The benchmark hotel
An absolutely outstanding hotel. We arrived late - midnight - very hungry and tired. The hotel restaurants were shut, as was everything in Plaka, but the hotel put together a delicious charcuterie board for us that hit the spot. It was uphill from there. Beautiful room with fantastic views. All the staff were outstanding - friendly and professional. The hotel seems quite new. Everything is fresh and well maintained. Plaka is quaint with some nice tavernas. In the hotel, Kelari is outstanding. 116 rooms is great for personal service.
The only thing I would flag up is that the hotel is built into a cliff, and even with the vernacular railway, there are a lot of steps, which may not suit someone with limited mobility. But an OUTSTANDING hotel and we will be back in 2027.

Unreal hotel, everything was 10/10. I found the bar/pool staff extremely helpful, I want to give special thanks to Daria who was friendly, approachable & efficient, just spectacular. Would come back in a heartbeat

Incredible treatment by Rupa
Had a deep recovery ritual done by Rupa who was just lovely and made me feel right at home. Treatment was around 110 minutes long and enjoyed every minute! Rupa was strong and experienced but at the same time so kind and gentle!

Cayo Stone Beach Plaka
Being a regular on Plaka and regular user of the Stone Beach who has spent money renting sun beds on there beach from the day it opened, I find it disrespectful that the hotel forgets about its regular and local users from using the beds.I understand that hotel guests are a priority but have been here 2 days so far on this trip ( last trip in June for 16 days! used the beach daily!) and occupancy of the sun beds have averaged 25%. Why turn down paying willingly customers?.I am also disappointed as a I request to speak to beach manager, was told 10 minures and another hour did not show and told he was not coming down to the beach! Great way to treat customers who help keep you in off season!
