The hotel is ideal for couples, families and groups of friends and is located in a spacious garden setting just outside the traditional fishing village of Roda, in North Corfu. This modern hotel extends a warm welcome to guests and provides a host of amenities and leisure facilities to ensure an unforgettable holiday. The hotel is run in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, owned and operated by the founding family. The hotel has comfortable rooms and a unique, bridge-flanked, free-shaped swimming pool, where guests can relax in the shade or in the sun after exploring the Island of Corfu.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We came last year and rebooked as soon as we got home, it is a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. We have already planned to return next year.
Rooms are very clean and spacious with a balcony, new bathrooms and powerful shower.
The breakfast is still great, Spirros still greets you each morning with a beaming smile and fantastic hospitality. Vivi still on the pool bar working extremely hard but always with a smile and time to talk, she also remembered us from last year which was very touching. Maria on the inside bar in the evenings is just the same, nothing is too much trouble. The owner is fantastic, always taking time out of his day to speak with us and goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, his daughter sang one evening and was absolutely brilliant! The receptionist was new this year but also a delight.
Food in Roda is great, especially recommend Nico’s family & Roda Park for the meals and also Greek nights! Roxanne’s is the place to be for a beach day, just turn up for a free luxury lounger and reasonably priced service all day from the restaurant.
We can’t wait to come back next September!
Cannot fault our stay at Pegasus hotel. Extremely friendly family hotel with a fabulous pool! Location was great, less than a 10 minute walk away from the beach, rooms were immaculate, and recently renovated. All the hotel staff are lovely and helpful, always ready to have a chat. But the pool area was definitely the highlight! We spent so much time there! Shallow end for children and a deeper end for adults. Our daughter loved every second she spent at the pool. Pool bar and snack bar have a good selection of drinks and snacks, even watermelon, and at very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend especially if travelling with little ones! We would be more than happy to stay at Pegasus again, great value in every way!
Great hotel, very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool is lovely and well maintained. Very chilled. 10 min walk to Roda. The hotel lacked a bit of atmosphere in evenings at bar, most people tend to go into Roda itself. You have to pay extra for aircon but hotel do better deals which include aircon and hotel transfer in price. Snack bar at pool is good and reasonably priced, drinks good prices too. Would def return
Stayed at the Pegasus for 10 nights in August.
Great location, supermarket across the road and walk to the beach/restautants 10 mins.
Lovely welcome and reception area.
Room was quite small for 3 of us, but did the job. Our room was close to the reception, so was noisy in the mornings.
Cleanliness: Beds were made most days but the bathroom, the bedroom or balcony wasn’t swept or mopped. The vanity unit wasn’t cleaned nor the toilet. The bathroom was more like a wet room only had one side with a door on the shower so the bathroom would end up soaked after a shower. The water would take ages to run away into the drains too after a shower. The pool area was clean but bins were often overflowing and not emptied regularly enough.
Sunbeds became a problem about 5 days into the holiday so had to get up early to reserve beds. People would come in and use them even if they weren’t staying at the hotel. Seemed unfair when we had to paid to stay there. There were lots of complexes around offering Sunbeds and pool access, but Pegasus did not advertise this, however wasn’t managed either.
Snack bar - food was good, lots of choice, reasonably priced. However, the lady at the snack bar shouted at my daughter when she asked for brown sauce, which was then awkward for the rest of the holiday. Other staff were ok, but not overly friendly. Pool and snack bar closes at 6pm.
Breakfast - basic continental, eggs, beans or sausages, yogurts, fruits.
Air con - payable on arrival. Ours leaked the first night so couldn’t use it. We had a fan from the reception area but was so loud! Air con was repaired quickly the next day.
Swimming pool - lovely big lagoon pool, water was quite murky, and it needed a good clean. Couldn’t see the bottom of the pool in the deep end.
Would we stay here again? No - we chose those hotel as it was small and for its location but it didn’t live up to expectations unfortunately.
Great location. short walk into town and beach. Biggest pool in Roda. Fantastic warm welcome from Spiros and his crew. Such a delight to see such support and enthusiasm. I have seen some low reviews for this place, but compared to more expensive hotels this place is a bargain and fits the bill. Family fun at a great price. Let’s of families buy the size of the hotel and great buildings mean that you cannot hear your neighbour - so a grey night sleep guaranteed. Great comfortable clean rooms. Made spotless daily by the super cleaning team. Great breakfast array daily, considering it is included. Great vibes by the pool and nice pool bar and snacks available. Also the location was fantastic for us. Short journeys to tour the both of Corfu by car or ease of access to the bus. Thank you again Spiros and the whole of your team that made me and my family’s stay so welcome. So happy we have already booked again for next year.
