This hotel occupies a quiet location in Protaras and right in front of a beautiful sandy beach. After going through a full renovation the hotel has a fresh and modern feel. The property is located literally on the edge of Protaras town centre and all its facilities are only a stone's throw away. This hotel resort will give guests a taste of warm, friendly and attentive Cypriot hospitality. Built on the beautiful golden sandy beach of Fig Tree Bay, this friendly accommodation is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The complex is sure to enchant visitors with its Mediterranean flair and warm hospitality. The rooms are wonderfully designed to create an oasis of peace and tranquillity, offering a complete escape for senses. Travellers may pamper their palates with tantalizing dishes at the in-house restaurant or sip a drink from the bar. The youngest guests may romp at the paddling pool, use the gym with cardio fitness training equipment, fix strengthen equipment, while adults may have a cooling dip in the outdoor pool or lounge on the terrace or even enjoy the steam bath, whirlpool and pamper themselves with a beauty treatment.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Average hotel with rude staff in dining room. Stayed for 10 nights recently and went for breakfast one morning. Took some quiche and couldnt eat it as was bulked out with fatty suet. Waiters are fast to take plates away after your fork touches the plate 🤣. Anyway , he went around the corner and said something to the rest of them standing around watching people and they all one by one looked around corner to me. Very rude staff , very average hotel. 4☆ ? i've been to much better and will not return there. Fantastic maids , they are the ones that make the hotel . Reception , good too. The rest Nope ! don't get me started on misery in shop 🤣
Beautiful hotel the view of the beach from our blancony with stunning.
Staff where very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
Food excellent. Rooms clean and very spacious.
Definitely will be coming back.
We stayed here for a late autumn break, and, despite some mixed reviews, our first impressions of the hotel were positive. Our room was clean and well presented with adequate storage space, a comfortable bed and firm pillows, a free to use safe, and a supply of toiletries which were replenished throughout our stay. The shower room was fine, but designed to look good on photos rather than be practical. What a difference a hook to hang your clothes on whilst showering would have made! Our balcony overlooked the sea and the sunrises were well worth getting up for. We watched with bemusement the antics of the people rushing down to stick towels on sunbeds. The poolside is cramped for the number of guests staying in the hotel and sunbeds are close together. At many times of the day you have to rely on the umbrella of your neighbours to provide you with shade if you need it. We had a half board booking and enjoyed our meals in the dining room providing we were able to get a table away from the door leading to the outdoor smoking area, Cigarette smoke from the outside tables would waft into the dining room on even the calmest days, and a sea breeze made some parts of the room quite unpleasant. We enjoyed the food provided though many of the dishes were inaccurately labelled, or presented without any description at all which might be an issue for people with allergies. Some of the themed meal nights were more successful than others. I think that the management of this hotel needs to consider the positioning of its smoking area and its affect upon non-smoking guests. Banning smoking from balconies and in rooms is good, but if an ashtray is then placed at the entrance to reception and the smoke thus wafts up to the rooms above it for several floors its not pleasant. Clearly this is a hotel that has a loyal following and several return guests. We found this puzzling. The hotel is perfectly fine but not so good that we would want to return year after year. Certainly I would not particularly recommend it to the parents of young children as there was very little to entertain them compared to other hotels in the vicinity.. On arrival we were given a list of hotel "rules" which has made us laugh as they were ignored by many guests and never enforced. The reception staff were usually helpful, though the young man who worked behind the desk was the one whose assistance made a big difference to us on a couple of occasions so we thank him the most. On the whole, a perfectly pleasant hotel, which could be easily made much better. We would return to Cyprus but would probably look for a different hotel if we were to return to this area.
We are just coming to the end of our latest holiday at this wonderful hotel. We have been coming to the Evelena for a number of years now and yet again we have had a fabulous time. The hotel is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and enjoys a stunning location. The food is excellent and the service from George and all of his lovely staff is first class. A special mention to Alon and Koolis who really go out of their way to make our holiday special. I would recommend the Evelena to anyone and we have already booked to come back next June. I can’t wait 👍👍👏👏
Great location on the sea front but no beach really just rocks. Only a 15 minute walk to the strip for restaurants and entertainment entertainment. Booked a superior room with a sea view but because it was in a corner the balcony was so tiny (see photos). I asked a couple of times to change rooms but they said none available. Nowhere to dry swim wear either, a rail would have been helpful. Tea coffee facilities provided as is a fridge plus Dressing gown and slippers. Towels changed daily. Really efficient quiet air con. Great for us non smokers as no smoking allowed in the rooms or on the balconies. Staff friendly and helpful. Everywhere was clean and well maintained. Due to the position of the pool and the time of the year we lost sun by 3.45pm The hotel didn’t implement a no reservation rule for sun beds so towels were on beds from 7.30am every morning before going to breakfast. Sun bed rage could be an issue in the summer months ! We were out of season so only a handful of children which was more than enough as there is no designated pool for them.
