The Lovely Royal Mare
We have just returned from 7 nights at the lovely Royal Mare. Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff who are so friendly and attentive. Special mention to Rena in the main restaurant who served us for breakfast and lunch and knew our drinks order before we asked. The main bar is busy, but all the staff ensured you didn’t have to wait long between drinks. Sorry I don’t have their names but they were great.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – A Magical, First‑Class Family Holiday
We have just returned from a wonderful 10‑day stay and can honestly say this hotel deserves every bit of a 10/10 rating. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing — warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our family feel completely looked after.
Our daughter has a severe nut and peanut allergy as well as a gluten intolerance, and travelling can often be stressful because of this. However, the care, attention, and professionalism shown by every single member of staff was outstanding. They went above and beyond daily to ensure she was safe, comfortable, and fully catered for.
Each mealtime, the chef personally met with her to go through what she could have. If there wasn’t anything she fancied, they happily prepared something separately — no fuss, no stress, just kindness and reassurance. This level of care meant our daughter felt safe eating, trusted the team completely, and was able to enjoy her holiday without worry. As parents, that meant the world to us.
The food throughout our stay was first class — delicious, varied, and easily the best all‑inclusive experience we’ve ever had. The whole team made us feel so welcome, and we truly felt well and truly looked after from start to finish.
We would like to say a very special thank you to the chefs who went out of their way every single day: Stelios Rodakis, George Vidalis, and George Fadez. Your kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made such a difference.
A huge thank you also to the restaurant staff — Pela, Nektoiria, and Nikos — who looked after us so beautifully and ensured our daughter was always safe and cared for. Your warmth and professionalism did not go unnoticed.
Thank you all for making our holiday magical. This is a truly first‑class hotel where staff go above and beyond, cannot do enough for you, and make you feel genuinely welcome. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you!
