The Imperial Island by Louis Hotels is ideally located on the shore within walking distance of Paphos's busy centre and with magnificent views of the famous harbour and its old castle. It has extensive grounds leading to the sea and these house a swimming pool and vast sunbathing areas. There is also an indoor pool (Heated November to April).

Perfect
We had a wonderful stay at this 5-star hotel. The service, facilities, and overall atmosphere were exceptional, making our holiday truly memorable.
A special thank you to Andri at Ariadne Restaurant, who prepared the most delicious omelettes every morning with a warm smile and great attention to detail. Breakfast was always a highlight of our day because of her.
We would also like to thank Froso from Guest Relations for her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care throughout our stay. She made us feel welcome and ensured everything was perfect.
We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future!
Fantastic 5 star hotel
Location: Perfect, beautiful views of the sea, the sun rise and the sun set. Approx 30 mins to Paphos Airport. Approx 30 minute walk to Paphos harbour. The beach is NOT white soft sand, it is stoney, Sandy and rocky but it’s still beautiful. Really great to have the hotel sunbeds on the beach too!
Atmosphere: We had a wonderful welcome, cases were taken straight to our room whilst we were provided with a refreshing drink whilst the receptionist told us about the hotel. This was done sitting on the tables and not at the reception desk which was a nice touch and change to how you usually check in to hotels! The hotel has a calm and welcoming atmosphere. It is SUPER clean!
Pools: The pools were nice and warm!! I have never known warmer swimming pools! They were also so clean! The indoor pool was cold and refreshing which was really needed in the heat!! They do allow kids in the indoor pool if they are supervised and quiet. No jumping, no ball games and no floats. This was nice even for my own children. The fact it was cold in there really made a difference when it was so hot! The quiet pool also allows children if they are quiet, no splashing, no jumping, no floats and are supervised. It was so nice that I was able to take my kids in there. It was a lovely walk in pool too. Family pool is great too and also the kids splash pool with the slide was great.
Food: Food was great & a good variety of options! Best food we have had on holiday! Very clean and loved actually seeing the chefs cook! It was all very fresh! Honestly fantastic food!!
Staff: OUTSTANDING! I have to mention Derek the lifeguard and Seif who is also a lifeguard and bar man in the evening. My mum, aged 72 was badly sunburnt and they looked after her so well. They consistently went above and beyond every day, providing her with care and special treatment. They were so kind, caring and attentive! Derek also makes great towels displays!! My kids loved the monkey & I loved the flower! He made a great turtle and a cream! He’s very talented! Both of them deserve recognition! They were brilliant!
Rooms: PERFECT! Very clean and a high standard!

Entertainment was great and the costumes were fantastic!
Negatives (there’s not many) The hotel shop sold in our opinion some inappropriate souvenirs which we didn’t think was appropriate for a family 5 star hotel. I stopped going in there because it was so distracting having my kids see these particular rude souvenirs, it’s just not needed! We found the cocktails were not consistent, each time we ordered it was like the bar staff had different interpretations of what each cocktail was, that was a bit disappointing. The mini fridge is full when you arrive and you are told it is topped up throughout the week. When we arrived, we had cartons of apple juice, orange juice, Pepsi, beer and water but throughout the week it was only topped up with water, however when we arrived it was explained to us it is fully refreshed every day.
Other than these small negatives we had an absolutely brilliant holiday!!! Superb hotel!!
Another amazing stay!
By far the best hotel we’ve ever been to! Our sixth visit and it just gets better each time! The renovations they’ve done so far are amazing! The room decor is beautiful and the new sunbeds are fab!
The staff - from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the staff are there at all times and will go out of their way to accommodate anything you need! Alina is amazing and is there at anytime day or night for you to answer and questions or requests! The reception staff are so friendly and helpful! The night porter made lonely animals for my little girl so she adored him! The drinks waiters Mohammed, David, Hema, Yousuff, Seif are a fab addition to the hotel and we look forward to seeing them each year! The life guard Derek and Seif are lovely! They were around each day but also chatted you which was lovely and Derek made my little girl towel animals which she loved! The entertainment team are by far the best we’ve ever seen! We don’t usually watch any shows but I’m so glad we did this year! Each and every one of them has their own talent! Sophie does a fab job at managing them all so a big well done and we miss you all lots! All in all the staff make this hotel the hotel it is! They’ve all become friends and treat us just like family! We can’t wait to come back!

Top class hotel
From stepping off the coach to going home the staff in this hotel were first class. Very friendly, and they work their socks off. The waiter service at the pools was very good also the ones in the restaurants and bars. Food was very good always something for everyone. Last but not least the entertainment team. Shows were amazing at night and they work hard around the hotel during the day. There need to be posters around the hotel letting people know about the shows as they deserve a bigger audience as not everyone use the app. Big shout out to the life guards as well who also became our friends. Excellent stay
What an incredible experience! This beautiful 5-star hotel, newly renovated this year, exceeded all of our expectations. The modern design, spotless facilities, and luxurious atmosphere made our stay truly unforgettable.
A special thank you to Froso from Guest Relations, who was exceptionally professional, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. She made us feel valued from the moment we arrived.
We would also like to thank Natali from the restaurant for her outstanding service, kindness, and attention to detail. Every meal was a pleasure thanks to her warm hospitality.
