Amazing from beginning to end
From beginning to end tho hotel haas exceeded expectations on all levels
Having travelled extensively mainly in 5 star hotels across the world I can genuinely say I have been blown away by the level of service and attention to detail at this hotel
The hotel is beautifully presented throughout and immaculately clean. The pool is devine and the sunbeds allocated on arrival is a complete game changer for me.
Scan the code on the subbed and a waiter is there within minutes to take your order. All staff from cleaners to waiters and reception are top of their game when it comes to customer service.
Never usually go back to a hotel but will definitely be returning.

Fantastic hotel set on the sea front just 20 minutes walk from Paphos.
Right from entering the hotel it was clear that this was a well run and beautiful hotel. The lobby / Reception area is very impressive with lovely stylish decor and a lovely scent in the air.
The room we had (223) was well apportioned with a spacious balcony facing over the pool and gardens looking towards the bay. I think all the rooms face the bay. The air-con in the bedroom was super-quiet which I was pleased about. The bed was very large and the room was well appointed. By the way… we did laugh but the bathroom has a clear window to the bedroom and we thought that we would have open views of each other on the loo. It took us 10 minutes to find a button next to the toilet which operates the concealed privacy blind 😅
The gardens to the rear of the hotel are lovely with plenty of palms to offer shade and two pools (the smaller pool has water fountains in it) the main pool is fantastic with a swim-up bar. The main pool was a wonderful water temperature almost like a warm bath ….lovely! The hotel is just 20 mins walk from Paphos along a safe and level promenade.
Sun loungers at the hotel are offered using a central booking system so there is no need to get up early or argue with other guests!! Once you have an allocated sun lounger it’s yours for your stay unless you agree to transfer to a vacant sun-lounger (they must be vacant to change).
I used the laundry service which was very efficient and the wifi was excellent helping me to make a work-related Teams call back to the UK.
The food choice and cocktails is excellent. The buffet was fantastic with lovely food. I’m a food snob but this buffet was wonderful, with plenty of choice of fresh salads and fish and meat dishes.
Evening entertainment in the cocktail bar was great. The live singer on a Friday evening is superb. She can really hold a note. She is a seriously talented singer.
I have two slight gripes:

was ordering breakfast eggs! They have an odd (and I think completely inefficient system) where you order eggs and they come on their own plate then you have to go and get say bacon, and the cooked eggs are getting cold. If you get the bacon first you need to time that to when the eggs are coming. Either way your small table is filled with plates. I don’t understand why guests can’t just ask the chef direct for the eggs and use one plate?!!

The complimentary Rose wine by the glass is simply not good enough for this high-class hotel. There should be a pale dry rose wine by the glass (‘Les Valentines’ should be made available as a complimentary choice) rather than the cherry-coloured rose which isn’t great quality.
The hotel has several restaurants - we went to the roof-top Asian restaurant twice and were treated to wonderful views of the bay and sunsets.
The staff are so hard-working and friendly. A shout out to “Adrian” in the buffet who makes guests laugh with his great ‘dad jokes’. Also the bar / waiting staff and especially lovely ‘Valentine’ and ‘Korine’.
There are some cats which wander in the hotel gardens they are lovely and friendly and it’s their home too whereas we are just visitors, so please be respectful and kind to them.
All in all this a wonderful hotel. We will definitely return. This is a five stars out of five stars hotel.
The most perfect and incredible 10 night stay at the beautiful Amavi!
We stayed at the beautiful Amavi Hotel in Paphos from 8th to 18th June this year, and from the moment we were greeted at the entrance by Angel to the moment he waved us goodbye, every detail of our holiday was exceptional. It’s rare to find a place where everything feels so thoughtfully considered, but Amavi truly achieves this.
The reception area immediately sets the tone , it's wonderfully relaxing, spacious, and elegant. Every member of staff is friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, and that alone speaks volumes. Their warmth creates an atmosphere that makes you feel cared for from the very first moment.
The food was another highlight of our stay. The Ezaria buffet restaurant offered beautifully presented dishes that were genuinely delicious, while the à la carte restaurants , Nocturne and Immenso were outstanding. We dined à la carte three times during our 10‑night stay and were blown away each time by the quality of the food and the impeccable service. Immenso, the rooftop restaurant, was especially magical, offering a stunning sunset backdrop that made each meal feel special.
The outdoor area is equally impressive. The sunbeds are the most comfortable and largest we’ve ever experienced, and the pools are gorgeous. Our favourite was the one we affectionately named “the jungle pool” , enclosed by palm trees for privacy, with amazing jets that made it feel like a hidden oasis.
The setting of the hotel made our daily routine even more enjoyable. We loved our morning walks along the seafront and our afternoon strolls to the harbour, browsing the shops and chatting with locals. The atmosphere everywhere was warm and friendly, and we never felt hassled. We also visited the old town market, which was a delight, and the Tomb of the Kings, which was truly incredible.
This was, without question, the most incredible hotel we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked to return in September this year. The staff are exceptional, friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive (shout out for Vanka, Nina and Caterina). You can see how they remember returning guests, and that alone says everything about the heart of this hotel.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone at the Amavi, from reception to dining, housekeeping to poolside staff, for making our stay unforgettable. Your kindness, your smiles, and your attention to detail made our holiday truly special. We are already counting down the days until we see you all again in September when we return to celebrate my 61st birthday.

Fantastic hotel
Best hotel we have stayed in. This was our second time here, so relaxing, staff friendly and helpful. The allocation of your own Sunbed makes the holiday even more relaxing. Special mention to Mariana who looks after the cats around the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel - we will be back!
