The hotel enjoys an ideal location, set in extensive grounds between the blue sea and the fertile hills, in the settlement of Ormos in the northern part of the city. It faces a pleasant bay, offering guests a spectacular view of Aghios Nikolaos, with easy access to the beach, shops and taverns. It lies only 10-15 minutes' walk from the city centre and only some 200 m from the nearest bus stop. The Knossos Minoan Palace, Lassithi Plateau and the Heraklion Archaeological Museum are all some 70 km away. It is also 70 km to Heraklion Airport
This air-conditioned beach apartment hotel features a 24-hour reception and 24-hour check-in/check out service, a hotel safe and a currency exchange facility, a TV room, a breakfast room and car parking facilities. The 2-storey buildings are set at a distance of approximately 30 m from each other and comprise a total of 85 rooms. Access to rooms on the ground floor is via 4-5 steps. Rooms on the 1st floor may be reached by stairs only as there is no lift access.
The spacious rooms are tastefully designed in local style, and most come with built-in beds, whereas some have bedsteads. The twin-bedded rooms are on one double built-in base with two separate mattresses and are made up as two separate beds. All rooms feature a private bathroom with a shower or bathtub and a toilet. The rooms are also equipped with a telephone, a hairdryer, a radio, a mini fridge, a safe (extra charge payable on-site), air conditioning (extra charge payable on-site) and a balcony or a veranda with a view of the sea, garden, mountain or swimming pool.
The hotel features an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with parasols and a poolside snackbar. Hersonissos Golf Course is only a 30-minute drive away.
Guests may select their breakfast from a lavish buffet.

Peaceful relaxing and friendly hotel
If you want quiet and a peaceful relaxing holiday this small, very friendly hotel is for you. Just returned from our 2nd visit to this hotel. It didnt fail to please us.. The hotel is adult only in a quiet bay location just 20min stroll into town or has the option of booking a speed boat for a fee across the bay. Alternatively there is a taxi bay outside and a bus stop to nearby towns. The hotel has a new very polite and friendly young manager Nikos...always on hand and eager to assist to ensure your stay is enjoyable. If you have only booked bed and breakfast its worth staying for that evening dinner. The evening buffet has been updated to a lovely cretan menu ensuring you have a wonderful taste of crete food. It has a covered open air restaurant for breakfast and dinner with spectacular views. A lovely place to dine with very friendly staff. With 2 very clean pools there is also a pool bar which has amazing views and serves light snacks and drinks throughout the day. There is no entertainment in the bar in evening which apparently is being looked into. However, this suits us as we like to chill out, relax and chat amongst other hotel guests and staff. Our room with a balcony over looked the sea. Christina was there everyday to freshen the bedding and towels in her art display. A lovely welcome. The friendliness of all the very happy staff made us feel like we were part of their family. By the end of our stay we knew everyones name including the kitchen staff. We as so looking forward to returning again.
Amazing hotel
Stayed at this hotel for the first time from 4th of June for 2 weeks...Cannot say one negative thing about this hotel...The staff were amazing ...big shout out to Irenee Sophia Shaun Cha Domeetri and Christina and all other staff....we have booked to go back next year.10 out of 10
Lovely peaceful hotel.
This hotel was clean, spacious and perfect for couples. Two swimming pools with comfortable sun loungers. Breakfast offers a huge selection and all of the staff went out of their way to accommodate us.
Superb unique hotel, would highly recommend
This was our 2nd stay at this fabulous hotel. It is situated by the sea and just an hour journey private transfer from Heraklion airport. Every member of staff “the team” were incredibly helpful and friendly as well as respectful and polite on all occasions. The breakfast in the open air restaurant, lunch time drinks in the open air bar, all served with care and added shared laughter made it all the more enjoyable. The pool area is spacious and quiet, comfortable sun beds and that added touch of lovely soft beach towels supplied daily. We were made very welcome indeed, and have only genuine thanks for the hospitality we received in every aspect. Nicos the manager is the most sincerely caring gentleman who goes over and above his duty, to make the stay at this hotel truly memorable. Our room was beautiful, and exceptionally clean with crisp white sheets changed daily. Christina our room lady takes her job seriously and everything is done with love and care. We cannot say enough about the way this hotel is run under the management of Nicos. It is completely unique in what it offers and we give heartfelt thank you’s to you all at the Vasia Ormos Agias Nikolas . If we travel anywhere on holiday next year it will be back to you all, thank you again with our love. Pamela and Frank xx

Exceptional....we'll be back!
My sister and I stayed for 9 nights and staff couldn't do enough for us. The first night we were booked into a double but the next night we were moved to a good sized twin room. It was cleaned every day with little sculptures made with the towels left by the wonderful cleaner. The bar staff were the best, making out late lunches so enjoyable. We were greeted every morning with the friendly restaurant staff. On the last day we were allowed to stay in our room free of charge as we were leaving at a later time.
