A good 3 star hotel. The hotel is very clean and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Rooms are ok with a good firm mattress. Bathroom a little on the small side but super clean. We stayed all inc but did eat out several times as we wanted meze and kleftiko etc. We couldn't fault the food at hotel. Amazing array of hot and cold at breakfast. Freshly made omelette if you asked. A toaster that actually worked and a decent cup of coffee. The salad bar was very good with all the dips. Including Tzatziki and taramasalata. The beer on offer was ok. But we found the wine to be a little rough. Hence the reason we went out some evenings. We hired a car for a reasonable cost. Went across into Nicosia and also booked a trip with mr john and went to famagousta and the ghost town. Very interesting and well worth doing.. Thanks toxotis we had a nice week. The one thing we did notice was the fact that the tiles around the pool were very slippy. Pretty dangerous tbh.
We visited with our children and had another fantastic experience. This is our second year returning, and the service is just as amazing as we remembered.
A huge thank you to Dinos and Alec, who looked after us so well throughout our stay. They are excellent waiters, friendly, attentive, hardworking, and always made us feel so welcome.
A special mention also goes to Tssos and Sami in the restaurant, who were both outstanding. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made every meal a pleasure, and they always went out of their way to make us feel like valued guests.
We’d also like to thank Marcus, the head of the restaurant, for running such a fantastic team and always making time to chat and ensure everything was perfect.
Finally, a big thank you to Alex, the lifeguard, who was always friendly, approachable, and great with everyone around the pool. His positive attitude added to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
The staff are a huge reason we keep coming back year after year. Thank you all for making our family holiday so special. We can’t wait to return again next year! Thanks again Maria and Alan
This was our 3rd year of booking this hotel. Me and my husband decided to go on our own this year and again will book next year as well. This hotel is always clean, atmosphere is friendly. We have made a few friends now that work at this hotel. Dino works in the pool bar area and always welcomes you with a smile and lovely conversation. We met Taskkos' and what a wonderful man he is waiting on us and being so attentive to our needs. Alex and Martin the lifeguards were fantastic again always had time to have a quick chat with us. It was our first time meeting Babis (Mpampis) and we were so impressed with his professional service. We were always welcomed and shown to our favourite table. Babis became a very good friend and another reason as to why we are looking forward to a return visit. What can I say but wow what a huge improvement in the dining room it is so much bigger giving you so much more wonderful food to choose from. Marios' makes the most incredible desserts such a beautiful variety each presented so eloquently.
There are plenty of sun beds for everyone depending on what you prefer. Another new area is a lovely undercover seating area next to a mini bar just off the main dining area. Lovely cocktails and a wide selection of drinks available.
If you are looking for a hotel which gives you amazing hospitality treating you like royalty you would struggle to match anywhere else !!! Thank you so much to all the staff who work so tirelessly hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I will be highly recommending this hotel to friends and colleagues. Until we see you next year Allan & Sarah xx
This is the 3rd time in Toxotis hotel, this place is a gem! Since last year there has been significant improvements, there is now a pool bar, restaurant has been made bigger with more choice of food, and there is an outdoor eating area! The staff are so friendly and work really hard, especially restaurant staff Sami and Rossi. Liza on reception and the hotel manager Youla. The staff all go above and beyond. My only gripe was there are no mirrors in the room, only in the bathroom, which is hard when you want to dry your hair! I mentioned this to Youla, who said they are on order! She said leave it with me, and at 17,30 there was one left in reception for me.
There is a bus stop right outside your hotel, €2 to protaros, and the other way for you can go to Paralimni!l again for €2 You are only a few minutes walk away from the “strip” which has lovely eating places! We tried the Greek restaurant called Kartanas Meze Tavern, the food was to die for, they did deal deals, so for a family of 3, starter, main and a sweet plus drinks it was €55, plus they had made homemade baclava, that they brought out at no extra charge! If you like cocktails you must give Mother and daughter a try, BOGOF on a huge selection’s of cocktails! €12 for 4 cocktails. Although we didn’t eat there the food looked delicious, if you wanted English food!
I found this hotel very pleasant. It’s been very quiet while we have been here which has been lovely. Food at breakfast, lunch and dinner is good, I’ve not had one bad meal. I think they could do with giving the kids more choice though. Pool was very warm and clean. Don’t need to put towels on loungers in the mornings as there is always loungers available. Our room was good for us as we were just 2 adults but would be no good for 3. Only downside to the room is there is no dressing table or mirror, no full length mirror either, just the mirror in the bathroom, was a bit annoying but didn’t spoil it for us. Shower was good but flooded the floor so you have to angle the shower head right. Plant of wardrobe space with hangers. Balcony was nice, looking over to the town and views of the sea. The local town is nice we ate in Kings bar and Java and they were both great around 20 euros each for a meal. The beach is about a 10 min walk and I a little cove, really nice and warm shallow sea. Great for kids. We went on a nice boat trip which take you to the blue lagoon and can swim with the turtles, for a 3 hour trip it was 17.50 each, they brought fresh fruit around which was a nice touch. All in all we had a really nice holiday can’t fault it. Would definitely return.
