This hotel is situated directly on the beach (around 200 m away) and in the middle of the tourist district of Paphos. There are countless shops, bars, nightclubs, taverns and restaurants to be found in the immediate vicinity. Kato Paphos is around 3 km away and Paphos, with its harbour, is 4 km from the hotel. Links to the public transport network are located directly in front of the hotel.
Last renovated in 2020, this hotel comprises of 422 rooms. The facilities include a 24-hour reception and 6 lifts. There is also a café, a shop, a bar, a nightclub, a games room, a TV room, an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area, free wi-fi connection and car hire. There is also a car park as well as a children's playground. A kids' club for those aged from 3 to 12 years of age is also available. The rooms come with a bathroom with hairdryer. In addition, there is a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a mini-fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, free pool/beach towels, air conditioning, a hire safe, central heating and a balcony or terrace.
Guests will find a swimming pool, a children's paddling area as well as a snack bar, a terrace with parasols and sun loungers. Leisure facilities also include an indoor swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a steam room, a sauna, 2 tennis courts and a gym. Sport enthusiasts may play a game or table tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, darts, bocce or badminton. For an additional fee, guests may take advantage of the billiards/ snooker, green bowls, cards room for bridge players and massage service. On the beach, guests are offered sun loungers, parasols, windsurfing, canoeing and pedalos may also be tried out. An entertainment programme rounds off the diverse range of leisure offers. The hotel has a water park which is free for hotel guests only, and operates from first May—till End October. It includes 2 outdoor swimming pools, 2 outdoor kids pools, one of which has splash pool and accommodate 8 waters games.

Great hotel
Spent a week at the Louis Phaethon with hubby & we both thoroughly enjoyed it.
Food was probably the best we've experienced at an all inclusive. If you're a Brit that's not adventurous with your food, no need to worry, there's a roast of either pork, gammon, beef or lamb on every day.
There are 2 big pools - one with music/entertainment and the other with a few great slides. There's also a smaller kids' pool.
Sunbeds around the entertainment pool all had towels on them in the mornings without a single body on them! I don't like that. If you're eating breakfast or lunch you don't need a sunlounger at that time!
The hotel is on the sea front and has stairs to get down from the rocky edge, but take pool shoes if you want to get in from that point. Alternatively, you can walk 250 yards to the left where there's a municiple sandy beach with easier access.
Our standard twin room was lovely but small. Not a problem though as didn't spend much time in it. There is a safe but charged at 3€ per night.
There was usually 2 forms of entertainment on at night, an outside act (singer/musician) in the bar area & the hotel entertainment team performing downstairs in the Chariots room.
Have to say, we usually find 'in-house entertainment team stuff' painful to watch so wasn't looking forward to it - but they were actually pretty good and we both enjoyed it. We were entertained!
Finally, the standout positive point at this place is without doubt the staff. They're all pleasant, chatty & helpful. Rarely had to get my own drink from the bar! Reading reviews before booking, I wondered what on earth Ahmed was doing in the restaurant to get so many lovely compliments... and now I know. He has to be the most polite, friendly, helpful member of staff I've ever encountered at a hotel. Remembers everyone's name and gives that unique personal touch.
The staff all deserve 5 stars but giving 4 overall as have been to places of a similar price point (not in Cyprus) that blew my socks off.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and price dependent, we'd happily return.

Excellent hotel and staff
I have been going to this hotel for 25 years. This visit was just as good as the first one. Mr.P,Rudi and Michael are excellent managers. Chef,Stavros and all the restaurants staff are so attentive. The food is first class. Rhodes and bar staff kept getting drinks as soon as needed. My cleaner is so welcoming and kept my room spotless. George and lifeguards kept me safe around the pools. Jamie and the entertainment team are so hardworking and sociable. Altogether a fantastic holiday. Thank you everyone 💓

Absolutely amazing hotel and staff!!
Wow! I had to write a review after such an amazing stay here with family. I have never been to a better all-inclusive. The staff here are something else, so friendly and helpful. Ahmed and Fathy in the dining hall made us feel so welcome. The bar staff were all amazing (I have never had table service at an all-inclusive before?! They even knew our drinks after one serve!!). Just brilliant. Gorgeous hotel with two pools, one with music and allowed inflatables and balls, the other for a quieter day more geared to adults. The rooms were immaculate. We had three rooms, two with a seaview and one with a beautiful view of the mountains. It truly was the best stay, I did not want to leave!!! Thank you Phaethon, we will be back
Just perfect
3rd stay here amazing staff who all work tirelessly to ensure our holiday was perfect , all the staff are exceptional but I have to give a special shout out to Hani a true gentleman, Louie Phaethon you are lucky to have him. A mention for Olympia ( sorry if spelt wrong) but a very special lady works relentlessly in the bar, but I have to say 3 rd visit in 2 years they are all definitely doing something right. The food, the service, it is exceptionally clean everything 5 *and more. ,

Very enjoyable stay at louis phaethon hotel
Very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The food is fantastic, the staff are incredibly friendly (especially Ahmed - this man is one of the most genuinely friendly blokes I've met) and can't do enough for you. Would definitely be back.
