Fantastic hotel matched with fantastic staff
Excellent five star hotel Staff are all fantastic and are exactly what you would expect to find in a luxury hotel. Nothing is a problem and they are all polite and friendly. The staff on the concierge’s desk are brilliant, they are the staff you meet first and give a very good first impression and set the bar for the rest of your stay.
Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The maid always left bottles of water when she was cleaning and these were replenished at the turn down service. We would recommend upgrading to a sea view room.
The hotel is in a quiet part of Paphos , however there are several bars and restaurants only a five minute walk away.
The spread at breakfast was quality and with a good choice. The evening meal buffet was very good and had plenty of choices A big thank you to Andreas who went above and beyond in the restaurant , on Mexican night my partner was struggling as she is not fond of spicey food. Andreas arranged for a lovely salmon dish to be prepared for her. We both felt this was a great gesture.
We used the bar on the terrace a few times and found the cocktails to be very good indeed they are quality.
Sunbeds are plentiful and it was always easy to find one. I must comment that I was very impressed with the pool staff , as soon as you were spotted they would come over and greet you and follow you to your sunbed and place your towels and arrange your umbrella for you. We mostly seemed to catch Milan’s eye when we arrived at the pool and he was an absolute gentleman, as were all the pool staff. Only gripe we had was that there didn’t’ seem to be a designated adults only pool as the kids were in all of them.
We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon to this excellent hotel

Excellent hotel
We enjoyed our stay at The Elysium very much. Great location, behind a boardwalk that leads to the harbour. Top quality hotel. Very good, friendly service. Nice pool area. Very good spa. Live music each night. Couple of small complaints....we had a room without a separate shower and the bath with shower above was so thin that it was actually difficult standing in it to shower. Not 5 star. The small beach outside the hotel was completely covered in seaweed that was being cleared with a mechanical dig. Not a great look. Overall very good though and I would return.

Exceptional
We had an amazing family holiday with our two young adult children. From the arrival to departure we had no complaints. It is definitely 5 star, old world charm with modern standards. Food is exceptional but the highlight is the staff, they are highly professional but also warm. They clearly are trained to a very high standard. They contributed significantly to the holiday. We intend to return again September/October
