This bright beachfront property places its guests at the perfect location for a sun-soaked holiday. They will be at just 20 metres from the sun loungers and the sandy strip, where they can spend their days simply relaxing and enjoying the perfect weather. Onsite they can also find a fresh-water swimming pool with large pool terrace equipped with umbrellas, sun beds and a shady garden offering an escape from the crowds and the noise. The youngest guests will have their very own pool and a children area where they can have fun all day long, while they parents keep an eye on them from the nearby snack bar. The centre of the village of Benitses is a short 5-minute walk away and there one can find a large selection of restaurants and bars, but the hotel's very own dining venue offers a taste of the best of the Greek cuisine and beverages.

Food a big let down
Was on holiday with my daughter her husband and 9 year old granddaughter on arrival we were given room 109, spectacular view but unfortunately the room looked out onto the entertainment area, which meant we didn't start to get to sleep till about 12.45am because of the noise, it had been a very full day and we were all desperate to get to sleep, my granddaughter was very upset by this, my daughter spoke to reception early next morning and we were moved to the rear of the hotel with a wonderful mountain view, hotel very dated and could do with a make over, hotel very clean and towels changed daily, very little space to store clothes, ended up piling clothes on the two chairs in the room, for three adults and one child it was a bit of a pain, the food choice was very poor and we ate out often, it would of been nice to of had a choice of desert in the evening, all we had was watermelon or watermelon, I have stayed in a lot of 3 star hotels in the past but food wise this one was by far the worst, I will not be coming back here again.

Honest Review – Potamaki Beach Hotel, Benitses, Corfu
Location, location, location!
We had a really enjoyable stay at Potamaki Beach Hotel. If you’re looking for a luxury, modern hotel, this probably isn’t for you. The bedrooms are a little dated and could do with some TLC, and our shower cubicle was very small with a shower curtain.
BUT… the positives definitely outweighed the negatives for us.
The staff were excellent – friendly, helpful and always happy to assist. Our room was cleaned every day and we had a clean bed and fresh towels daily, which is important to me.
The breakfast had something for everyone. It might not be gourmet, but you certainly won’t go hungry! There’s also entertainment on most evenings, which adds to the atmosphere.
And then there’s the location…
Around 3 minutes’ walk to the main street, with plenty of restaurants and bars.
Supermarket and gift shop right next door.
Beach literally straight across the road.
Sun loungers around £14 for two, including two drinks.
You’re also right in the heart of Benitses, so it’s easy to get out and explore.
Overall, I’d say Potamaki is a good-value hotel in a fantastic location. Yes, the rooms are a little tired and the bathrooms are small, but if you’re the sort of person who spends most of your holiday out enjoying the beach, restaurants and Corfu rather than sitting in your room, I think it’s a great choice.
We’d definitely consider going back.

Holiday paradise
Potamaki Hotel exceeded our expectations! The room, the view, and the hospitality were all outstanding. A big thank you to every member of the team, especially Mr. Mahos and Mrs. Mani. The hotel has been around for some years, but the staff are very kind and very helpful, every and each one. Thank you for that, and we enjoyed being your guests. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to come back soon!
perfect place we keep going back to
love this hotel, the location is perfect, sat in the middle of a wonderful village packed with great eateries, unique little shops and boutiques and convenient supermarkets. right by the sea and when you float out in that crystal clear water and look back, the view is stunning with the mountains rising behind the village. the staff at the hotel are fantastic, charming, friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Already booked again for next year.
