Aquamare beach & Spa hotel is well worth a visit. The rooms are exceptionally clean with fresh towels every day and beds re made, despite being told we’d have an in land view we ended up with a sea view. Restaurant prices are comparable with outside restaurants but a bit pricey for lunch. Staff very helpful and friendly. We did get sunbeds easily but our stay was in October, I can imagine that high season would be a lot trickier! Lifeguard on duty everyday at the pool and a lovely little splash area with toadstool showers and a pirate ship slide for the small people! I would warn though if using a hire car as we did, the car park is very small despite being 3 floors (2 underground) one day we couldn’t get a spot and had to park on wasteland a short walk away. The underground sections are really tight and the slope up to ground level left our 1ltr engine struggling to get us out! There is one lift that accesses the car park from the hotel which is handy when removing cases. Overall a lovely experience and I wouldn’t hesitate booking this hotel again. Thanks for a delightful stay!
This is my second time to this hotel and I cannot honestly say anything negative about the hotel. It's spotlessly clean, it's in a beautiful setting and the staff are wonderful. The spa is a different story completely. The 2 men that work in there aggressively try to up sell the treatments. I tried 3 times to book body massages for myself and my daughter. The cost should be 65 euros each but he was trying to get me to upgrade and have multiple massages at a cost of 185 euros. He takes hold of your arm and massages it, telling you the 65 euros massage is just a rub and not a massage!!!!! I even tried phoning from the room and after asking 3 times for prices he would not tell me and i ended up hanging up on him. I reported this treatment to the hotel but they just say it's a separate business. They don't like to show you the price list either. The young girl cannot say anything and as soon as you ask her to book anything she get's the aggressive man to come out to up sell. We ended up not booking anything with them and went to a lovely little salon at the nearby harbour and had an amazing massage for 45 euros. The salon was called touch of beauty and the prices are much much cheaper and better.
Nice hotel conveniently located for the airport. Nice friendly staff, comfortable rooms (nice to find comfortable beds in a holiday hotel). Food was really good both for breakfast and dinner (we were half board which was plenty for us). Huge selection for breakfast and dinner where you had a good choice comprising of beef, lamb, pork, chicken and fish options every day. Huge selection of deserts daily as well.
Pub style bar next to the restaurant (off the lobby) and another bar next to the beach serving snacks and meals as well as drinks. All reasonably priced if you are not all inclusive.
Pool area and gardens all lovely and well maintained and the pool was warm in September.
Sea view rooms have an amazing view of sunsets late afternoon but are pretty hot during the afternoons.
We enjoyed it so much we have already booked to go back next year, so a big thank you to the staff and we will see you again next year!
We spent 10 days at Aquamare in October 2026. This hotel isn't safe for young children , my son is almost 3 and whilst playing in the kids room, i found 2 batteries in a toy box. I immediately took them out and ensured that there were no more, i found another 1. I told the reception team about the incident. All parents will be well aware of the danger of batteries and how worrying this incident was. There was no follow up from the MGT team. This isn't a family hotel. The guest are mostly over 70+
This hotel is very dated, food was average and rooms again very dated, we came home with bad backs after 10 days on the hotel bed. With a double and camp bed for our son, you couldn't swing a cat.
We were surprised to be only given one small bottle of water in room in 10 days.
The Greek Yoghurt at breakfast was very poor and the fruit selection also very poor.
The poor bar area and staff great, lovely spot for sunset and snacks/salad good. Wine was terrible and cocktails good!
This hotel is extremely clean and staff generally very nice.
Kids room need heavy investment and whole hotel needs updating
This is at best a 3 star hotel . If you don't have kids stay next door at the IVYMARE- that is stunning!
The hotel is beautiful clean and so friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious. Marina welcomes you like no other- making you feel like family. The bar staff dimitris, Nick, Andras & Anna always offer a fast friendly service with a smile. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. So much to do or little - you choose
