importantly, the lack of response when we raised them.
The shower leaked badly, leaving a large puddle of water all over the floor. I slipped on the water and hurt myself. We reported this to the manager, but unfortunately, nothing was done about it.
We also had repeated problems with the room key. On one occasion, the key stopped working and we were unable to get into our room. We asked someone in the neighbouring room to contact reception for us, but nobody came. Luckily, the balcony door had been left open, so I had to climb over the balcony to get back into our room. The same thing happened again later, except this time the balcony door was locked. We called reception again and, once again, nobody came. We eventually had to go to reception ourselves. Guest Relations came with maintenance, but the issue was not properly resolved, and the Guest Relations representative left because her shift was ending.
The wardrobe door also never closed properly, meaning the wardrobe light remained on all the time.
We complained about the air conditioning three times, but nothing was done to resolve the problem.
What made all of these issues even more frustrating was the lack of urgency and customer care when we reported them. Problems can happen in any hotel, but what matters is how the hotel responds and resolves them. Unfortunately, in our experience, the response was extremely poor.
Overall, this was a very disappointing stay, and based on our experience, we would not return or recommend this hotel.
Amazing Experience
Amazing experience, the atmosphere of the hotel is amazing, all of the staff are super friendly, the food is great, the rooms are beautiful. I loved the spa and the message that I experienced with Emma! Thank you!

Aelius hotel
We booked this hotel with my boyfriend to celebrate our first anniversary together. Overall, the hotel is very beautiful, well-maintained and clean. The swimming pools are spacious and well looked after, and we also really enjoyed having entertainment available at the hotel.The staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, communication was sometimes a little difficult because they did not always understand us clearly, which could occasionally be frustrating.One thing we found disappointing was the sleeping arrangement in our room. We had booked a room with a double bed, but instead we were given two separate single beds. It wasn’t a major problem, but as a couple celebrating our anniversary, we would have preferred to sleep together.
Unfortunately, during the last two days of our stay, we also had an issue with cockroaches in the room, which was quite unpleasant The food was good, with a wide variety of choices, so there was something for everyone. We also went on a day trip and received a breakfast package from the hotel. Unfortunately, we found this a little disappointing, as there was not enough food to keep us going for the whole day.
Another downside was the internet connection, which was very poor and often difficult to use.Despite these points, we had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel itself is beautiful, the facilities are spacious and well maintained, and the variety of food and entertainment were definitely positive aspects of our experience.
Family holiday
Had a fabulous time at this hotel family of 5 spotless clean and loads of linen towel changes food was quite good for all inclusive breakfast and lunch I felt were better than dinner stayed in a swim up room and a deluxe triple both fab and had a complimentary late check out with was much appreciated The cocktails in all inclusive could be improved like a lot of ready made not great And maybe a bit more regular shuttle to beach We would return if staying on Crete again Guest relations were excellent and helpful when we hired a car
