The most wonderful resort. Beautiful breakfast, lunch, dinner in the restaurant or the beachbar. The staff is wonderful and so nice from cleaners, waiters, beachpersonal, Reception, managers, and baggagepersonal. We were treated so well and will come back for the 6.time i 2027. Helen in the beachbar are so sweet and helpful -and we enjoyed talking to her Everybody did there best to make our holiday wonderful and we are very grateful We have nothing bad ti say about this amazing
This was our sixth holiday at The Olivar. It is simply the best hotel we have ever been to and we have visited many all over the world. The Oliver manages to combine outstanding service with great food, beautiful comfortable rooms, a superb position on the island, within walking distance of restaurants and bars and the best of all, staff who have been here for years and welcome you back as a member of The Olivar family. Simply brilliant. We will be visiting for many more years.
Having been here before, I already knew what to expect, consistency definitely confirmed! One visit can’t possibly do it justice. From Check in, with the dedicated guest relations’ team: Irene, Christiana, Spiros etc to housekeeping all thorough and teams lovely. Fantastic sustainability policy here, lack of plastics and bespoke guest focused regime of laundering linen etc, not all guests require change of bedding or turn down, daily. This commitment to protecting the environment is so important and is in evidence around site. The fact that the integrity of the area has been honoured- original olive trees preserved and great care and respect shown in the carefully curated site 👏 The restaurant “Flya” offering genuine Corfiot dishes, new to me, tasty whether for breakfast or dinner. The young team are so warm and I was amazed that young Spiros was a trainee, well trained indeed! Lovely manner and a credit to Evangelos and Demitris. The music, at breakfast so welcome, offering a soothing but inspiring start to the day. Talented and versatile musicians in evidence also at Olibar at night. Fantastic Saxophonist, Paul and a wonderful jazz ensemble “Euphoria” Lovely to enjoy this entertainment whilst sipping drinks on beach, delivered by dedicated bar team, great people! The suites fabulous: spacious, well appointed and pools and gardens incredible. We’re not typically people who would opt for a “Beach holiday” but this is so much more than that. Lovely to see young parents and children enjoying all this unique place has to offer… Many thanks to entire team, every one of them seems genuinely dedicated to guest enjoyment. A real credit to the leadership of the management in general, the General Manager in particular. Return visit an inevitability 😊
An unforgettable stay at The Olivar Suites – yet again!
This wasn’t our first time at The Olivar Suites, and once again the hotel exceeded our expectations. Our private pool, the sea view right in front of us made every morning feel magical. We stayed for almost a week, but honestly, a month wouldn’t have been enough!
The restaurant and bar were fantastic, and the food was better than ever – every meal felt like a treat.
The true highlight, as always, was the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help, especially Alexandra, Fotis, and Konstantina at the bar, who went above and beyond for us and our one-year-old baby. Their kindness and attentiveness made us feel completely at home.
We can’t wait to return in September. Thank you for another wonderful stay!
We loved everything about this wonderful hotel. The location is perfect, the rooms are lovely and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We were lucky enough to stay in a junior suite with its own small pool. Although Greece, for me, is about the sea, it was a real luxury to return to our room and have a dip in the pool. The sunbeds by the pool were surrounded by lavender plants so the perfume and the exceptionally thick sunbed mattresses made it feel luxurious and tranquil. Our room was well proportioned and comfortable, quality products and linens, towels changed every day and plenty of toiletries replenished daily. The room even has hair straighteners as well as a hairdryer and a plug in mozzie machine. Everything has been well thought through. The majority of the accommodation is surrounded by beautiful old olive trees, foliage and flowers and it’s a very short walk across the lower road to the restaurant, beach bar, pool and beach. Plenty of sunbeds with comfortable mattresses and the parasol has a button to push to order drinks without even having to leave your sunbed. The beach itself is private with gentle and fairly shallow clear clean sea and at either end there are tavernas and bars. Breakfast was plentiful with a great variety of hot and cold choices. Within walking distance of the beach and hotel were plenty of tavernas, a well stocked supermarket and gift shop. We had a truly relaxing holiday and felt well looked after and welcomed by staff and locals. The photos on the website do not do this wonderful hotel justice. It’s hard to capture just how lovely it is. Everyone you meet in Corfu is on their third or fourth visit, often more, and there is definitely a reason why people return to this beautiful island.
