Exceptional and unforgettable!
A repeat visit for us from the UK as we were guests in 2019 just after this hotel had opened as a boutique in 2018 and Makris was the only restaurant! On his welcome card this time, General Manager Nikos Margaritis wished us an exceptional and unforgettable experience. We had just that and so much more. The coast is, as it has always been - breathtaking, as are the gardens and grounds. We loved seeing the cats well looked after by the grounds team especially Yuki the pure white cat. We were delighted to breakfast at 1962 and to dine at Makris but missed out on Raw (so we must come back again!) The extended facilities and the events and evening musicians were all talented and made for a fabulous cocktail hour. The staff and their real commitment to luxury service here are outstanding. Aurelia in the Haute Living lounge gets a special mention for her kindness and determination to make every moment a 5* one. She is knowledgeable about the hotel and the island and highly skilled socially. Mulțumesc din suflet to Aurelia and eυχαριστώ to Nikos and this season’s team. You may not think this, but we can see how hard you all work. So, have a good rest after the season finishes in October. See you next time!
Olive Trees, Luxury Environment & Amazing Staff
I am regrettably about to depart this amazing hotel. After a brief six day break at the Domes Moraitika, Corfu, this resort deserves my personal five star review.
The hotel provides quality amenities in a stunning location. Whilst the hotel has two main buildings, I would definitely suggest that the garden & sea view Emerald zone rooms are the better option.
What makes this hotel a unique and pleasurable experience are the staff. I'm going to mention a few. Panos. His welcome, attentive nature and personality as the front door host. Theodoros. Host, guide, friendly face at guest services. Theotokis. Guest Relations for his helpful communications and ensuring my stay was without any issues. But, the absolute stars during my stay were Natalia and the 'pajama girls' who make sure everyone is greeted with a smile (you'll have to stay @ Domes to understand that comment). Finally, Kristina who made every excellent meal I had at the 1962 Restaurant comfortable and relaxing.
The Domes Moraitika offers a choice of dining. All restaurants cater for every taste and cuisine. The resort has a maintained pool area and very comfortable, clean, bright and spacious accommodation. The landscaped gardens, olive trees add the the relaxing and attractive setting.
Any negatives. I would suggest, as others have, that the the pool bar adjacent to Restaurant 1962 is open in the evenings. After a meal it would be nice to relax, admire the sea view and enjoy a nightcap.
Apart from that comment, I'd rate this hotel on a par with any luxury 5* resort hotel in Dubai with its unique appeal, facilities, food and restaurants. However, the staff, environment and location are exemplary. Highly recommended.

Style and Substance
A stylish, relaxing hotel offering genuine luxury...loved the artwork, the range of food options, and the sense of space, despite being their in high season..the Makris restaurant was a specific highlight, combining a few really outstanding "haute cuisine" with some, quality, more accessible dishes. Staff are generally young, but all pleasant and capable. Coffee and fresh Orange juice, those "pit canaries" of a quality breakfast, were good...Pianist at breakfast was both unobtrusive and enjoyable, other evening Events sadly quite underscubscribed, not sure why. If I had to force a negative, half the hotel is the other side of a busy road, wilst there are lifts and tunnel to avoid a sprint in your Sunday best, its something to be aware of....
1st time visitors - Corfu
Great experience at this beautiful resort. We do not ordinarily go to the Meditteranean and usually go to more exotic destinations for holidays but for this place we'd be willing to make an exemption yet again. Staff were super friendly, the gardens beautifully kept and the facilities overall well maintained. Not much more one can ask for, thank you GM & team
Excellent Hotel
Me and my husband and two daughters (16 & 24) have just returned from a 10 day break at the Dommes. First impression of the hotel was very good. The hotel reception and inside bar area was very modern, clean and thankfully air conditioned to the coolest setting. Our rooms were spacious and clean. We were in the building set back from the main hotel building which involved a lift and tunnel walkway to get to. This became a bit tiresome towards the end of the holiday so we crossed the road, which was sometimes extremely busy.! The Panorama pool was excellent, clean, very chilled with loads of sunbeds available all day. The waitress service was excellent. The beach was really lovely, calm waters, with a beach bar and good waiter service also. The location of the hotel isnt great. There isn’t much nearby, a supermarket 10 min walk away. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus to Corfu town but they charge for this per room so it worked out cheaper for us to get a taxi to places. We hired a car for a few days too and visited some great places. We only booked bed and breakfast as we like to go out in the evenings for dinner however we did eat at the hotel restaurant on the first night which was excellent, the Japanese restaurant (Raw) and the Italian were also very good albeit pricey. The only negatives would have to be the outside bar area. We felt like the hotel reception, inside areas were very stylish etc however there weren’t many tables outside and it lacked atmosphere, for a spot with beautiful views of the ocean it could be so much more. It was a quiet hotel with lots of couples etc which we expected at a adults only hotel but we felt it didn’t have a ‘buzz’ about it in the evenings. The beach bar closes at 6pm which we felt was a shame as the seating there, right on the beach, would make for a lovely atmosphere. This didn’t have any impact on our holiday as we went out most evenings. The lunch menu lacked choice, especially by the Panorama Pool. We sometimes just wanted a sandwich or some Pitta bread with dips but a lot of the menu was big meals which we didn’t fancy in the heat of the day. However, overall, we found the hotel to be excellent and would stay again. I’d like to give a special mention to the lady who worked at the Panorma pool, name began with P ( apologies but wouldn’t want to spell it wrong) she was so accommodating and provided excellent service.
