Ideally set in Mirabello Bay, our central location offers a tranquil escape near all the city's top attractions. The beautiful coastline, shaded beaches and crystal clear seas is mere steps from our front door. Our peaceful retreat offers onsite dining, spa, two pools and breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and Cretan landscape.
We have just finished our 7 day visit flying home today.
The reason we booked with the hilton brand was really peace of mind. I did email ahead and makes some requests aswell and they more then accommodated.
This hotel is mainly self serve you have a cocktail bar in the lounge and one at the beach open all day the. And a few restaurants that you can visit once or twice during your stay unless your a cool living guest.
The cocktails and beer are great and strong highly reccomend but for us the food was a little below par from what we thought, we ended up having breakfast everyday then going out for the rest of the day, the Asian food at the yellow sea restaurant was drounded in some sort of sauce and it kinda made it inedible. We spent most of our time at babel bar and grill down the way ill be leaving a separate review for them highly reccomend.
The hotel beach is gravel small stones so bring shoes for the beach and there are little fish that nip you but if you keep swimming your fine they dont bother you, while im on the subject of the beach there was a member of staff that came over and asked us on 2 separate days what are room number was and if we were guests, which I really dont get as there was a beach of people and we seem to be the only people that was asked especially the second time around.
For me it was the wraps at the beach bar that pushed me away we didn't want to do the 20-25 minute walk to eloundas every day but after getting a hair in my wrap I was totally put off.
Staff. We upgraded to room 123 shared pool the cleaner that did our room everyday was absolutely amazing such a lovely woman we had a little language barrier but honestly such a lovely woman.
Concierge and desk staff always friendly and happy to help so no fault there if you need anything ask and they are there to help.
You can hire vehicles from desk in the resort, we rented a quad for 3 days it was a great way to view the island all sorted buy domes staff :)
Like I said we were In room 123 becasue we wanted the use of the pool we were sandwiched between 2 young couples that belived it was a good idea to saty up till 2/3 in the morning jumping in the pool being stupid ,the hotel acknowledge this when we checked out and apologised.
For me theses pool areas need monitoring its a adult only hotel and we could of quite easily slipped im and out and no one would of knew but people that are less considerate dont really care about others and a few rooms complained.
So overall Food choices ok but not the best Drinks /cocktails good Rooms small and Intimate a little tired here and there (door locks would not work so we had to get reception to give us a key instead of card) Very clean little rough around the edges with bad repairs and what not but this does not heed or hinder your stay just cosmetic.
Elondas 20-30 mintues on foot Plaka 10 mintues drive 1 hour walk plus not full paths.
Would we go back ? Probably not but thankyou for our stay
Ps the views are lovely I will say that
Hope helps
Where do I even begin? I’ve just got home after an absolutely fantastic week at Domes Aulus Elounda, and I honestly can’t put into words just how impressed, happy and completely blown away I was by our stay.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt so special. We were celebrating our anniversary and were welcomed with a beautiful bottle of wine and a delicious cake in our room, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch.
We stayed in a private pool room and the views were simply out of this world. The room itself was spotless, beautifully presented and had so much attention to detail. You could tell that so much thought had gone into making sure guests had everything they could possibly need for a comfortable and memorable stay.
The staff were absolutely incredible. Every single person we came across was so friendly, welcoming and helpful, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They genuinely seemed to care about making sure you were happy and enjoying your stay.
The food was fantastic, with plenty of choice throughout the day, and there was always something delicious available whether you wanted food or a drink. The bar staff were also brilliant - so friendly and attentive.
The pool areas were stunning, and having access to the Cool Living section made our stay feel even more special. The views from there were absolutely breathtaking and were some of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen.
Before arriving, I was slightly apprehensive about getting around the hotel because I knew it was situated on a hill. However, there was absolutely no need to worry! There was plenty of transport available to take you wherever you needed to go, whether that was down to the beach, reception, restaurants and pool areas, or up to the Cool Living section. The concierge team were fantastic too - so friendly, helpful and always happy to assist. Even travelling around the resort gave us the opportunity to take in some incredible views.
The whole atmosphere of the hotel was just perfect. Calm, friendly, relaxing and luxurious, while still feeling warm and welcoming. It really did feel like somewhere special.
