This complex is located close to the sea and the sprawling pebble beach on the island of Crete. The complex is situated within easy access of a host of restaurants, taverns and shops. The town of Rethymnon is located just 6 km away. Links to the public transport network are to be found nearby. Chania International Airport lies some 73 km away. This wonderful complex tempts guests into a world of luxury and style. The guest accommodation options are beautifully appointed in a Cretan style, and are well equipped with modern amenities such as a TV, a hairdryer, a mini fridge and enjoy views over the Cretan Sea. Guests are invited to take advantage of the wide range of facilities and services that the hotel has to offer and are also assured of a truly enjoyable during the stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Amazing time, amazing team, amazing food, , amazing amenities, we cannot wait to come back! This was our 5th time coming and second time coming this years and we cannot wait to come back.
Just got back from our first visit to Crete. Stayed at this wonderful hotel - staff are friendly, happy and willing and able to converse in enough English for us to understand. Even better if you’re willing to try some Greek words.
The rooms were always very clean and the towels and beds etc well made/fresh.
Food was fresh and well presented - they tended to have a themed night such as fish or international. Not great choice for vegans but we kind of expected that though the bits they did put on when there were very good but most times lacked a protein source.
Beach area was well looked after and maintained as was the pool area and being a slightly smaller hotel there was always space on the loungers in either location and a nice chilled and relaxed atmosphere to the place. The beach has sandy strips but the bit just before the water is made up of small pedals . The sea bed is worn stone and irregular and quite shallow for the first 40 metres or so at least. But very pleasant.
Pool is very deep - not much of it I could stand up in and I'm 6ft 3in.
Lovely and quiet location and plenty of day trips you can book with reception- bear in mind you will need to pay cash for those.
The pool side bar is a treat and again always staffed by warm and friendly staff.
Only negative is that rooms are advertised as having a safe - they do but you have to pay 2 euro a day for a key from reception to use them. Not made aware of this by travel agent - you then have to keep a small key with you rather than remember a code for the safe.
Local shops good especially on the main road - the coffee and bakery place was good as was Kouros supermarket.
The two trips we took part in were amazing as was catching the bus into Rethimno which was 2.20 euro each way per person and worth an explore.
All in all a great place to stay with only a tiny negative.
Would we go again? Yes, but I think they need to think of more menu choices but maybe thats me being very picky and probably not in Cretan culture and we did get by.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, and the beach was large, beautiful and very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our time here and were very happy with our experience. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to come back again!
Fantastic relaxing break. Great location, plenty of sun beds around pool and on beach. Great selection of food and drinks. Staff were all very friendly. Would recommend others to visit if they want to switch off and chill.
We enjoyed our week here. It's not a large hotel with huge facilities, but what it does it does very well. The pool is actually fine, despite some reviews to the contrary and the sunbed sets on the beach are fine. These are free to Adele Beach guests and where the beds are situated it's sandy. However, the beach generally is shingle and sand shoes are recommended. The beach has water sports available from a nearby supplier - jet skis etc., not free, of course, but plenty of options. The restaurant food was really very good, with lots of choices and benefits from self serve wine, beer and other hot and cold drinks. Our room was 612, a partial sea view, and it had the sun on the balcony in the morning and at the rear of the balcony in the afternoon. This was early July when the sun was high in the sky. The room had reasonable storage, not necessarily all cupboard space, but using a long open rail. We managed to store all our stuff without issue. The bathroom was perhaps a tad on the small size but perfectly adequate for a couple. As was the room, not the largest we have ever stopped in, but again perfectly acceptable for a couple. Also, the housekeeping was good and kept the room, which was very clean, in top condition. The room was in a quiet location, but then again I wouldn't describe this property as noisy in any event. The hotel is within easy walking distance of bars, shops, restaurants and supermarkets which are located nearby in this small resort area. We liked the Adele Beach and can recommend to others looking for a relaxing holiday.
