Cabana -Green ants
Absolutely fantastic -can’t say a bad word about Constantinou experience everything is as it should be except one thing- green ants and Cabanas- learnt from experience last year- free cabana came with the room after two days of getting bit ended up giving cabana to two old folk- they didn’t stay long- this year free cabana once this time went to see where it was and yes trees behind and my mates the ants- at present all cabanas are empty the only ones that I’ve seen used are 7/8/9 why completely out in the open- moral of the story green ants love trees bushes and humans if your in their territory Constantinou you need to review this as those cabanas are wasted at the moment
Disappointing hotel
Staying here at the mo nice hotel with lovely grounds, bedrooms are what you expect, food could do with being served hotter as is should be served at a minimum of 76 degrees which I find most days it’s not, pity as it could be much better, 2 young entrainment staff who do there best with what they have supplied, great pair & as to the evening entertainment it could do with a big shake up by bring in better acts, only been here 6 nights & had 3 lots of dancers, I think the hotel could spend more money & bring in much better evening entertainment ( personal opinion ) tonight Monday 1 singer on from 8pm & no outside show to speak other than bingo in one of the side rooms, for me not a place I will be returning too

Fantastic holiday
Our third visit to this fabulous hotel this year, we visited at New Year, Easter and Summer. I can honestly say the hotel has provided us with some of our best memories in Cyprus. (Approximately 50 visits to Cyprus so far). We have also booked to go back next Summer. Luna and Manisha kept us in drinks in the fabulous bar area and Mohan and Tamta looked after us in the restaurant. The food was exceptional, a wide choice of food at every sitting both savoury and sweet. The à la carte was fantastic, the fillet mignon is to die for, absolutely delicious. The hotel is very relaxed, plenty of space and no need to get a sunbed too early. Our room looked over the pool and the sea so we had fantastic views. A truly fabulous three holidays and already looking forward to next August.
A great week at the Athena Royal Beach Hotel
My wife and I had a fantastic week at the Athena Royal. The staff were consistently courteous, friendly and approachable, and the room was functional, spotless, and checked at least once daily.
The food was varied and high quality throughout our stay. Both A La Carte restaurants were excellent, and the buffet dining was just as impressive. Thursday’s BBQ was exceptional — the sheer variety of dishes was remarkable, especially considering the team only began preparing the outdoor area late afternoon.
Sunbeds were plentiful and well spaced across the grounds, making it easy to relax wherever we chose.
The positive reviews that led us to book were absolutely accurate. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you to the hotel and its team for a truly lovely experience.

Lovely hotel, food and Lumi at the hair salon is amazing!!
Had a lovely week here staying for my sister in laws wedding, the food is amazing and so much choice. Drinks are lovely too, the staff are exceptional and always have a smile on their face. I had my hair done at the spa for the wedding and Lumi was absolutely brilliant, I loved my hair and it lasted all day. There are lots of older guests staying at this hotel, so much of the entertainment, music and timings for food etc (buffet closed at 10.30 and bar last orders are at 12.30) are catered to this audience but it was great for what we wanted. Rooftop bar is lovely for sunset. We snorkelled off the jetty and saw a turtle on 3 occasions so this made the trip!!
