Just the one point off for the dire entertainment , def should be better in such a lovely hotel, mostly singers (elvis 🫣) I was expecting a show etc ,also no where to get a drink on reception floor when checking out or waiting for your transfers ??? Strange , maybe a vending machine would be handy , but the rest of the hotel is perfect , staff are so happy and helpful. The rooms are amazing , comfy beds , toiletries supplied ! The air on was perfect , Water freely available around the hotel , water in the fridge on arrival as is coffee sachets / sugar etc, lovely walks along the back of the hotel in either direction , There was nothing that would put us off returning and I have rebooked for next year,
Staff - From the moment we arrived right up until check out all the staff in the hotel couldn't do enough for us absolutely brilliant service. Special mention to Christina on reception who went above and beyond to help us when my suitcase didnt arrive until 3 days after us. Also a mention to the security guard didn't catch his name but works by the beach he was always very friendly and helpful a very lovely man.
Pool - The Outdoor pools were definitely to warm for our liking but this didn't stop us using them especially in the morning however we found during sunbathing popping into the indoor pool was much more refreshing due to it being baltic. The bar in the main pool was always very crowded so we used the top pool alot more. Seen alot of people on the Facebook group asking if you can use lilos and yes you can.
Sunbed Allocation - We were given two loungers on the grass area in-between the pool and the sea for the 1st two days then after asking to move every morning they found us a spot in-between the main pool and the top pool. Just a tip even though your allocated your lounger I'd still put your towel down before breakfast as some people ignore the allocation system or even move sunbeds without thinking it belongs to someone else. If this does happen to you the allocation staff will sort it out straight away.
Food - Breakfast - We found there was plenty of choice and I'd recommend the hash browns. Omelette station where they'll cook whatever Omelette you want.
Daytime Snacks - Most daytime bars serve a selection of sandwiches, wraps and cakes and the main snack bar serve pizza, hotdogs, burger, kebab, chips and salads this is where we would go everyday.
Main Daytime Buffet - Not for us we didn't really like anything on offer.
Main Evening Buffet - Again didn't really enjoy anything in there, not much to choose from and when we did find something we thought we'd like we found it just very salty. Although the desert section was very tasty.
Al A Carte - We Went to the Asian and the Route 66 and we found the food to be beautiful would definitely recommend, however the 2nd visit to route 66 i had the steak with mash potato and the mash was incredibly salty.
Room - We had a Double Room with a sea view. Everything you expect tbh decent enough for the amount of time you use it. For anyone who does plan on signing into Netflix and whacking something on either whilst you get ready or just fancy putting something on when you get back to the room make sure your subscription is the ad free one otherwise it won't let you watch anything.
Entertainment - Didn't venture down to the Entertainment downstairs but heard it most night. Elvis sounded pretty decent. Went into the tiki bar on 3 occasions and the singers in there were very good. A woman playing some sort of instrument in the cocktail bar was decent aswell. Young lad comes out to the pool about 11 to do pool aerobics didn't get involved not my thing but some people seemed to enjoy it.
Beach Area - Definitely bring some sea shoes if you plan on going for a dip, its quite rocky getting in and out. Temperature alot better than the pools aswell.
All in all would definitely return. Met some lovely people during our stay and it seems quite common that guests return so that says it all really.
Had an amazing holiday, location was good for us, a few restaurants nearby, if you’re looking for a busy strip of bars and places to eat, this isn’t for you! Our hotel room was perfect, bed was huge! Tv worked, Netflix, Bluetooth on it. Kettle and coffee pod machine, fridge also. We arrived late so there was sandwiches and water in the fridge. The bottles are then refilled at the various stations. A hairdryer in the drawer too, always bring my own anyway. Room Cleaned everyday, fresh towels etc, excellent! Plenty bars to drink and eat from here, you won’t go hungry!! Cocktails are made to order, very nice. Boulevard cafe, made a great coffee, hot or cold. Lots of cakes, snacks all day long. Buffet restaurant was good, enough choice, only complaint was, poached eggs should be made to order, not sat in water on the hot plate, boiled, definitely not! Italian restaurant was superb! Route 66 wasn’t the best , in my opinion. The Asian restaurant was very nice indeed! There is a Greek restaurant, we never tried Sunbed allocation works well, we only waited 2 days for a pool side one, but I must say the beach ones are great, dipped in the sea a few times, took swim shoes with us , as there’s rocks/stones etc on your way in there. We used the gym most days, usually in the morning so it wasn’t too busy, it’s a small gym, but enough equipment to do a workout. 2 treadmills, cross trainer, rope machine, leg machines, dumbells/kettlebells and a frame etc. Sauna, stream room, jacuzzi and indoor pool were fab!! Never watched the entertainment so can’t comment. Tiki bar was lively, great atmosphere, good variety of music! All in all, we enjoyed our stay 10/10!
We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!
A special mention has to go to the entertainment team, especially Wojtek, who was absolutely fantastic. He always made an effort to get everyone involved, kept guests entertained throughout the day and evening, and was genuinely one of the nicest people we met during our stay. His enthusiasm, friendliness, and energy really added to our holiday and made the atmosphere so enjoyable.
The food was exceptional with a great variety of options. We loved being able to try the different à la carte restaurants, including the Asian, Greek, Italian, and American restaurants. Each one offered something different, and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. There was plenty of choice throughout the resort, so we never got bored of the meals.
The drinks were also brilliant. Unlike many all-inclusive hotels where drinks can taste watered down, the cocktails and spirits here were genuinely good quality and full of flavour. The bar staff were friendly, and there was a great selection available throughout the day and evening.
When we first arrived, our room wasn’t quite what we had hoped for as it was overlooking a wall, meaning we had no view at all. We spoke to reception, and they were incredibly helpful and understanding. They arranged for us to move rooms the very next day, and our new room was in a much better location. We really appreciated how quickly they resolved the issue and their excellent customer service.
Overall, we had a fantastic holiday. The combination of excellent food and drinks, brilliant entertainment, friendly staff, and the way the team went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay made this a memorable experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun all-inclusive holiday.
Just got back from 9 days St. George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort in Pathos.
It has 4 specialty restaurants which were great for gluten free.
A gluten free breakfast station with bread, cereals and croissants
At the buffet lunch everything was labelled but the head chef kindly walked me round to confirm what was safe to eat
Buffet restaurant was a little strange with no labels but again chef or head waiter was more than happy to talk me through everything.
The service was amazing and the sun bed allocation was amazing!
The different bars were fabulous and the cocktails were amazing! The bar staff at the cocktail bar and the small pool were particularly great. The reception staff were fabulous as was the cleaners
Honestly I would come back every year if I could.
