Great stay and fantastic food/services
One week was not enough. The food is truly exceptional, fresh, and prepared with art and culinary talent. The room is very nice. The balcony spacious and the mattress divine. We had an ´horizon’ room but given the urbanized area, the view could be better. The whole team is exceptional also - both at the restaurant and the pool bar. We have been to many highly ranked hotels, but this one really deserves its nearly 5 stars based on the service quality and the food. Oh… it is spotless everywhere. We warmly recommend it for both younger or older couples.

A relaxing break with fantastic service
Me and my dad have just finished a weeks stay at Nema and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Whilst the weather has been mixed and at times quite bad the hotel has been great. The food is excellent (we stayed half board) with a new variety each night including varied desserts and salads. The only feedback would be that some of the vegetable dishes where sometimes too salty, but the meat and fish were delicious and beautifully cooked. The room was compact but very clean and the cleaners came later in the day when we wanted a late start, the toiletries in the room were also very nice. The standout has been the service from the team, we arrived a day later than originally planned due to unforeseen circumstances but the team could not have been more accommodating, with a welcome drink and cold towel on arrival, recommendations for local interest spots and a feedback text after the first day to check in. Thank you in particular to Elda and her colleagues at reception for this. The restaurant and bar staff are also excellent, they remembered our room numner after the first day and what drinks we liked and recommended new idea for us too. Thank you Katerina for this, and also Spidoula (I hope this is correct!) At breakfast who knew my coffee by day 4 and brought it to me before I had even asked. Overall we have loved our stay here, it was out first time on crete and we will be coming back, thank you for looking after us during our stay.
