The family-friendly hotel enjoys an ideal situation frontline to the pebbly beach of Messonghi on the eastern coast of Corfu Island, between the unspoilt greenery and lush mountains on one side and the eternal blue of the Ionian Sea on the other side. It is located between the villages of Messonghi and Moraitika. Corfu Town is about 22km away and can get reached within 45minutes by public bus.
The hotel offers classically decorated rooms, amenities include wireless internet access and a furnished balcony or terrace with unobstructed views of the landscaped garden or the sea. The hotel itself:
The hotel is huge, lots of different spots to grab snacks and drinks throughout the day. Lots of pools although we didn’t use them as they were mainly occupied by families, The beach was perfect and we always managed to get a lounger
Rooms are a good size, we were in the twin block. Beds aren’t the comfiest and you only get three thin pillows between two people (I’m sure you could ask for more) Good size mini fridge in the room was a nice touch Safe in room but ours was locked (again I’m sure we could have asked)
The food:
Food was decent, plenty of choices throughout and decent quality food too
Although some strange choices at times, lots of turkey Beach restaurant is better than the main restaurant
The cocktails were a bit same same, very sweet They do an iced frappe at the beach bar though which was great!
Beer and white wine was not good. Sparkling wine was better
The guests:
The guests are what let this place down, mainly the brits… (we are brits too and we were embarrassed by them) Clearly the all inclusive was too much for most of them and most were constantly off their faces, shouting until 3am and playing loud music anywhere they could. I appreciate they’re on holiday but it just seemed to be like it was their own personal resort and they didn’t care how it affected those around them

team! ❤️ This was our fourth stay at your hotel, and we can honestly say that we wouldn’t choose anywhere else. Every visit feels special, thanks to the warm hospitality, kindness and genuine care of your wonderful team. Our special thanks and warmest greetings go to Eleni from the restaurant and her sister, whom I believe is called Evgenia, as well as to the entire restaurant team. We would also like to thank everyone at the reception for their professionalism, friendliness and welcoming smiles. A special thank you to Kemal, who kindly helped us with translation from Russian. We also had the pleasure of meeting Christos at the pizza bar, who made a wonderful impression on us. Our warm regards go to the team at the main bar as well. Unfortunately, we don’t remember the names of the older gentleman behind the bar and the lovely girl with curly hair and a beautiful smile, but we certainly remember their kindness and excellent service. And last but certainly not least, our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Maria, who surprised me with a lovely gift. Her thoughtful gesture touched me deeply and made our stay even more memorable. ❤️ If I remember correctly, we stayed in room 776. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome and for giving us another beautiful holiday to remember. This hotel is much more than just a place to stay — it is a place we have grown fond of and happily return to, time and time again. Until we meet again! Warmest wishes to you all. 🇬🇷❤️

I had the most amazing 10 days at Mitsis Messonghi! Wonderful hotel with an amazing location. All hotel’ personal are very well mannered, kind and attentive. I would like to mention them all for their exceptional services - management team, reception staff, the restaurant staff, cleaning team! Would like also to mention Mikaela from the main restaurant for her services kind approach! Can’t wait to get back next year!

The location is very close to local beaches with shops and gift shops nearby. The rooms have mostly everything required. I booked through on the beach so the prices are different compared to possibly the website. The service is impeccable woman at reception dealt with me half asleep as I was awake for 25 hours. Lady on inside bar very friendly always with a friendly smile. As I celebrated my birthday I walked into one night to a birthday cake.

Don't waste money going here!!!!!!
WHERE DO I START???? Upon 1st glance the hotel looks lovely, once you step inside you are struck with a nice reception. At check in, you are given an old fashioned key, no card here. After check in, you goto the elevator which dates back to when god was a boy. Small, cramped, rickety, only allowed 3 person at 1 time. When we got to our room and opened the door we were immediately stuck by a huge whaft of stall urine. Back to reception, we went complained and were offered another room, we went to check this one out. This room didn't smell too bad. The room itself was soooooo in need of a lick of paint. But then the whole hotel needs redecorating big time. Back to the room, we used the safe which actually was broken and the door dropped so impossible to open again when entering the code which meant having to call reception using the room phone, which we found out DIDN'T WORK!!!!! So after walking to reception getting a man to come to the room open the safe and decide it was broken he replaced the safe with a modern one which worked wonderfully. The room, basic, you get a mini fridge, tv which doesn't have more than a couple of English speaking channels, plenty of German speaking channels. Air con unit in corner of room but never used it. Partner went to used the hairdryer provided, that made a strange noise and got extremely hot and went red, so another trip to reception as phone still NOT working. Got another hairdryer which worked. The bathroom is SO SMALL that you struggle to do anything, the shower cubicle is tiny, too small to even wash comfortably, the cubicle doors on the shower didn't even close properly and water goes on the bathroom floor, on the plus side you can sit in the loo and clean your teeth as the sink is so close if you're lucky enough to have a plug in your sink. Bathroom door keeps closing on you unless you wedge it open. Every day when returning to the room there is a smell of sewerage from the drainage system. Staff are friendly, hard working. Reception staff seem arrogant and look down their nose at folk. Food dire, breakfast cold, no covers over food to keep hot or flies, wasps off. Lunch is like a bun fight if pick wrong time. Dinner is even worse, with other nationalities is the hotel, there is no queuing from them, just pushing in. And at one time we went to dinner and there was no plates to go and get food. Plenty of choice for things, just most of it is cold. If you choose to have dinner at the wrong time then good god, you are in for an experience, kids running around the restaurant. There is a member of staff stood at the enterance to the restaurant, god knows what her job is???? as she appears to do nothing but stand and smile. Pools; plenty of them. Pool we were at was bloody freezing, pool with slides (generally with lots of children there) is heated and a couple out the other side of hotel are supposedly heated too. Chloes bar by pool was ok. Pasta bar and pizza bar at the far end of the garden are really nice and preferred eating from there than going into the restaurant for lunch. Entertainment, take ear plugs and just have an early night. DIRE at best!!!!! Unless you like people watching. Finding a seat is the most entertainment you'll get, no where near enough seating and tables. Goodness knows what high season is like????? In Summary, SAFE YOUR CASH!!!!! 2 STAR AT BEST.
