Livas - Brilliant!!
This is a truly wonderful place in Pernera. From the moment you arrive, to the moment you leave. Every member of staff greets you like a friend. The pool area and bar is immaculate. The food is very reasonable but also what they offer is freshly cooked and quality is great. Yana the manager is always on hand to help if needed. Reception team Iliana & Claudia are very helpful and go over and above. The team at the bar are all so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily and nice comfortable beds. The rooms are well equipped should you want to prepare a meal. But this is Cyprus and there are too many great places to eat, including Livas. Good choice at breakfast too! Cannot fault Livas and already booked 2027!

Excellent hitel
Third time at this hotel . Just come to the end of a 3 week stay and already booked for next year. As usual the staff ,food,rooms were excellent. Exceptionally clean .pool area is the cleanest I’ve seen and you don’t have to be up early having to put towels on sunbeds We stayed bed a breakfast and the variety at breakfast is great . The staff couldn’t be more friendlier always happy and welcoming they treat you like family. They walk round the pool all day like a waiter service . Nothing is to much trouble. . Especially Janet . She is friendly funny and happy all the time . Monday night is bbq and disco night . Absolutely recommend this hotel . Easy walk along the boardwalk to protaras. Excellent location for restaurants and bars .

Great hotel but don’t get a room facing the road/bar
Honest opinion of this hotel. The hotel itself is fantastic with lovely staff. Very clean and food is good and a nice size pool. Never had issues with beds around the pool although there was your usual handful that feel they’ve got to leave towels out. Location is also very good for beaches, bars and restaurants and 30 minute walk in to protaras via the coastal board walk. Unfortunately we were given a room that faced Panis ( which is a bar that remains open until 1-2am) and is very loud. We also had an issue with the aircon only going down to 24 degrees. We did mention this to reception on several occasions but nothing was done. Our sleep wad affected as we had to sleep with the balcony door closed but the temperature in the room was very warm due to the high aircon. I would stay again and I would recommend this hotel but don’t get a room facing the bar.
Lovely stay!
We had a lovely stay at this hotel for 2 weeks on a B&B basis, in a deluxe king studio. The position of the room was very good, as we didn't get the sun at all, which meant it didn't get too hot inside. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and helpful, but a special shout out from us to Janet and the lady that runs the shop. Never used the pool because we love the beach, but it was very clean and well maintained. Hotel is very clean throughout and the shop attached to it, is very handy. The beach is literally 2 min away through an alley...it's an absolutely lovely beach, with calm, turquoise waters...very laid back atmosphere, not too busy and spread out sunbeds. Good snorkeling too! Hotel is in a great location, few beaches on walking distance and lots of nice restaurants around. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would definitely come back again!
Great Hotel - Horrible Beds
It is possible that this review may be a little harsh and others may find my 3 star review is, when they review it a 5 star. But I think it is only fair to point out some of the negatives as well as the positives.
Positives
Location - The hotel is well located just a minutes walk off the main Protaras shops and only a two minute walk to get beach
Facilities - Has a restaurant and a good sized swimming pool that, when we were here, was largely empty so no issue with beds. Small supermarket on site which does enough to keep you going
Cleaning - Spotless and very well maintained throughout our stay with the room cleaned pretty much every day.
Staff - Very pleasant and accommodating
Rooms - Clean with TV (Deposit for Remote) and Safe (Paid) and good Air con.
Negatives
Beds - While it might suit some, for us they were the hardest, most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in on any European holiday. We simply couldn’t get a good nights sleep.
Cooking facilities- Limited with a two ring hob ( which was fine) and oven which was next to useless. Took a visit to reception to find out how to turn it on (plug hidden behind sofa) and when it was turned on it would have been quicker to leave food on the balcony to heat up.
Privacy - 2 days out of our week long stay we had someone open our room and come in while we were in bed (around 5 or 6 in morning). They were obviously some staff and apologised immediately but a little concerning that they were not aware people were in the room.
So would I stay in Livas again? If it wasn’t mainly for the beds it would be a definite yes. But because of them it’s a definite no.
Others may feel differently because there is a lot of very good things going for the hotel but sadly just not for us as we head back home in search of a good nights sleep
