This charming and rustic hotel is set right on the coast, just a short walk from the small, sandy coves as well as the city centre of Chersonissos. The town offers various shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment venues, many open 24 hours a day, and numerous sites with ancient ruins can be found throughout the area and the island. The hotel has 196 standard rooms and 8 maisonettes, all air-conditioned and furnished with en suite bath, balcony or terrace, refrigerator and satellite TV. Guests can energize for the day in the hotel gym, relax in the sauna and hammam or by the outdoor pool, play tennis, table tennis or billiards, and enjoy Greek and Cretan themed evening entertainment after a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant. Tasty treats and refreshments can be found throughout the day at the snack bar and lounge bar, and guests can indulge in breakfast in bed with room service. The perfect place for a relaxing, sunny holiday in Crete.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have recently returned from an all inclusive 2 week stay and want to thank you all for yet another wonderful/welcoming stay (we were with you May/June 2025). Thank you Nikos for arranging for us to have the same room as last year, very much appreciated. The hotel, built in the style of a Greek village, is in a lovely position across the bay from the very lively/noisy Hersonissos resort hotels so offers peace and quiet, we can thoroughly recommend it unless you want all night entertainment. We have seen some reviews remarking on the ‘tired and out of date rooms’ we cannot totally agree with this as they have everything one requires and are kept beautifully clean by a friendly diligent cleaning crew Who spends time sitting in the room when the sun is shining and there is a lovely sea front beach bar expertly managed by Max, the beach and local Taverna to enjoy???? The food offerings, at all meal times are extensive, well cooked and thoroughly delicious and the wine perfectly chilled👍. The restaurant is managed by a lovely chap called George, maître d’, who is present at all meal times working very hard to ensure everything in the dining room works seamlessly. We must also thank our waiter Antonos for looking after us with his excellent friendly service and enabling us to sit in our preferred location on the restaurant veranda. After dinner you can relax in the inside/outside hotel bar where Micheal makes a perfect Ouzo with water and ice and of course many other drinks, also some evenings the bar is the location for entertainment, this year an excellent singer. If this hotel is aware that you are celebrating eg. birthday, wedding anniversary etc. the head of housekeeping, Maria, takes a lot of trouble decorating you’re room with flowers, artificial trees, fairy lights, flowers, wine and various other pretty things….loved the addition of the love bird ornament….thank you so much Maria for making our anniversary special both this year and on our 2025 visit you’re artistic installations are so very much appreciated. Sadly for this lovely hotel there is, close by, currently under construction, a huge garish water park standing out like a carbuncle on the horizon together with two hotels. We fear that upon completion and inhabitation these hideous structures might spoil the whole area but of course there is nothing the Hotel can do but live with it and hope that it does not impinge too much on this lovely area. Thank you All for looking after us once again and hope to see you all on our return in September.
I had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this hotel.
The location is simply fantastic, with direct access to a beautiful beach and crystal-clear water. The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
The food was excellent, with a great variety and high quality throughout my stay. I always found something delicious and enjoyed every meal.
One of the highlights was the relaxing atmosphere. I came here looking for rest and recovery and found exactly that. The combination of the stunning location, the sea, the friendly service, and the overall comfort made this a truly memorable holiday.
A special mention also goes to the AEGEO Spas team Xenia snd Auguste. The massage treatment I received was one of the highlights of my stay and left me feeling completely relaxed and refreshed.
Thank you to everyone who made this holiday so enjoyable. I would gladly return.
While staying else where in Crete my sister-in-law and I were given an opportunity to visit the Ageo spa within the hotel.......Thank you Elania and Mila.......the Cretan massage was wonderfull both myself and my sister-in-law had a wonderfull experience and kindness of both ladies is a added bonus.......
great service from reception-got our room 4 hours b4 official check in.Yummy food-we had half board.everyday new dishes.Taverna on the left,Ya restaurant on the right.3 small shops.Beach across the street'.20 min by foot to the port/city center.Good cleaning.2 pools and small one for kids
The hotel main rooms and lounge are beautiful. The gardens are superb and well kept and clean. This is great but my room really let the place down and is very disappointing. There is no way this is a 4 star hotel. The walls of my room are very rustically plastered and very badly at that. Air conditioner is old and controls impossible to decipher. The TV is on the wall but just got decoration. It's permanently frozen on Al Jazeera news. I asked for it to be fixed but it went from cnn to AJ. I like it for music usually. There is a kettle, cups and glasses, that's it!! I did pack tea bags and coffee sachets, thankfully. The bathroom is pretty tatty with exposed concrete and slapped on grouting along the top edge of the tiles. I normally take most quirks on the chin but paying a single person's costs with Titan is a bit hard to swallow. A lot of my other fellow travellers are not impressed either. There are numerous steps everywhere and no rooms in or above reception or the dining room. Some ramps are at a steeper than 45 degree angle. There seems to be limited staff in the dining room and they're always under pressure permanently. The scenery is lovely looking out to sea and the areas are nice. DO remember toilet paper goes in a bin NOT in the toilet.!! Sewage systems can't take paper. Island of Crete is spectacular. Ancient old radio doesn't work, no idea how old this vintage radio is!
