Located in a paradisiacal setting and overlooking the sea, immersed in a relaxing and beautiful Mediterranean atmosphere, this marvellous hotel is the ideal choice of accommodation for everyone in search of a place to stay where they can recharge their batteries. Those interested in history may appreciate the main two archeological sites in the region. The property is a mere 12 km from the popular Agios Nikolaos city and there is a bus stop only 70 metres away. All guest rooms and suites are individually designed and fully furnished with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Each of them is decorated in warm and earthy hues, allowing its visitors to find their balance between body and soul. Guests can enjoy the stunning views from the roof top garden and enjoy a relaxing bath at the great swimming pool or at the convenient private beach with free parasols and sun-loungers.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Looking at recent reviews we had the same room as a recent reviewer complaining about the view! Sitting on the balcony the view is beautiful, their review is deceptive as it's when stood up. The hotel can't control the messy yard from the restaurant next door. The hotel is modern, clean and well equipped. The people working there are all very helpful and friendly, a special shout out the the breakfast team (sorry no names), the man on reception with glasses when we arrived late at night, the cleaners, Harri and Gabrielle in the bar and Kleo who never stops smiling!
Our room was modern and clean and a very comfortable bed. Towels changed daily, and bedding every other day.
Breakfast has to be the best we've ever had, everything from fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast, cakes, tiny desserts, cooked meat, cheeses, cooked breakfast etc and an amazing freshly squeezed orange machine.
There is a small stoney beach with around 20 beds but you will need to be up early to get a bed,the rooftop pool is nice but again only has 16 beds. If you like a lie in then you will need to go to the main beach one of the nearby bars. There are signs stating beds are not to be reserved but this was not actioned. Often there were beds with towrls on left empty for hours.
Fabulous Hotel, great value for money, very friendly & helpful staff. Ideal situation.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff. The room was huge with a great balcony with mountain and sea views. We stayed half board, Breakfast was very good with lots of variety and homemade breads. Evening meals all A la carte. Fish based restaurant with a good variety. We only ate there 3 nights as we wanted a more greek feel to the restaurant. Sky bar and the roof top pool was lovely and had sunbeds free each time. The small beach area at the front was always taken and unfortunately the 30 minute rule was not policed by anyone. Great location on the edge of town with easy walking to all other bars and restaurants
What a fabulous little boutique hotel. The room was lovely, not huge, but everything we needed and perfectly clean. Lovely view from the balcony (side sea view). The breakfast has plenty of choice the freshly squeezed orange juice was a lovely touch. The pool area and the Sky Bar are beautiful laid out and lying on the comfy loungers with the sea lapping up was wonderful. Yes, there aren’t a lot of loungers but there was so much to see and do in the area that we didn’t head to the beach or pool until late afternoon and we always got loungers or comfy beanbags. The staff were lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel and Elounda in general.
The positives : this adult only hotel has stunning views especially from the sky bar The staff are very helpful and friendly It has a great location with only a 5 minute walk into the town where there are many bars and places to eat The room we had was nice and clean and all essentials provided - fridge , hairdryer , tea/coffee Good air con in the room We had a Big balcony with sun beds Good food and a big choice of drinks at a reasonable price in the sky bar Great breakfast with plenty of choice
The negatives: our room had a very hard bed however when I asked for a mattress topper it was given to us straight away Only 10 sunbeds around the pool that had umbrellas - if you have come to sunbath/sit around the pool there is not much of a chance as people get there early and take the sunbeds (i went at 8.30 and nowhere to go) There are bean bags also around the pool but no shade where they are There is a small beach but again all the sunbeds taken early I do appreciate it is only a small hotel with no room to put any more sunbeds I could have sat on my sunbed on my balcony but there is zero shade until about 4PM and no umbrella provided
