St George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort is a stylish retreat on the outskirts of Paphos, around 6 km from the city centre and close to the harbour and historic attractions. Set directly on a sandy and pebble beach, the hotel offers a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, ideal for couples seeking a peaceful, adults-focused escape. With a bus stop just 200 metres away and the airport within easy reach, it’s well placed for both relaxation and exploring the island.
Facilities are centred around relaxation, dining and light activity. Guests can unwind by two outdoor swimming pools, both featuring whirlpools, or enjoy the indoor pool which is heated during the winter months. The wellness and spa centre offers a range of treatments, alongside a sauna, steam bath and hydromassage pool, while a fitness centre is available for those looking to stay active. A daytime activity programme includes options such as yoga, tennis, aqua aerobics and more, while evenings bring live music and entertainment several times a week.
Dining is a standout feature, with a “dine around” concept offering a choice of six restaurants, a café-patisserie and seven bars. From buffet-style dining with live cooking stations to à la carte options including Asian, Italian, American and traditional Greek cuisine, there’s plenty of variety throughout your stay. While a selection of bars, including poolside and beachfront options, provide a relaxed setting for evening drinks and socialising.

Best hotel ever
As everyone else has said, the best hotel we have ever been to. Brilliant food, restaurants, staff, room was perfect, excellent sunbed allocation arrangement. Only point to make @st.georgebeachhotel&spa is that because of your location you lack a strong entertainment programme which lets it down a bit. Elvis tribute was brilliant but most nights we were disappointed and found ourselves sat outside away from it. For a fabulous hotel I believe you need to reconsider this, particularly having spent so much money on the new stage setting. Other than that we will most definitely be returning soon - 9.5/10 👏😊
A great holiday with a few little things which could be improved
The sunbed allocation system was great. We had C24 in a perfect spot and the beach was lovely. The hotel is large with plenty of places to sit and relax. The bar, pool and restaurant staff were brilliant, the cocktails were amazing with loads of choice and the wine bar was very popular. We also enjoyed the Tiki Bar and Boulevard Café. It was great to have decaf coffee as an option which is quite rare at most hotels we’ve stayed in, as well as flavoured syrups.
The food from the shop near the beach and pool was fantastic, with the Greek salad being a particular highlight. We tried Route 66 and the Greek à la carte restaurant too. The cats wandering around the Greek restaurant and begging for food were a little off-putting, but this was down to other guests feeding them. The main buffet dinner was hit and miss, with limited choice on some evenings. We can understand why the à la carte restaurants get booked up so quickly! Lots of options for breakfast. We didn’t eat lunch at the main buffet so can’t comment.
The spa was a fantastic addition. The prices were reasonable and my aromatherapy treatment was amazing. I felt so good afterwards! The facilities looked decent, although we didn’t get around to using them. The ladies were lovely in spa too. Highly recommend booking a treatment!
The entertainment was mixed. The Elvis Presley show was popular and had a great atmosphere, while the live duos at the Tiki Bar were enjoyable but a little repetitive. The DJ night was our favourite and it was a shame it couldn’t go on for longer. Aqua gym didn’t seem to run every day and the entertainment team could have done more to encourage guests to join in. Unsure if they were thin on the team due it being end of season but the girls done what they could for the shows in the evenings.
Reception was disappointing. We didn’t receive a welcome drink like some other guests and at checkout we were left waiting until I asked to check out. Our luggage also wasn’t tagged in the same way as other guests luggage. We travelled on a British Airways package and felt a little overlooked when sorting out our luggage on the last day. The hotel seems heavily reliant on TUI and Jet2, but all guests should feel equally welcomed.
Some guests also sat on other people’s allocated sunbeds which we found ridiculous as you can ask to change your sunbeds. Staff did address this when it happened.
Despite a few niggles with the buffet, entertainment and reception service, we had a really enjoyable holiday. The cocktails, brilliant bar staff, sunbed allocation and beach/pool snack bar were definite highlights. We’d happily consider returning, as a few little improvements could make this an even better hotel!

Zero Loyalty
After six or seven stays at the St George, sadly, we have decided this will be our last. We have increasingly chosen to book directly with the hotel because we believe in supporting businesses directly and would rather our money went to the hotel and its team than to an intermediary. Unfortunately, despite being returning guests, we have never really felt that our loyalty has been recognised. We asked to extend our room for a while and it was rejected unless we gave them more Money. There are elements of the experience that we also believe have declined since our previous visits, but rather than produce a list of complaints about a hotel we have genuinely enjoyed over the years, I think it is more important to explain the reason we won't return.
For us, loyalty works both ways. After many visits and choosing to support the hotel directly, we simply don't feel that loyalty is valued.
We leave with some very fond memories and genuinely wish the St George and its team well, but it's now time for us to holiday elsewhere.

Highly recommend a stay at St George
Wonderful hotel with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. There is multiple restaurants and bars which all have fast service and top quality food/drinks in offer. The main buffet restaurant had a fair variety and the staff constantly kept on top of our needs. The housekeeping staff kept the rooms very clean and were helpful. The entertainment programme was a highlight for us as there is daily activities that vary from boules to archery to darts. The entertainment team were great fun and led the activities well, allowing us to make friends and have an overall really good time! Highly recommend a stay at St George.
My wife wants her birthday at St. George's every year now!
We have just returned from our first visit to this wonderful hotel. After arriving in torrential rain which gladly improved we were warmly greeted with a nice drop of fizz and booked in very efficiently. One of the stand outs for my wife and I were the allocated sun loungers, we have a fantastic spot at the front of the beach but changed after 4 days to a poolside spot just to get a feel of a different part of the hotel. During our weeks stay we dined at all the 4 speciality restaurants and found them all to be excellent with superb service in all of them. We also found the buffet restaurants to be of an excellent standard with plenty of choice. We stopped off at most of the bars and enjoyed the Tiki bar but a special shout out to the 2 ladies in the wine bar that amazingly always remembered my order! Entertainment wise we normally went into the Tiki bar but did enjoy the Elvis tribute night. If you are up to it I would highly recommend the coastal beach walk from the hotel into Paphos harbour which takes about an hour and a half both ways but well worth it. I did see a tip about taking extra coat hangers but I phoned down to reception to ask for some more and literally within 5 minutes had a delivery of some. I also reported to reception on our way to dinner that our patio door was getting hard to lock, on returning later this had been fixed. Finally can I thank the hotel and all their staff for the excellent service we received throughout our stay especially what you did for us with regards helping my wife celebrate her 60th birthday, it was very much appreciated!
