Alexander The Great Beach

We were a family group (3 rooms) celebrating an anniversary and we loved the hotel. Location was great, rooms were clean and spacious and staff were great. Dining (half board) was exceptional and the facilities - pool, spa, gym etc were also excellent. Activities were well organised and great fun.

Still here at the ATG hotel for a few more days but we felt that we wanted to write our review now so that the wonderful team know how much we’ve appreciated them and their dedication to ensuring our stay is as relaxing and enjoyable as it could possibly be. From our arrival and being met by the wonderful porters into the most stunning reception lounge area. The decor is grand. We were seated and given fresh sandwich and refreshments we knew our stay was going to be a memorable one. The simplest of check-ins was followed by the discovery that all of my pre requests had been noted and met and we were shown to our beautiful room overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The comfiest beds we have ever had the pleasure of in any holiday hotel with a fabulous pillow selection. A wide selection of the best toiletries, fluffy towels which were changed multiple times each day .. an immaculately clean room with the best house keeping services we have experienced in a four star plus hotel.
For this we have to give enormous thanks to the absolutely wonderful Binod who looked after our every need. Every morning we opened our door he was there going about his work with the most beautiful smile and a greeting to ask how we were, did we need anything and what we had planned for the day. I know I can be extremely fussy, but nothing was too much trouble for Binod he quite simply is the most gentle lovely caring person and a credit to ATG hotel. We cannot praise him or thank him enough. Another absolute star was Sarjit from the breakfast room. What a delight each morning seeing his smiling welcoming face. Always asking if we needed anything and how we were. He took a general interest in my injury, ( I am recovering from a broken leg) His attention to his work was notable. We’ve had room service delivered four times during our stay and Sarjit has brought the food. It felt like such a personalised service, it was always lovely to see him. Returning to the room facilities and what a bonus to have our local terrestrial T.V. Chanel’s and a special treat to have the football channel. The subbed allocation system is gem ! Yours for the whole of your stay but basically you can pick and change at any point. No mad rush in the mornings just relax at breakfast time and pick your clean towels each day. The indoor heated pool is lovely. My only negative is the charge to use the mini fridge for your own use, this was a let down for a hotel who clearly values its guests by the excellently high standards it achieves in every area with its customer care. This is a stunningly beautiful hotel a special hotel with some very special people ensuring your stay is as wonderful as it could possibly be and I’m sure we will be returning in the future.

Tip - make sure you visit the Secret Garden - Atrium restaurant across the road .. another piece of paradise with a wonderful owner of 35 years.
