This resort is located on its private peninsula, right on the edge of the Ionian Sea and in between the towns of Dassia and Gouvia. Previously a favoured retreat for the European royalties, this island hideaway provides the perfect setting for spa treatments or a special holiday away from the eyes of the crowds. Its guests can also take advantage of the high-end shopping opportunities including a jewellery shop, clothes boutique and a hairdresser. While those who want to perfect their tan can do it at any of the 3 private sandy beaches or the large outdoor pool. All of its rooms treat to superb vistas, to the right one can admire sweeping views over Corfu and the yachting marina in Gouves, whilst on the left is the Gulf of Dassia and the mountains of mainland Greece. The dining options combine exclusive waterfront settings and award-winning chefs.

The last Hara
Nothing nicer than a night in the Imperial to round off a perfect week sailing around Corfu! Great staff, beautiful gardens and a lovely ambiance. A trip to the spa was the highlight of my stay ….two great treatments…indulgent but restorative! Thank you Sophie, Alkistis and Georgia ……a job well done!

From the moment you enter the resort's main entrance and pass through reception, you are greeted with smiles and a warm welcome, with every detail of your stay attended to. It is a truly beautiful and stunning hotel—boasting great views, an excellent location, and impeccable cleanliness—that truly deserves to be ranked number one in Greece and its islands.

Outstanding
When your taxi driver tells you that you are heading to the best hotel on the island, expectations are naturally high. The Corfu Imperial certainly lives up to them.
Set on its own peninsula, with stunning views across the bay and out to sea, the hotel occupies a little piece of paradise. The grounds are immaculate, with beautifully maintained, fragrant gardens and countless peaceful spots to sit and unwind, alongside the lovely swimming pools.
The food was exceptional in every restaurant we visited, and the breakfast buffet was presented in one of the most elegant settings I have ever seen.
Our swim-up bungalow was spotlessly cleaned each day, with an exceptionally comfortable bed and a pillow menu offering an extra touch of luxury. The excellent gym is open 24 hours a day, with helpful staff available from 7 am to 5 pm.
What truly makes the Imperial special, however, is its people. From reception to the pool team, the staff are dedicated hospitality professionals, delivering service that equals—and often surpasses—that of many five-star London hotels.
I would happily mention everyone, but a few deserve particular recognition. Both Foteinis were wonderful: one at reception, who simply could not do enough for us, and the other, whom we understand works in the Italian restaurant but seemed to appear everywhere, from breakfast through to a nightcap in the cocktail bar. Their smiles, warmth and kindness were a highlight of our stay.
Special thanks also go to Christina and Anastasia in the restaurant, who helped make my wife’s birthday so memorable.
Thank you to everyone at the Corfu Imperial for one of the most relaxing and enjoyable weeks I have ever had.

Another exceptional stay — and wonderful service from Grecotel & Black Stars Chauffeurs
I’ve just returned from my third stay at Grecotel Corfu Imperial, and once again, it was an exceptional holiday. The standard of service across every part of the hotel is outstanding, from the immaculate, beautifully maintained rooms to the exceptional food and the warm, personal welcome from the staff.
This time, I brought my mum and brother as a treat to celebrate their milestone birthdays: a belated 21st for my brother and an early 60th for my mum. They both said they had never stayed anywhere quite like it. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Corfu Imperial for making the occasion so special for them.
I also want to mention Black Stars, the luxury chauffeur service I first discovered through the hotel and have now used for several years. Their service consistently matches the high standards of the Imperial. They always arrive early, the cars are immaculate, and every journey feels comfortable and effortless.
A special thank you to Fanouris, whose personal service is exceptional. He is always smartly presented, speaks excellent English, and makes us feel at home and welcome from the moment we arrive in Greece. From airport transfers to trips across the island, he has been consistently professional, reliable and a pleasure to travel with.
