Great hotel in a residential area of town, frequented by locals
Lovely traditional style hotel in a residential area of Corfu Town. Yes the pool is quite small with a limited number of sunbeds but it is the only hotel in town with a pool and is adequate for dipping in and out to cool off. The bathroom was quite small and dated but it didn’t spoil our stay. We were given a room with a beautiful sea view which we did not expect. The whole place was kept immaculately clean. The highlight was the dining experiences, plenty of freshly prepared and cooked food at both breakfast and in the evening, with very helpful staff who seemed happy and proud to be working here. In the evenings it was noticeable that many locals were eating in the restaurant. There are a lot of smaller family run tavernas in the near vicinity which we also visited. It was also a relatively short - if warm at this time of year - walk both in and out of town, though some lovely shaded parts and parks, alongside the waterfront. We would definitely book to come back.

Well located, good service.
Lovely hotel. Friendly staff, simple check in, great breakfast! Located about 30 minutes walk from the centre of Corfu Town. Good restaurants nearby. Small pool that we didn’t get the chance to use as loungers were always full but lovely restaurant across the road with plenty of loungers and sea access.

Hotel is in a lovely location with a frequent bus service into Corfu town. Taxis are very reasonably priced too. The staff at the hotel are excellent, cheerful and very helpful. Breakfast is really good with plenty of choice. The downside is that the bedrooms are tired looking and there is not nearly enough wardrobe or drawer space for two people, could also do with better soundproofing. The bathrooms need some serious upgrading. The bath is narrow and feels quite awkward/unsafe when having a shower. Bathroom also needs a bit more storage space for toiletries. Such a shame when the other parts of the hotel have been refurbished to a high standard. Lovely spacious bar area and large breakfast room.

4th visit to our Happy Place
We have just returned from another fabulous holiday at Mon Repos Palace hotel, our 4th visit! We want to especially mention Leena on reception, who always makes us feel so valued and remembered in fact all the staff are incredible and so accommodating. The hotel is lovely, clean and full of character and charm, we had a great room on the 4th floor overlooking the sea, Corfu old town, and the fortress. Breakfast is absolutely first class, with an incredible variety of fresh, delicious food on offer. The hotel is perfectly located just steps from the seafront, and a 25 minute walk into the old town although taxis and buses are available too. The pool area, while not large and with a limited number of sunbeds, suits the hotel. The hotel bar serves excellent cocktails at very reasonable prices. There are a few supermarkets within easy walking distance, along with plenty of excellent restaurants and Tavernas if, like us, you choose the bed and breakfast option. Mon Repos is a wonderful area to stay so peaceful, picturesque, and just a five-minute taxi ride from the airport.

Miserable felt like nomads we went to fly and flop but nowhere to flop
This hotel isn’t fit for purpose it stank of sewage the whole time has 110 bedrooms so 200 people staying with 12 sunbeds and a pool the size of a jacuzzi the carpets in the corridors and decor in the bedrooms are deplorable the surrounding area was like a ghetto I would even give this 1star never mind 4/5 The receptionist were rude apart from 1 The staff in the restaurant bar and the cleaners were lovely and they deserve better Wouldn’t go back even if you paid me
