Azia Resort & Spa is a well-regarded five-star resort in Cyprus, recognised with multiple awards including TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice 2020 and 2021 and the World Luxury Hotel Award in 2020. It enjoys a peaceful seafront location with sunset views across the Mediterranean, just 180m from a natural golden sandy beach and a short drive from the centre of Paphos.
Set within landscaped gardens, the resort places strong emphasis on sustainability, using natural and recycled materials throughout. Its own 530,000m² plantation supplies fresh produce directly to the on-site restaurants.

Food and drink are a key highlight, with six restaurants and seven bars offering Mediterranean cuisine alongside international favourites. Guests can enjoy buffet and à la carte dining, including outdoor venues for al fresco meals. During selected summer weekends, special gastronomic events are hosted by Michelin-star chefs, using seasonal ingredients, many sourced from the resort’s plantation. A variety of bars and lounges are available, including poolside and adults-only options, along with snack and refreshment points throughout the day.
The facilities at Azia Resort & Spa are extensive, offering something for both families and adults seeking a peaceful escape. Adults-only areas include a dedicated swimming pool with massage jets and water loungers, private garden and sunbathing spaces, adult-focused activities, and an adults-only restaurant (dinner), bar and designated dining time zones. Leisure facilities include an outdoor pool with sun terraces, an indoor pool with waterfall, gym, yoga room, tennis court and table tennis. A golf driving range and mini-golf are located opposite the hotel (additional charge). For families, there are free daily activities (seasonal), Kids’ and Teen clubs, a playground and a children’s spa (payable locally).
Accommodation is modern and comfortable, with all rooms featuring air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, balcony, satellite TV, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, in-room safe and a contemporary en-suite bathroom with amenities and hairdryer. A variety of room types are available, including premium rooms, suites and adult-only options. Guests in Premium and adults-only rooms have access to the Premium Lounge, offering a second breakfast option, afternoon tea and pre-dinner aperitifs, along with upgraded bathroom amenities, an in-room espresso machine and a complimentary minibar replenished daily. Amazing hotel and 5* staff
We just arrived back after our second visit to this great hotel. We stayed for longer on this break as the last time we didn't venture out into paphos and we still didn’t almost the entire time this trip either. The hotel is very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful and the staff are the ones that really make the hotel what it is. Titu without doubt is the pool bar! He goes above and beyond for the guests, even when the heat has been extreme, he is running round making sure everyone has drinks, water, and is happy. Also a special mention to Irina and Sophia in the restaurant, Bhim in cava bar and the guys in reception, thank you, you are super stars! There are some really great staff at the hotel, who really go the extra mile. I hope there is an employee recognition scheme, if there is, it’s not visible for guests to see but I really hope these team members who are delivering excellent service are recognised for what they do! I can’t wait to visit this fantastic hotel again. The views are beautiful and watching the sunset on the hotel beach area is a must during your stay

Relaxing week - perfect
Fantastic Week Away – Couldn’t Fault It! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful week-long stay, and we had an amazing time from start to finish. The hotel was beautiful, with immaculate grounds that were clearly very well maintained. Our room was spacious, well equipped, and cleaned to an exceptionally high standard every day. The pool area was excellent, with plenty of sunbeds available throughout the day, so there was never any need to get up early to reserve one. The food was outstanding, especially the à la carte restaurants. We visited the Italian, Maze, and Asia restaurants, and every meal was a perfect 10/10. The quality of the food, presentation, and service were exceptional. What really made our holiday so special was the staff. Every single member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure guests had a fantastic stay. We’d like to give a special mention to Titu and Lama at the pool bar, who were always cheerful and provided excellent service, Fioreta and Laxman in the Cava Bar for their warm hospitality, and the Head Maître d’ of the à la carte restaurants, whose professionalism and attention to detail made every dining experience memorable. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality holiday.

Wonderful last minute holiday.
The whole hotel was excellent. Very clean, friendly staff. The pool area was super clean and the kids club was amazingly friendly and welcoming. Jacky was incredibly kind to our children and gave some very useful tips/hints. She also provides babysitting. The kids loved her! We were lucky enough to be here the same time as Jonas Lagerström (Michelin star) for an amazing dinner. The evening entertainment was also very high quality

Yet another fabulous stay
Many have been apprehensive about visiting Cyprus this year which is such a shame. It’s absolutely fine - no problems whatsoever. It’s been as welcoming and relaxing as ever!
We've recently returned from yet another wonderful stay at the amazing Azia. That’s 24 consecutive years which gives you an indication of how much we love it. We can share a few reasons why it’s so special to us and why we recommend it.
The Azia is set within extensive grounds outside Paphos town. The immediate area outside the hotel offers a few bars, restaurants and a shop but it's pretty quiet. However the bus stop is close at hand which takes you into Paphos town within a few minutes for a few euros.
The hotel has a huge swimming pool with swim-up bar and is surrounded by comfortable sunbeds. Additionally there’s an Adults Only smaller pool with its own sunbeds and bar. An attractive indoor pool is also available. We like to spend our days on the grass in the beautifully tended gardens where it’s extremely peaceful and we can gaze out over the vast sea view.
The food at the Azia is varied and abundant. A huge variety of national and international fare at breakfast. Lunch and dinner comprise a buffet with so many choices of hot and cold dishes. Each evening the offering is predominantly themed, be it from Cypriot to Barbecue to Asian. But there are always other options if you prefer and the chefs are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. Additionally there are à la carte restaurants which are open on various days of the week, depending on the occupancy of the hotel. These are in different locations each set under the stars amongst the trees. We thoroughly recommended these for their distinctive food and service.
The dedicated stage area presents evening entertainment with diverse shows each night. The bar area also has some relaxed live music most evenings.
Most of the bedrooms at the Azia have an amazing view over the gardens and on to the sea beyond. The sunsets are truly spectacular. All rooms are beautifully appointed with plenty of space and, like the whole hotel, spotlessly clean. You’ll see cleaners bustling about making sure all is in order and even trying to keep up with the ongoing chore of collecting fallen leaves!
The staff make the hotel. Several have been there for many years and we are always delighted to catch up with these friends. Whether established or new, they all have the same ethos of doing their very best to ensure that guests have an amazing holiday. And they succeed - always with a smile! There are so many people we’d love to applaud, including those behind the scenes, but there are simply too many to name. We do however sincerely thank you all for everything you do - for your professionalism and for your friendship. We can’t wait to see you again for our 25th year!
