Overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea and Sandy Bay, the family-run hotel Pavlo Napa Beach enjoys a prime location with direct access to a lovely Blue Flag beach. The lively centre of the popular holiday resort of Ayia Napa with its restaurants and bars is just a short stroll away; the Luna Park, the old monastery and the city museum are within walking distance. The renovated, family-friendly hotel offers comfortable rooms which are decorated in a contemporary style with modern furniture. The rooms enjoy side sea views and inland views. Guests will appreciate a wide variety of services and amenities, including complimentary WIFI connection in all public areas, an internet corner, business services, car, motorbike and bicycle rental as well as a doctor on call 24 hours. The restaurant serves tasty local cuisine. An ideal place for couples and families with children to spend a beach holiday.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Day 4 into an 2 week holiday and Extremely disappointed considering the cost! On a positive the rooms are clean , pool area has plenty of sunbeds and food has a good selection however the negatives outweigh the positives β¦ dreadful all inclusive with no actual snack bar with this being table service only which sounds great however these are full meals and not just something to munch on. Drinks choice appalling and whilst Iβm not a big drinker I do like the odd gin and having to pay for tonic water is a joke in addition to soft drinks not having slush as part of the package which in 36 degree heat you would think it would be considering itβs primarily ice! Balconies you canβt swing a cat in with no room to actually sit and relax. Minimal staff which I assume has impacted on entertainment as there literally is none other than karaoke on an evening and supposed water aerobics for 10 minutes during the day. Hopefully will improve but Unfortunately, will not be returning
Just recently returned after2 weeks of relaxation in this Fine hotel
Firstly location is Great if you want to be away from noise of central ayia napa bars ,traffic and lots of people but not too far to be able to walk into centre
Plenty of regular buses as an option on main road outside hotel
We went all inclusive which was god send considering the amount of fluids needed to stay alive in the heat around the pool π
Restaurant in the hotel was of a great standard tables were always laid out to a high quality on arrival for every meal
Staff in all departments in hotel were so helpful and attentive
If you treat the staff nice you receive double in return
Nothing was too much trouble from reception very helpful
The great selection of food on the buffet was varied with many options for all tastes and nationalities
Lots of healthy options for both breakfast and meals
Only small gripe is i would have preferred if certain foods could have been hotter but i know its difficult in a buffet enviroment
Hotel is divided between main and outer block
The rooms are Very ultra modern in the way of beds fixtures and touch sensitive controls for everything lights aircon etc VERY IMPRESSIVE
Amazing wet room shower
All in all great hotel great relaxing time
Thank you Pavlo Napa
This is possibly the best hotel we have stayed in so far and we have been holidaying abroad for the last 20 years . the staff are more than willing to help . Rooms are spacious and get cleaned every day . The only minus poin was my wife isn't allowed alcohol due to the meds she takes and it would have been nice to of had a non alcoholic lager for her to have . All said and done this was a fabulous place to stay . Lovely pool , plenty of sun beds and literally a stones throw from the sea . We will definitely be going back
We had a lovely stay at the Pavlo Napa Beach Hotel and would definitely recommend it.
The location was ideal for us. Itβs right on the beach, which was one of the best things about the hotel. We loved being able to walk straight onto the beach, and there were showers by the pool to rinse the sand off your feet before heading back to your sunbed. The hotel is around a 15β20 minute walk to the start of the Ayia Napa strip and about 45β50 minutes to the main square with the bars and clubs, so itβs in a great spot if you want to be close enough to the nightlife without staying in the middle of it.
The pool area was excellent. There were always plenty of sunbeds available throughout the day, so there was no need to get up early to reserve one. The sunbeds were very comfortable with large cushioned mattresses, and we always felt safe leaving our belongings while we went for a swim. Beach towels were also available for a small refundable deposit, which was really convenient.
Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. The bed was huge, the air conditioning worked well (although we couldnβt seem to adjust the temperature, it wasnβt an issue for us), and the hairdryer was surprisingly powerful. There was also a drying rack on the balcony which was really useful for swimwear and towels. The free in-room safe was much appreciated, and it was handy having hotel information and menus available on the TV.
As part of our stay, we received a voucher for one free lunch in the Γ la carte restaurant, which was a lovely extra. We both had the burger and it was delicious.
The all-inclusive package was very good. There was a great selection of drinks, including PiΓ±a Coladas as part of the standard all-inclusive offering, with the option to upgrade to premium cocktails if you wanted. The food was one of the highlights of the holiday. Every meal offered plenty of choice, all of the meat was cooked really well, and there were different themed evenings which kept things interesting. We also appreciated the all-inclusive ice cream, especially during the hotter parts of the day.
The only slight confusion we had with the food was during the main lunch and dinner service. It appeared that there were additional items you could order while seated in the restaurant, but this wasnβt explained to us. We didnβt end up using it, so it wasnβt a major issue. The restaurant staff were excellent throughout our stayβvery attentive and always happy to take drink orders during lunch and dinner. At breakfast, you simply helped yourself to juices and hot drinks.
The hotel itself was fairly quiet in the evenings, which suited us after busy days out. During our first couple of nights there wasnβt any entertainment, but later in the week there was a music quiz one evening and two different singers performing on two other nights.
There were a gym available, which appeared well equipped, and itβs worth knowing thereβs an indoor pool too, although you need to request access to use it.
Our only slight negative was one of the reception staff, who wasnβt particularly welcoming on arrival and gave very little information about the hotel or its facilities. We asked about late check-out when we checked in and were told to come back the night before we left. However, when we did, she said we would need to speak to the manager the following morning instead, which was frustrating as it contradicted what weβd originally been told. It was even more disappointing as she had just arranged a late check-out for the couple in front of us and was much friendlier towards them. Late check-out until 4pm would have been β¬40, but we decided not to extend our room. Instead, we made use of the free changing rooms, showers and luggage storage in the conference room, which worked perfectly well so I recommend just doing this and saving the hassle and money.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The food was excellent, the room was modern and comfortable, the pool facilities were great, and the beachfront location was perfect while still being within walking distance of the strip. Weβd happily stay here again and would definitely recommend the Pavlo Napa Beach Hotel to anyone visiting Ayia Napa.
An outstanding hotel in a beautiful location!
The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms were exceptionally clean on arrival, and were cleaned everyday to a high standard. There was complimentary shampoo, shower gel, shower caps and slippers. The shower was powerful. The beds were large and comfortable. The lights and air conditioning were all controlled by touchscreen panels. There were various options for lighting. The dressing table had a large well lit vanity mirror and powerful hairdryer. The wardrobe had interior lighting that turned on when the doors were opened. The balcony had two chairs, a table and washing airer.
The restaurant was clean and calm. The food was fresh and delicious with a different theme each night. The waiting staff were efficient and attentive without being pushy.
The pool area was clean, with plenty of extremely comfortable sunbeds, with tables and parasols. You could change your pool towel daily. The pool bar was exceptional. The staff were friendly and efficient, and there was an excellent choice of drinks available. There was plenty of shaded seating by the bar. The pool itself was clean and a good depth.
The bar inside the hotel was cool, calm and beautifully decorated.
The lift was small but worked quickly.
The hotel and pool toilets were exceptionally clean.
The beach was a very short stroll away. Sunbeds and parasols were available for a small charge. There were water sports available for reasonable prices. There were ramps/paths down to the edge of the sea making it accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. A box of buckets & spades etc. was available for children to borrow. The sand was soft and golden and the sea was clean and safe to swim in, with it being shallow for quite a distance before gently becoming deeper.
The hotel was situated about a 25-30 minute walk from the the main shops, restaurants and bars. There were plenty of shops and restaurants along the walk. Or you could use the BOLT app for a taxi there & back at a very reasonable price.
What was wrong with the hotel and location.....absolutely nothing!!!! We will definitely visit again!