The communication from the hotel was also brilliant, from the moment we booked right through to the end of our stay. They went out of their way to check in with us and make sure everything was okay, which really showed how much they value their guests.
I genuinely became emotional on our final day because I was so sad to leave. I actually cried when we were leaving - I simply didn’t want the holiday to end! That probably says everything you need to know about how much we loved our stay.
My partner and I will 100% be coming back, and I honestly can’t wait. Domes Aulus Elounda has set the bar incredibly high and is, without a doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed at.
A huge thank you to every member of staff for making our anniversary and our entire stay so incredibly special.
I couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Love, love, LOVE it! We will miss it so much and are already looking forward to coming back.
Spent 10 days here in August 2026, someone else said it best in their review without the Cool Living Area upgrade the hotel is no where near a 5 star. With it its very close.
Hotel is in a stunning location, we were in room 824 which had a great view, as does the cool living area. The hotel definately oversold the upgrades to this part of the hotel a few days we were there we couldn’t get a lounger but they had deck chairs you could use if needed. Main pool area you get as standard was extremely underwhelming, very small pool and no where near enough beds.
Our room was great, everything you would need and a really nice space. Only minor point for the rooms was the shower, its a wet room type bathroom with no screen for the shower so everything gets soaking wet when you’re in but dries up very quickly. Well stocked mini bar with the all inclusive plus we had and bar staff were amazing. Restaurants were hit and miss, we managed to use all of them twice, some nights the food was great, others not fantastic. The Italian/ Greek place at the amipitheatre area were absolutely great, best restaurants in the place. Also didn’t like being presented with a “bill” before we had even recieved our mains, seems to be a way to prompt a tip, no issue with that the staff work extremely hard and are exceptionally friendly but would be better waiting until people had finished their meals.
Cool living area was great, we really enjoyed the view every day and bar was a great place to relax with a drink. Buffets are well stocked for breakfast and great selection but no option for omlettes etc which I’d expect at a five star. The A La Cartes also very stringent with portions, asked for additional rice at Yellow Sea asian style place to be told no, they’re very strict on one starter/ main per person even when tipping well.
Used the spa on our last day and had an amazing service from the team there. Requested a late checkout well in advance of leaving but they could unfortunately only give us an extra hour in the room but they did allow us to use all facilities and to shower/ change in the spa before leaving which was great.
The resort is very steep but shuttle bus/ golf carts take you up and down regularly and we didn’t have to wait around much.
All in all we had an amazing holiday and really liked the resort but few small things let it down from five stars. If we hadn’t upgraded to the cool living area before we came out I would have been massively disapointed in the facilities available for what we were paying for the standard room so if you’re coming here the upgrade is 100% necesary.
Views very good Staff good Rooms awful ( shoe box, lived out of our suitcase for a week) Food the worst we have ever had Would definitely not recommend. Honestly can't understand the good reviews.
I spent 11 nights in Sapphire suite room ‘Cool Living’ part which gives you access to Greco Levante - worth the extra ! Loved the room - huge bed , seating areas , great balcony with superb view over to Spinalonga . Great air con , minbar with lots of drinks which was replenished daily, bottle wine , raki and snacks included . Nespresso machine and kettle . Super quiet in the room. All the staff were great - friendly and always willing to help . Greco Levante is stunning with infinity pool and amazing views over the bay. Food was superb and I enjoyed every meal, lovely bar for an after dinner drink . Great breakfast selection . Lunch was a delight with a nice glass of iced Rose. Great selection of Greek wines. Had lunch at Meze , dinners at Amphitheatro and Yellow Sea Asian at the main building for a change which was super - love the Asian food which they also do on Mondays at Greco Levante dinner. The buffet restaurant at main building served great selection of food - I only used first night . Great relaxed vibe overall . Lovely cocktails served which were good quality . Thanks particularly to barman Mohamad at Greco Levante - he works very hard and could do with an assistant ! The hotel is on a very steep hill - but shuttle bus and staff will transfer you on golf carts . There is a private beach area - quite narrow but pleasant with bar and grab and go food. Spent a few hours there after diving trips. I had a great holiday and would certainly return - thanks to all the staff!
