We’ve had the most amazing week here and couldn’t recommend Anemos resort enough. Stunning hotel, it was exceptionally clean, food was amazing and fresh and SO much variety every night, entertainment was great, staff were amazing with our little ones and were always so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend visiting this hotel.
Could not fault the hotel, staff and all round experience. Very well thought out hotel, very clean and service is exceptional.
Fab location, easy to access and then easy to access other areas of the island. Amazing food and cocktails. Room was a great size, decorated beautifully and also kept clean and tidy. Happy helpful staff across all areas of the hotel! We had a great 10 days family holiday on an all inclusive basis. Highly recommend.
We had an enjoyable stay at the Anemos hotel. On arrival we were immediately looked after and given a welcome drink and food in the restaurant if we wanted it (it was midnight). The porter drove us to our room with our cases, thank goodness as it would have been quite a walk in the dark! We had a room with a private pool which was a god send. Our bedroom was a lovely cool haven on the especially hot days. Our room was a little tired in places but the cleaners were fantastic and kept our room super clean, they were also so friendly. we were all inclusive plus and this included a topped up mini bar each day which was a nice touch. Our room was about half way between the kids pool and the main reception. I think if we had been at the back nearest the kids pool, the walk up and down each day for food would have got a bit tedious in the blistering heat. You could always call for a buggy but I think they needed more buggies.
The kids pool area was excellent, it never felt too busy and the maestro restaurant was probably our favourite in the complex. The staff were very attentive and even remembered our drinks order! The main pool area is lovely to look at and we preferred to sit there late afternoon/early evening. I think if the hotel had been at full capacity it may have been a bit cramped in the pool as a lot of the water is more for decoration. However at night it looks spectacular. The frozen strawberry daquiris and the pancakes from the main pool area are divine.
The quality of the food in the main buffet was really good, and the staff were so friendly. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning in the restaurants. But once the sun went down it was bearable.
The hotel has a very relaxed feel which we prefer to loads of kids entertainment and loud music round the pool all day. The only loud music played was for 20 mins daily pool fitness which was fun! Our daughter loved being able to pop into the kids club if she wanted a change of scenery from the pool. The kids disco was at 8.30pm each night and was a bit of fun for the kids before the entertainment.
We visited the beach a couple of times, it was very clean and the beach bar was a nice escape from the heat.
Location wise, I would have preferred being able to walk to a few shops etc nearby but you had to get a taxi or the mini train. The nearest village was only up the road though.
Overall we did have a lovely time at this hotel and we would recommend it to other families.
Hotel is classed as 5 star , it’s more 4. Food is amazing even the buffet area which is quite rare in all inclusive hotels . The à la cartes were very very good . staff very friendly and polite . Hotel is a bit tired now though. Pools and rooms definitely need attention they’re old and dated . My parents had to move room As the one they was allocated had a serious mould/ damp issue . Obviously known by the hotel though as there was a dehumidifier in there. Our room didn’t get cleaned on two of the days either so had to ring down to at least get our towels replaced . Not a big deal but a bit frustrating . Another thing I don’t agree with is the hotel is classed as all inclusive plus so you would think everything is included , that’s not the case here . Quite a lot of things were extra costs . Overall we had a great holiday but there’s definitely things that need improving.
