Situated right on a beautiful sandy beach just fifteen minutes outside of Chania on the island of Crete, this luxurious fully renovated beach hotel designed for adults offers a spectacular family holiday or romantic retreat of sea and sun. The best holiday!
What can I say. Had the privilege of staying in some of the best hotels in the world… but my stay at Asterion has been a magical time and up there with my best hotel experiences.
Hotel Fabulous boutique style hotel. Rooms are modern and stylish with plenty of space.
Food Main restaurant and buffet food was stunning. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, so many yummy styles of food to try.
Drinks Cocktails delivered to your bed via the app. Amazing cocktails and a fab selections of wines. All of these are part of the all inclusive deal.
Staff The best staff ever!!! Anywhere.. I can’t express how amazing the staff are!!! Everyone is super happy to help your stay to be perfect. Food and drinks served with the biggest smiles and with full of enthusiasm. We had a birthday meal arranged one night. Hotel organised the birthday table. They made a birthday cake. They also arranged the live band to pause and sing happy birthday to our party member. Honestly it was perfect evening
The American-Greek head of customer relations is amazing. She spends time getting to know everyone who’s staying here. She organised meals in and out of the hotel. She also organised ebike hire for us too. She is brilliant at her job!

Wonderful experience.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious with good rain shower. It has very nice pool and beach area, which unfortunately, we couldn’t use because of the storm. There is a buffet at the hotel, which was probably one of the best, that we had for both breakfast and dinner. But what made our stay very special, are people who work there, especially Michael and Katerina, who went above and beyond their duties and made us feel like we are visiting a family. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Greece at its best
We stayed at this beautiful hotel from 29th September to 13th October. The hotel is aesthetically beautiful, simply laid out but with plenty of chairs and sun loungers for the amount of guests visiting. We felt the food was of a high standard and the quality of the drinks were really good. As previous guests have stated, this hotel has a superb team of staff and we felt that all of them worked seamlessly to ensure guests had a great holiday. We had a few standouts for us being Manolis and Maria who were really attentive to us, especially helping us with our choice of wines, all the reception personnel who were helpful and eager to advise re taxis, restaurants, etc, and George and all the team working hard from the pool bar to keep us hydrated.
I have to also give praise to all the staff working to keep the hotel and grounds spotless. There were two particular ladies (sorry didn’t get their names) who constantly were cleaning the glass entrance to the lobby and kept the toilets beautifully clean. Also the two guys who managed the maintenance and clearing up all the pool towels. Great team effort.
The hotel is quiet which suited us and we would definitely return. Thank you for. Great stay.

Only issue? Booked too few days!
Incredible experience! The staff is above and beyond. The catch phrase was “no problem”. Everything was carefully designed and perfected to make every single moment at the hotel more enjoyable!
The spa experience was incredible. Christina, the Aegeo ambassador and her therapist, Pui, were amazing, and the variety in treatments made sure that there was something for everyone and any situation.
Only issue? Booked too few days.

A fabulous experience
This is a fabulous hotel if you want to relax and be taken care of! We stayed for 10 nights and had the best time. The room was brilliant, and housekeeping was excellent. The food is great - both at the buffet and a la carte restaurant. The drinks were delicious. We loved sitting on the beach or by the pool and ordering cocktails to our sunbed. The overwhelming takeaway is that all the staff are excellent - attentive, professional and friendly. We also tried the spa and the treatments were great. This hotel exceeded our expectations in just about every way.
