An Unforgettable Stay at The Elysium Hotel
Our recent stay at The Elysium Hotel on a half board basis was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until our departure, every detail was carefully executed to perfection.
The food throughout our stay was of outstanding quality. Breakfast offered a varied and delicious selection each morning, while the dinner options were consistently impressive, even for the little ones. Having staples like pizza, pasta, and ice cream readily available ensured both fussy kids and discerning adults left every meal happy.
What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the service. Every member of the team was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and readily available. A special mention goes to the luggage porters, particularly Fontas, though the entire team was wonderful, who greeted us warmly every time we returned. Housekeeping did a flawless job with both the daily cleaning and the evening turndown service, and the restaurant staff made a genuine effort to get to know our family.
The hotel itself is breathtaking and beautifully decorated. You are welcomed each day by a lovely signature scent, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. Cozy living room style nooks stocked with books invite you to unwind, making it impossible to feel bored.
The outdoor facilities and amenities are top tier. The swimming pools and outdoor playground were huge hits with the family, and we never had to worry about sunbeds, as staff were always on hand to assist with umbrellas. For relaxation and fitness, the steam room, sauna, and gym, which, though compact, is fully fitted with premium TechnoGym equipment, were fantastic additions to our stay.
Our room was elegantly designed with high quality furnishings and featured a spacious balcony. We also took full advantage of the pillow menu and greatly appreciated the extensive selection on offer to ensure a great night’s sleep.
We will definitely stay at The Elysium again whenever we return to Paphos. Thank you to the entire team for the warm Cypriot hospitality; we are so glad to have been part of the Elysium family for a short while. Every single aspect of our visit was wonderful.

Once again, we had an amazing stay at Elysium Hotel in Paphos. We have visited the hotel many times, and every time we come back, we are reminded why we keep choosing Elysium. It honestly feels like coming home. What makes Elysium so special for us is not only the beautiful hotel, the food or the facilities, but most importantly the people. The hospitality and genuine kindness of the staff make such a difference.
A very special thank you to Mrs Viktoria, Guest Relations Officer, and her whole team at reception. They are always so welcoming, helpful and ready to do anything they can to make our stay perfect. Nothing ever feels like a problem, and we always feel that we are truly looked after.
A big thank you as well to Mr Andreas and the whole service team, including Marina, George, Krisna and my very sweet Retchel ❤️. Every time we went for breakfast or food, they were there with a smile, taking care of us and making us feel special. These little things mean a lot and are exactly what makes us keep coming back.
This time, our August stay was also all about enjoying the amazing swimming pool. The atmosphere was perfect, and the cocktails and food by the pool made our days even better. A special thank you to Vivek, the barman, who was always looking after us and making sure we had everything we needed. He really made our pool time even more enjoyable.
And honestly, I could mention so many more people. Every employee at Elysium has something special. You can feel that they genuinely care about their guests, and that is something you don't find everywhere. We feel truly blessed every time we are here. ❤️

Exceptional Service Made All the Difference
Overall, we had a very good experience at the Elysium Hotel in Paphos. There were a few isolated issues during our stay, but what truly made the difference was the exceptional level of service we received from some of the staff.
A very special mention must go to Jerry at the reception, who was absolutely outstanding. He handled every issue with professionalism, patience, and genuine care. He listened carefully, took responsibility, and made sure that everything was resolved in the best possible way. His attitude, attentiveness, and willingness to help completely changed our experience for the better. Jerry is a true example of excellent hospitality and a real asset to the hotel.
We would also like to mention the gentleman who assisted us with our luggage, who was incredibly welcoming, warm, and friendly. His kindness and positive attitude stood out from the very beginning and made us feel genuinely welcome.
Despite a few minor issues, the way Jerry and the team handled everything left us with a very positive impression of the Elysium. Exceptional service can make all the difference — and in our case, it certainly did.
